We recently hired Santiago Roofing & Renovation to repair a deck for us in Asheville, NC…read more Unfortunately the experience and product was awful. None of the work on the deck was to code after repeatedly calling and texting with specific photos and videos to Mr. Santiago of all that needed to be done to bring it to code and code compliance written into the signed contract. The deck lacked flashing against the house in multiple places, the stairs were uneven and crooked, the railings were not to code, boards were cut unevenly, etc. Bottom line is we are left with a bigger mess than we started with and now have to completely tear up what was done incorrectly and pay a new builder to redo the deck without any refund from Mr. Santiago. Run from this company.
