Having Dr. Chele come to our house has made the world of difference! My cats don't get anxious before their vet visits anymore...they get to remain in the comfort of their own home while being treated. Chele is kind and professional -- she brings everything she needs with her to make your vet visits as seamless as possible. She is reasonably priced...and she has great relationships with other vet clinics in town in those few instances where we've had to go for minor surgery. I can't say enough good things about her and her bedside (pet) manner. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an alternative to a traditional veterinary clinic.

That's why I'm so grateful that UrgentVet exists. I was desperate to find a timely solution, and beggars can't be choosers when everything is either closed or booked up on a Saturday. So I rolled the dice with this place and hoped for the best. I was distraught, naturally, and there was no scenario where this experience would be an enjoyable one. But UrgentVet made this ordeal as tolerable and gentle as it could possibly have been. Here are some things I especially appreciated: The staff was patient, kind, and empathetic. They accommodated me quickly. The facility - and our room - was very clean. They administered a relaxing agent to help my dog feel comfortable. They let me hold her and they gave me time and privacy to say goodbye to her. UrgentVet can't necessarily control this aspect, but my dog passed very peacefully and very quickly after they injected her. UrgentVet created multiple awesome keepsakes for me: paw prints from my dog and a nose print; I'll treasure both. They lovingly wrapped my girl up and returned her to us in a sturdy, cardboard casket, which made transporting her and burying her very easy. I didn't care remotely about the pricing at the time, but they were very reasonable. Weeks later, the staff even sent me a really sweet signed card in the mail. How amazing is all of that? This place went far above and beyond what I envisioned at a time when I was desperate and crestfallen. I can't speak to how well they function as an emergency veterinary clinic, but I can tell you that they were wonderful helping my dog and I navigate the end of her life. An easy five stars.

One of our dalmatians takes medication daily for seizures and a trip to the vet has been a trigger. We made appointments for both dogs plus our cat to receive their annual check up and shots. The visit was thorough and we received a follow up call on Luna's bloodwork to confirm she was on the correct medication for her seizures. The vet also confirmed the best rotation to give her pills (thanks for settling a debate with my husband!). Price is subjective based on what you're used to and your budget. For us, fairly similar and it was a relief to get a home visit. We plan on being a regular customer.

This was great because they came to my home instead. They have a super nice mobile vet van with exam tables and all the equipment. It was very clean and high tech. The doctor and her assistant were so professional and kind. They administered yearly vaccinations and did general exams of both Shadow and Shimmer kitties and it was so easy! So convenient! This is the way to go for pet exams. It was less stressful for both cats...and myself. It seemed safer as well, I have always disliked packing my cats up in the car and risking them getting loose as well as eliminating all the fussing they did in the vehicle. It was perfect just to bundle each cat up separately and walk outside to their vet unit. It was nice not to have any other animals around also, super private with no added drama or stimulation for kitties. I highly recommend! Thanks for the great care and service.

The Office manager isn't personable at all. Seen her several times and always very transactional, but that's ok as long as my pets are well cared for. what made me reconsider Dr Lazas was when she treated me with disrespect in front of the office manager after telling me she was going to tell the manager I deserved an apology. I realized integrity is missing in that office and it starts at the top. I awoke one Saturday and my bunny Dolly was in GI stasis so I gave her what meds I had and rushed to the office at 9am. My Bunny George died a month prior from stasis. I took him to Dr Lazas but he was too far gone. I wasn't going to let that happen again. As I walked inside the manager sighed heavily expressing frustration. I'd planned to wait for Dolly but she dismissed me stating she'd call me. I distracted myself driving around in the country waiting for the call. Then I had car trouble. I called my sister and told her the vet closed in 30min so my sis went right over and picked up Dolly for me. She got there just at closing but the manager said she'd told me to be there at 11or something Not so. The office manager screamed at my sister telling her I "just dropped that THING off and was late picking that THING up". When sis asked if I could be billed the manager screamed "that's not fair" and much more. Sis gladly paid for me if they couldn't bill but wasn't even able to finish her sentence. Sis asked why are you screaming at me, she paid and left. I had fecal samples so went to office at end of a day to speak w/Dr Lazas and to drop sample off. Dr Lazas,my sis and me talked outside. Dr Lazas had received a letter from me after that visit expressing my concern that a vet tech would call my baby a 'THING' and behave so unprofessional. Dr Lazas asked "did she scream at you". we said yes and Dr Lazas said she's screamed at her too and it's unpleasant. She apologized and said I deserved at least an apology from the office manager. She also told me to contact her directly for my appointments and such. I felt relieved. awhile later I left a message to schedule an appointment and waited 10 days without hearing back. On a Saturday I was in area and it was after 12 so I stopped in to make the appointment. The manager again was annoyed I was there without an appointment and told me they were busy. I offered to wait until they closed and were finished for the day. Dr Lazas came out about 40 minutes later just before closing and spoke to me. She described her day as a rough one and her tone and body language made me think that I was a bother. I brushed it off as hard day but realized later her tone was unpleasant when the manager was in the room and changed when she left. Healers work is sometimes difficult. I get that. I appreciate what they give to pets and their parents. idk how I could've been more accommodating. I did what she asked. I reached out to her directly and when I didn't hear back I went to the office at the end of a day. I needed to ask about a grooming procedure. Rabbits are SO sensitive to stress and go into GI stasis easily So even grooming is challenging. Dr Lazas demeanor was charged with negative energy that changed once the manager stepped away. She said I told you to come to me and I didn't get back to you so let me make an appointment now. I left with an appointment but felt as if someone knocked me down and then offered a hand to help me up when no one was looking. I later messaged canceling the appointment. Going to the vet shouldn't be that hard. I don't believe dr Lazas discussed the poor customer service experience with the manager so maybe felt awkward when I showed up and we're all there together. Dr Lazas didn't handle any of it well. She seems a good person but there's something off in that office. I don't doubt her commitment to animals. Integrity and emotional intelligence is what I question.

They said they would call me later, after Dr. Deck checked him out. Well, Dr. Deck actually called - it wasn't good news but Clyde was treated and kept overnight. He worsened Friday and Kelly said I needed to come in right away. She was lovely, hugged me, and brought Clyde to me. He was going to have to be put to sleep but I spent time with him. Kelly took some photos of me and Clyde. She shaved some of his fur and put it in a little bag with his name on it. I couldn't stay as my neighbor brought me and was waiting plus Kelly wasn't sure what time Dr. Deck would be in to do the procedure. I called later that afternoon and Clyde was gone. But Kelly told me that Dr. Deck had made an impression of Clyde's paw for me. She said it was "really cool". I will pick it up when I take my other senior cat, Freddie, in to check his blood sugar. Everyone was extraordinary at an awful time. I cannot believe how kind they all were! Good people...,

I called to have our dogs scheduled for dental work and the receptionist kept avoiding my direct questions. She kept saying this is what you will have to pay for, but wouldn't say how much. I am not going to schedule if I don't know the cost. So, I asked again for specifics. She got annoyed by my questions, put me on hold out of nowhere, then came back and said this clinic wasn't the right fit for us. I mentioned how confusing this was bc it is their job to answer questions about pricing and what the surgery entailed. Especially since I have been taken advantage of at this clinic. When my cat was last brought in, the vet completed x-rays without my permission, even though I was in the other room. That cost an additional $300+. Everything about this clinic is a bit sketchy and they were right, this clinic isn't for me. I prefer transparency and kindness.
