When scheduling and preparing for the big day, PZO productions made everything seamless. He came off strong to me, and wouldn't be my first choice for a wedding DJ, especially since he's the only DJ I've ever seen who self-promotes during receptions. Many DJs leave business cards out, but he actually said the organization he's from, and not just once. (Hey, if it gets them gigs, more power to them, but if you decide to hire JKE, it's probably a good idea to negotiate that they don't mention themselves during the wedding proceedings.) At heart, the DJ is a good guy and puts effort into his work, and totes around lots of equipment. He's open to song requests, incorporating them into the playlist. If you need an energetic DJ in the tri-state area, he's not bad for dance parties, high school or otherwise. Your mileage may vary.

J-ARE made sure everything he played was edited to be free of obscenities, as we had a crowd that included children, and seniors. He also played everything on our request list, which included Oldies, Hip Hop, Latin, and Country music. His announcements were all clear and concise. And, he even collaborated with The Matron of Honor to do a surprise Rap toast over an old school 90s instrumental beat! At the end of the night people were coming up to us and asking for his contact information because he had done such a great job. His equipment sounded great, and his mixing was on point. In addition to clip on mics for the officiant and my husband - he had a mic on a stand for our reader and even found out her height ahead of time so it would be perfect when she walked up. Even my grandfather heard our vows perfectly. The reception was in a large museum hall, and somehow Mike managed to make the music completely clear. He was such a pro, that he pronounced every name of the bridal party correctly because he asked them ahead of time. He really took heed of our music selections. Most importantly, he made a stressful process fun to plan. He gave us valuable advice, but never pushed anything we didnt want. We really get the feeling he loves what he does, loves people and genuinely wants everyone to have the best time possible. We can't say enough good things about him. He just rocks!
