Comedy of errors is an understatement. My daughter told her 'expert' that she wore a 0. He measured her waist, put a 6 on her and told her she would wear a 2. She told him she never wore a 2 and was told "my thumb never lies, you'll fit in a 2" and that if it doesn't fit, "we can order you the correct size". First dress came in and was the wrong color. Sent it back and the correct color came in, size 2, and it's much too big. The store is now saying the correct size won't be available by her wedding date-October 15. We are waiting to see if they will make it right by altering the gown at no cost. Supposed to hear about that tomorrow. Also, her sash came in the wrong color and 3/5 bride's maid dresses were the wrong size. Whether we allow them to alter the dress or not, David's Bridal has been UNDERWHELMING, at best and I cannot recommend them in any shape, form, or fashion, irrespective of how they propose to settle it. Update to the above: it's gone from bad to abysmal, and that's being kind. One week after I posted the above, my daughter was told she would have a 0 in three weeks. That was six weeks ago and the latest is the dress won't be in until October 5th. This past week end, she was also told three weeks a second time. After being read an email from the dress maker, it was obviously a lie, the date was always October 5th. I wish I could give zero stars-this has been a horrible experience in which nothing has gone right. Communication has been almost non-existent, and what there was, was at best erroneous and at worst a lie. I have nothing good to say about David's Bridal and would advise anyone considering shopping there to run screaming in the opposite direction. read more

Spent the afternoon at David's Bridal in Evansville, IN with my daughter to find the perfect dress for her wedding. We had been at another shop about a month ago and tried on several dresses and found one that she liked, but wasn't quite sure if it was the one. Loni Decker was our stylist and greeted us at the door with a bag of goodies and immediately tried to make us at home. After lots of questions she pulled several dresses for Catie to try on. Every one was prettier than the next, but none were quite right, and I was beginning to feel nervous that we weren't going to find it or just have to settle. Loni went to the back and came out and ask her would she please try on one more for her. They went into the dressing room and out came my "fairy princess" it was beautiful and perfect in every way!! Loni Decker is as sweet a salesperson we have ever worked with, she was determined to make Catie's day perfect. She made her feel beautiful and was so caring. The shop is beautiful and so comfortable and every salesperson that walked by was sweet and helpful. At the time Catie said, "Yes" to the dress, Loni had her to close her eyes and make a wish and then ring the bell to tell the world! A perfect end to a wonderful day!! Thank you "our" Loni and David's Bridal for starting my baby's bridal trip on a perfect note. Update: Although had a great first time experience, if you go back in (picked up dress) and was asking about when to do alterations and ordering flower girl dresses. I went to the nearest David's Bridal to get ideas of what kind of informal dress I was looking for......at this point I wasn't sure but had several ideas. The greeter that took my information and signed us in wasn't to friendly but did her job. I asked where the informal dresses were and if they had any Tea Length gowns, the response was no and pointed me in the informal dress area. Tori was assigned to us, to help us find what we were looking for. I explained we were on a budget for a small one hour ceremony.....I didn't have a lot of money and all my family is out of state and would not be able to attend. Tori helped me look at informal dresses, colored brides made dress, brides maid dresses that came in white and off white and the one Tea length gown they had. Tori was and is FANTASTIC!!! She advised... she completely understood and had confidence we would find me something within my price range....I found an informal dress and Tori helped me find all the assesories to match and be glamorous on a budget for my big day!!!! It was just me and my mom but Tori was just incredible, diligent, knowledgeable, attentive and kind!!!! She didnt care that I wasnt there to spend thousands of dollars and she genuinely wanted to help. I had a great experience and left with everything I needed, even shoes!!!! I had an appointment this past weekend at David's Bridal. As I walked through the doors with my closest friends and family they made us feel right at home. My consultant walked up to me introducing herself as I walked in even though she was super busy with other customers. She wanted to know exactly what I was looking for so that she could find the perfect dress for me. As she was finishing up with them she had me go through a book to find dresses that I may like. I never knew that wedding dress shopping would be so emotional. Zai made me feel so much better and kept me calm throughout the day. As I left the day of my appointment thinking that I had found the perfect dress I realized later that day that the dress that I had chose was not the dress for me. The next day I called Zai and explained to her that I think I made a mistake in the dress I had chose. She told me to come back in and she would put me in the dress I chose the day before and if I didn't feel the same about it we would try different ones until I was 100% sure what dress I wanted to leave with. I left with the most PERFECT wedding dress, veil, hair piece, and shoes. I could not have asked for a better experience. Zai was absolutely fabulous. I will for sure be going back so she can help me find the perfect bridesmaid dresses as well. I am very thankful for her, her time, and her patience. read more

November 8th was the first day I tried on wedding dresses for my wedding in July. I had an idea of what I was looking for, thanks to the David's Bridal website & Pinterest! My consultant Don was beyond helpful in listening to what I wanted but also suggesting I try a few dresses outside of my vision. I am so glad I did! I walked into the appointment hoping to leave with a more clear idea of what dress I knew I wanted....Never did I dream of finding my perfect dress after only trying on 6 dresses!! Don made me feel very comfortable with any reservations I had (as I'm sure lots of women do when you aren't used to being the center of attention), whether it be about my body/figure or the type of dress I thought I could wear. After given one dress a "9", I was excited to know that I was getting close! He then asked if I'd be willing to try on a few more he thought of, and the final dress I tried on, I did not want to take it off! The feeling I had when I put the Oleg Cassini dress on, as well as the positive reactions from my mom, aunt, and sisters, including the other David's Bridal workers was overwhelming! I scheduled my appointment at David's Bridal while attending a bridal expo over the winter. I have had my reservations about dress shopping and have struggled getting into the spirit of wedding planning. I'm very excited about marrying the love of my life and father to our children, I'm just not a planner. The week before my appointment, I went online and started saving looks I liked. I was looking for something flowy and comfortable but with some traditional aspects like sleeves and lace. When I arrived at my appointment I was greeted by Zia and Kendra. Both consultants we're welcoming, kind and open to hearing my ideas for my dress. I am more of a laid back person and truly enjoyed my appointment. Zia was very informative and honest about our budget and the looks I was dreaming of. All of my friends and family had fun as well and felt comfortable sharing their opinions. In the end, I found my dream dress and everything started feeling so real! Zia put things into a real life scenario about our wedding day and I even cried happy tears! It was such a great experience! I hadn't made up my mind about bridesmaid dresses. But after the great experience that I had with my dress, I hope to go back with my bridesmaids to look for their dresses! read more

The first time I went to look for my dress it was a horrible experience. The young lady said she would help me with my dress but was no where to be found when I came out the dressing room. I had my fiancee with me and he couldn't figure out how to zip the dress so I decided to leave near tears. Then the very nice alterations lady stopped me and helped me try on a few dresses as the lady who was supposed to be helping me walked around stopping occasionally to watch. Then the alterations lady reminded me that my husband to be wasn't supposed to be there so I left and told her I'd be back with my daughter. I only decided to give them another chance because the alterations lady was so nice. The second time I came it was a absolutely fantastic experience. Debbie G. helped me. She was awesome. She made the experience so fun. She helped me with everything from shoes to veil. She took her time. She helped me with my girdle. We tried with slip, then without slip. She never left me. I only wish she could be at the church with me on my special day! I found the perfect dress that was in my budget with her help. I rang the bell and said yes to the dress! My soon to be mother in law and I came into this store for the first time on Friday, March 18, 2016, to look for my wedding dress. I got there about 12:30 p.m. and was helped right away. Kristen was the woman assigned to help me choose some dresses to try on. She was so nice and sweet and made me feel so comfortable. It was overwhelming at first and I was really nervous and excited to be there to choose my potential wedding dress. She helped me find the ones I was really interested in and she gave her honest feedback on each one I tried on. By the time I had tried on my 3rd dress, I knew I had found my dress! Kristen was just as excited as I was with my choice and she really helped set off the dress with the gorgeous veil she had me try with it. Her manager Donald (I think he was a manager?) was just as excited and he was very helpful at the end when it came time to purchase my dress. I walked out of there with my new dress, veil and tiara! I have not always had a good experience at this David's Bridal location, so I did not get any dresses for my wedding at David's. However, I am the matron of honor for my sister-in-law's upcoming wedding and she found some dresses on David's Bridal online that she loved, so we set up an appointment and the bridal party commenced. Our experience was phenomenal because of our bridal consultant, Zai Swain. She put us all at ease and just had fun with us. She didn't make anybody feel awkward. She accommodated everyone and our respective sizes and styles. The bride was so happy with the bridesmaid dress and shoes, but we all agreed that the dress was perfect and we all had the greatest time together. Since we went on Small Business Saturday, we got $20 off the price of each dress and a BOGO 50% deal on shoes. Zai was so funny, knowledgeable, and professional. She blew all of my other David's Bridal experiences out of the water. David's Bridal would do well to give her a raise...and a promotion. Keep smiling and being amazing, Zai! read more

I had heard horrible things about David's Bridal so I went into my appointment with very low expectations and was more than pleasantly surprised. My mom, aunt, and I were greeted as soon as we walked in by our consultant, Zai S, and our service just improved from there. Zai was friendly, funny, kind, helpful, professional, knew what dresses would look great on my body type, listened to my likes and dislikes, and didn't pressure me into trying on any dresses that were outside of what I wanted. She found me a dress that looked great on me and didn't need any alterations (except a doo-dad accent thing we're having added). I was shocked to find out that she had only been there a smidge over a week; she seemed like she had been matching brides with their dresses for ages! When I made my appointment to come in for bridesmaid dresses the day I picked was her day off and she offered to come in and take care of us anyway!!! I can't think of one single thing she could have done better, seriously, she was amaze balls. read more

10/1/16 I was in the store with my daughter for her wedding dress.... LONI DECKER was the lady who helped her... She was great with all 7 of us. She came up with ideas over and above to add details on a dress that my daughter fell in love with. It is ordered! I'm going back next week for myself. I hope to have Loni's help then. Great place & polite people. I only have 1 semi complaint... I paid for the dress, etc. myself, the lady handed me some things in a bag and the box for restoration $99. Later that day, she called my daughter and she was told she had to bring it back, didn't pay for it. I was like that makes no sense-my daughter & I discussed it in front of cashier that she wanted it, the cashier handed me the box... Then wants it back!!! I'm going to talk to them Tuesday when I return. IF anything my daughter should be able to get the restoration at the $99 price. THAT "1" thing can cause a person NOT to return.... I can't even begin to explain how much I love the wonderful people in this store! Everything about my experience was magical and they did everything they could to accommodate any request I had. I am very specific about what I want and I made that very clear. All the women that helped me (Debbie, Jamie, and Samantha (Sam)) went above and beyond their job description to ensure that I received the dress that I wanted and additionally, the bridesmaids dresses that I wanted. I had to order 3 bridesmaid dresses from 3 different stores and Sam (the manager) spent basically the entire time on the phone (no exaggeration) to locate and put on hold these dresses to buy. Jamie also made sure that I received the dresses at the price that I saw them on the rack. These women are 5 star staff members and are customer service driven. I would buy my wedding dress and my 5 bridesmaid dresses all over again at this David's Bridal. Lovely staff, Lovely place, Lovely customer service!!! read more

I went into David's Bridal in Evansville yesterday. The lady helping me was Lori. Let me just say she was AMAZING. She was very attentive and listened to what I wanted and tried to find exactly that. I did find a dress that I really liked, however I have my eyes set on a Melissa Sweet dress and this location does not carry that line so I will be ordering from online. But Lori was the sweetest and most helpful person I think I've ever had help me. She seems like she is truly in the career to see that yes to the dress face. I will also say, that there was an older woman with short brown hair and glasses who seemed to be watching Lori like a hawk and kept trying to assist her but rudely, she kept butting in. I could tell that this made Lori discouraged and it made me uncomfortable. Overall my experience was great and I have Lori to thank for that. I will be visiting here again, but will request Lori. read more

I was a walk-in and they were able to get me in immediately with someone. Everyone was super nice and friendly! I found THE dress :) It is so beautiful and I can't wait to wear it on the big day. All of the staff made me feel special, which is what I wanted. Taylor was the consultant and she was amazing. She helped me try on so many different styles to find what I like. She went above and beyond... We tried on a tiara, a flower crown, a cathedral style veil, a slip that made my dress even poofier! Whatever I wanted to try on she got for me. Taylor definitely made me feel nice and my family that was there felt very appreciative of her efforts. Cannot recommend David's Bridal enough. The prices were good... I went to Mr. Tuxedo a few days before and the dresses there were nearly $1000 more for the exact same dress! The service was amazing, I felt like a princess. read more

I went to David's Bridal as the Maid of Honor. Keerstin W. helped the wedding party look through a lot of dresses as the bride didn't have a lot of specifications for the look. We had a large group with us and a lot of questions. She was very patient and helpful. We didn't purchase anything as it was our first stop, but we had a plan if we came back. The bride ended up sending me back the next day, possibly buying the dress. We were a little uncomfortable with how short the dress was and how low the neckline was. Keerstin helped by suggesting that we check if we can add length to the dress (we could) and we bought a wrap to add fabric to the neckline. She took the time to review everything with us at checkout. I highly recommend David's Bridal and Keerstin as your consultant! read more

The first time I went in was just to browse and Zai was my consultant, the second time I scheduled an appointment and I was determined to find the bridal gown for me. Zai made me feel comfortable and made the experience awesome! I later learned that she had come in on her day off when she found out I was coming back. With her help, I found the dress! I went in a few weeks later to pick up my dress and definitely was not impressed with the other consultants. I was put in a dressing room by myself to try on my dress and was forced to walk around the store to find someone to zip me up. I felt like an inconvenience. If I had gotten another consultant I'm sure I wouldn't have found my dress. Zai went over and beyond and I could tell she loved her job! read more

I had a great experience with Loni at David's Bridal! Initially, I went in to just look around with my mom, and two aunts. I was going to wait until later in the week when my best friend was able to come. Well, I went in with no clue what I wanted. Loni did a great job finding a wide variety of dresses, and narrowing it down by what i liked and didn't like about the dresses. She ended up finding a dress that was exactly what I wanted! I was only there a hour and half, I never expected to walk out of there with my dress the same day. I would advise anyone to go to David's Bridal who wants a beautiful dress, but don't want to spend a fortune! And ask for Loni...she was patient, understanding and worked hard at finding what I wanted! read more

Today my best friend and I came to the store to just look around. My consultants name was Loni, and there aren't enough positive words in the dictionary to describe how wonderful and helpful she was! She is truly passionate about her job, and made my experience unforgettable. She picked out maybe five dresses for me to try on, and I fell in love with one. I put the dress on and just cried I loved it so much. Loni went above and beyond to make me feel incredible. She laughed with us and cried with us in the moment. I felt like I was working with a friend I've known for years! I found the perfect gown, with the help of perfect people. I highly recommend shopping here, and ask for Loni! I have been looking online for a wedding dress for a few months now and had found a dress that I loved on David's Bridal's website. The dress had been $500, but was on sale for only $99 and I knew that window of opportunity was going to close soon so I jumped on it! The store manager was extremely kind, helpful and fast with the ordering process and I received my stunning gown within 3 days! I was so nervous to order it without trying it on, but it is gorgeous and just what I wanted...I have no regrets. She even included money saving coupons and a very thoughtful hand written note congratulating me! I thought that was a very nice touch and it meant a lot to me.
