I went back in November to find a wedding dress, I ended up putting a dress on layaway that was way over my budget but the girls at the store insisted we could make it work. After a month went by I just couldn't justify the price tag on the dress and I went back to see if I could cancel my layaway and put the money from the previous dress towards a new one which I was told yes. Once I had chose a new dress which honestly I loved way more it was time to cancel the layaway and pay for the new dress. They didn't know how to process this so I get a call the next day to process the cancellation and refund and I'm told there is a cancellation fee which really threw me off and made me upset. After finding out there's nothing they can do about the cancellation fee I am just waiting for my refund. The store claims my layaway was canceled but I'm still receiving emails for reminders that my final payment date is coming up. I called customer service and 5 days have went by with no response so I call the Knoxville location today to be told that my layaway was never cancelled, that the manager isn't in store. I'm continually being brushed off about this situation and I'm beyond frustrated. No one will simply have a associate above the store manager contact me even though this situation is continuing to be unresolved I am updating this now that I have spoken with the manager and have received a complete refund. I'm just still at a loss for words when it comes to this experience. Just thankful that is now over and I never have to go back! read more

We stopped into David's bridal to look for a formal dress and had at least three associates walk by without greeting me or any of my party. After walking around for at least ten minutes without any acknowledgment we decided that due to lack of customer service this was not the place for us. I came in to purchase my dress which went so well that I thought I would let David's Bridal do the alterations as well. I bought a bigger dress to avoid the issues that we (still) had where the dress turns out too small after alterations. I went back a total of four times two times they told me that they could fix the bust which to begin with was the only issue as it was too large. They then called and said the dress was ready and it was entirely too small around my rib cage this time around. So they told me they could add a corset back and it would be no big deal. I accepted this change as I had a month before the wedding. Call two weeks later and they tell me the dress was done. It was not done I leave yet again empty handed. I was told "We will call you Monday and let you know what is going on." I waited two more weeks. Here it is a week before my wedding and my dress is still to small around my ribs as they told me that they couldn't even do the corset alteration to begin with due to the boning of the dress. I am beyond distressed at the lack of communication this alterations department has. The staff are all very kind overall but that means next to nothing when I can't find anyone who can fix their mistake a week away from my wedding. My sisters dress try on went well. The girl was very nice. She went back for alterations when her dress came in, they ordered the wrong dress. The people were very rude, very unaccomidating, weren't even sure if the correct dress would be in before the wedding. My sister was just in tears.. The correct dress came in, she went back for alterations again, the ladies were very rude again, acting like she was such an inconvenience (she had very minor alterations). Which were very costly. Tears again. They said she could pick up her dress the day before her wedding, it would be steamed and in the bag she purchased when she purchased the dress. They called a few days early so she went down to get the dress. Tried it on and it fit nicely. It wasn't steamed, it wasn't in a bag. It was asked about because they told her it would be steamed, they said it would take too long and would be another extra charge. My mom called and got them to steam it. They also didn't want to put the dress into a decent bag to leave the store. A bag which she bought from the store for that purpose. They said "they'd try to find a bag." All around bad experience. We were only in town a few days so we had limited time but they tried very hard to fix everything and make us happy. We still have to work on the length when bustled but overall I was satisfied with their willingness to work with us and try to fix the problems. read more

Went with my sister and my family to find my sisters wedding dress. We spent about an hour and a half trying on all the dresses and veils. The fitting room area has a single "stage" and all the brides model in-front of all the other parties. Not intimate at all. The place was very unorganized and staff members were pretty rude. Still, my sister found THE DRESS. The attendant told my sister that she would have the dress by next month which gave us plenty of time before the wedding. We celebrated and my sister rang the bell! My sister then went to get her purchase finalized and then at the counter they told her it would not be back in time for the wedding !!! We were all devastated and felt that this should have been checked before. Unprofessional. We will not be back. read more

This store sold me two different sized shoes! I tried on the style in the store to confirm my size, but purchased in a different color than the display. When the salesgirl brought me the box I glanced inside to make sure the color was correct before paying. It didn't occur to me to check the sizes on BOTH shoes. I was obviously quite unhappy. Not only was my wedding day affected, but I'd planned to consign the $80 bridal shoes afterward. I went back to the store (with the original shoe box) after the wedding and asked to trade the same shoe in one size or the other so I'd at least have a matching pair to consign. I was informed by the employee that they have a 100% no return/exchange policy. When I explained the situation and that it was their error, she acted very annoyed and made faces at the people in line behind me as if I were making a scene. I understand the rationale for David's return policy due to the nature of their products, but this was obviously their mistake. If you buy anything from this store, which I strongly discourage, be sure to perform a military grade inspection of the item before handing them your money. read more

I purchased a $1800 dress there a couple months ago, and the item arrived three weeks after my purchase. I found it does not fit me very well so I just returned it very quick. However, the sellers told me the 7- day return policy starts from the day that I swiped my card, so I can't get my money back, but some gift cards instead. Made an appointment to get fitted for wedding gowns for my then, 20th anniversary wedding renewal...the dream wedding I never had.... Got there and the staff was very helpful in showing and fitting me into all kinds of gorgous dresses. Found a Oleg Cassini dress that was a very expensive dress. It was absolutely gorgous and exactly THE DRESS. Got the shoes, tiara, veil, jewelry....the works!!! Paid cash for all of it. Picked out ALL of the bridesmaids dresses and shoes as well, all paid for. Ok, now your wondering why only a 2 star rating? My bridesmaids were all over the country, this is why I chose David's Bridal. They could easily go in and try their dresses on and get fitted properly along with which shoe style they wanted, to fit their needs. When my sister-in-law came into the store to get fitted for her dress she asked about MY dress. Which was suppose to be a secret until the day I walk down the isle for my "dream wedding I never had" (We didn't have the funds back in the day for a big wedding, only a court house wedding...so this was a HUGE deal to me. The ladies showed my sister-in-law MY dress!!! They even printed out the dress on their computer and gave it to her to show My mother-in-law. My sister-in-law then called me up and told me how beautiful MY dress was and how my Mother-in-law loved it soooooo much as well, saying it was the perfect dress. YES, it WAS the perfect dress......but they were NOT to show ANYONE that dress. I told them that NO one was to see it. NOBODY! (It was notated in writing in the notes so that the other locations could see it as well) I got ahold of cooperate. They ended up refunding me my money and told me to come in and choose another dress. They felt bad and were very understanding of my feelings. But, it shouldnt of happened..I didn't want to go through another 3 hours of finding THAT ONE dress when I already found it. I ended up going to a smaller place in Maryville. I was hurt, sad and upset at the same time. How could they do such a horrible thing?! If you want your dress a secret, tell them to put it in the notes.... I think it is important to address, because I am seeing several people say that it was so crowded, on a Saturday, with no appointment. That is why I booked an appointment and did so on a weekday. Anywhere is more crowded on the weekends and if you want to make sure you receive the attention you want, you plan ahead and take that into consideration. Duh. Amber F. was my consultant and she was fantastic. My mother was running about half an hour late due to a wreck on the interstate, and she pulled some dresses while we waited and got some info- with no pressure to hurry. She welcomed the input of choosing some gowns from my best friend and mother, which was super important to me. Her comments and input were helpful and honest- not blowing smoke up my ass to make a sale. Her accessory suggestions were spot on too- and didn't try to frou-frou me up which wasn't what I wanted- she listened and that was greatly appreciated. She wasn't pushy- she assisted me in making my choice and did so in a perfect way. read more

I am so glad I didn't get my dress from David's Bridal. If you go, make sure you call ahead and get an appointment. Or book one online. I didn't and probably paid for it with the nonexistent customer service I received. Even with your appointment, especially like the Saturday that I was there, there is absolutely no way that you are 1:1 with your wedding consultant. It was literally chaos when I was there, and it seemed that most of the employees were juggling between two or three customers each. I'm sure they'd chalk it up to wedding and prom season...but honestly, it's really hard to try on dresses without their expertise! I wasn't really in love with the shoes I had so I decided to stop by David's Bridal to check out their choices. When you go in, there's a podium that apparently you probably check in at. When I stepped into bedlam, there were two associates talking to each other behind the podium. They glanced at me briefly, but as they made no form of acknowledgement, I had to peruse on my own. They have dresses. Lots and lots of dresses in all shapes, form, color, sizes, prices. The selection is pretty diverse, and honestly, if the store wasn't full of cacophonous voices, I wouldn't have minded browsing. They were running their annual $99 dress sale also...a rack with two dresses left. Other things were apparently on clearance, but I couldn't really tell that they were. A tiara was still $99. A garter was $30 (FYI, it's like $3.50 at Joanns, less if you have a coupon). The clearance sashes were still $70+. No wonder weddings are a multi-million dollar industry...they mark up the prices like crazy, and we all fall prey to it. I had to brave the cattle herd of dressing rooms (all filled) to get to the back where the shoes, jewelry, and veils were. The cheapest, plainest veil will set you back $50. The shoes are at least $10-$20 more expensive than what you'll find at DSW...at regular price. I was there for about 40-45 minutes trying on hairpieces, veils, and shoes. Not even one acknowledgement from a sales associate. Needless to say, I left empty-handed. read more

Let me start off by saying: I DID NOT WANT A DRESS FROM DAVID'S BRIDAL. In my mind it's just the Wal-Mart of wedding dresses and I've heard mostly negative experiences from previous brides. Granted...most of these brides are from Atlanta. I'm big on customer service (if you can't tell from any of my other reviews). It will usually make or break an experience or steer me away from a product. They had some trouble finding my profile list in the system for the dresses I had saved, but my consultant, Katie (I think that's how she spells it!) is a little dynamite sprite of a woman.She quickly established location, preference, and price range and off we went. She'd show me a dress- ask what I liked and didn't like. After selecting a good 7 dresses we went to try them on. One particular dress Katie chose was a quirky dress that I was dying to try on (after seeing it online) more for kicks and giggles than anything else. My mom hated it. It was the second dress I tried on. At first I didn't even look in the mirror because my family and my best friend were all just sitting there- my sister was smiling, my best friend was giving me a discerning nod of approval, my mom's mouth was open, and my dad cried. I looked in the mirror and I was shocked too. This quirky, whimsical, elegant dress just worked. Just to be sure I tried on a few more. One dress everyone liked a lot because it was classical, elegant, and beautiful. But it just didn't have the same personality as the second dress. I should also mention that Katie was helping out with a couple other appointments while I was there- and I never noticed until she showed back up and apologized for helping someone else out. (I told you- she's a dynamite sprite of a woman!). The team there also seemed to really get along and work well together. The boss (at least I think she was the boss) was very observant and kind and seemed to be quick to help her consultants. I had an excellent experience as well with two of the ladies in the alterations department who gave me very practical suggestions and were very straight forward. Being analytical in nature and not wanting to base my decision on emotions, I did decide to go eat lunch with my crew and think about it- Katie made me another appointment that day to try on the dress once more, and do the David's Bridal tradition of ringing the bell. I don't know about other consultants here or other experiences- but I will 100% recommend Katie and the variety of dresses at David's Bridal. read more

I had a wonderful experience here today. When I walked in for my appointment, Emily the manager, told me that the consultants were double booked and that she would be taking care of me to start off. She was very friendly and helpful. Eventually she passed me onto my consultant. Her name was Kate. Kate was incredibly kind and a great listener. Once we pulled up my "favorites list" from the website she had a much better idea of what I was interested in. Simple, very little bling, and something that drew attention away from my large chest. She brought me the most amazing dress. As soon as I saw it on I knew it was the one. The alterations ladies were wonderful at showing me options for adding straps and/or sleeves. The folks at this Davids Bridal were incredibly attentive and I adore them! I will definitely be back if I need anything else!!!!! read more

I've had a not so great experience and a wonderful experience at this David's Bridal. I'm getting married and was looking for a simple wedding dress. I'm having a small wedding (45 people) and was not looking to spend more than $400. The first time I came was the end of January 2015 and the stylist that helped me helped me none. She pulled maybe one dress that I had on my favorites list. She also kept putting me in dresses that made me look like I was trying to hide a non-existent pregnancy. After I specifically told her I'd like to look at bridesmaid dresses for a wedding gown she was still pulling $500+ dresses. I finally just said I was done and left. I scheduled another appointment in May and I was assisted by Kirsti, she was FANTASTIC. I told her what dresses I had seen online and that I was interested in and that is what I tried on. She was helping another bride at the same time but I never felt neglected. I also appreciated her opinion as I was shopping by myself. I'm really glad I went back. Like others have said, weekends are chaotic and you absolutely should schedule an appoint before you go. That is how they know how many stylists to have working that day. read more

Instead I was spoken to as a child being reprimanded for not making an appointment. First of all, I must admit, early on in my engagement David's Bridal wasn't at all on my radar. I'd heard lots of horror stories from friends of the family about DB and I always thought it was the 'cheap' place to buy a wedding dress. It wasn't until one of my friends from work got engaged and frequently searched the DB website for ideas that I remembered it even existed. Before I went to DB, I did peruse a few other local stores and didn't really find anything wonderful. I also had a budget in mind (I really didn't want to spend over $1000 on a dress, but knew I would go a little over if I absolutely fell in love with something). I made an appointment online for a Saturday morning in Knoxville and brought my mom with me. The only slightly negative thing about my experience was that they weren't ready for me when I arrived for my appointment, but then, I was maybe 10 minutes early, and we took the time to wonder around the store. Our consultant (I wish I could remember her name!) found us 20 or so minutes later and asked me a few questions, I told her about the dresses I liked online, she brought us back to the room, and pulled a few dresses for me. I knew, as soon as I tried it on, the second dress was The One, even though it was a bit out of my price range. Never once did the woman helping me encourage the more expensive dresses and I truly felt like she was trying to find a dress I felt most comfortable wearing. I also felt like I had her entire attention and I was very pleased with my experience. I came back to DB to look for a dress for my mom on a Sunday afternoon. Whoa, was it busy! Honestly, it was an entirely different experience. Women were everywhere and we didn't have an appointment so we just looked along the wall of dresses my mom was interested in. Unfortunately, the selection wasn't great and they were too busy to assist us. Picking up my dress was very easy. I came on a weekday morning and the store was absolutely empty. If you're looking to schedule an appointment and want focused attention, that's probably your best time. Notable things about DB: 1) Even if you're ordering a dress, you have to pay for it in full. (I had incorrectly assumed this rule was only for the ready-to-go dresses in the store.) I was a little uncomfortable with this to begin with- because I think you generally get better service if the company can still get money from you. Plus, if the dress came and something was wrong with it, I wanted to have some coverage of my own. I did get over my hesitations and ordered the dress anyway. They also have the option of putting a specific amount of money down, and pay the rest later. You can also pay over the phone, but they won't order the dress until it is completely paid for. 2) Go with your gut on sizing. I'm a petite person but had recently gained a bit of weight before dress shopping. My consultant REALLY pushed for me to order a size 8 (I was still a 4 in jeans). However, I was determined to lose weight and didn't listen and ordered the size 6 anyway. LUCKILY the dress fit (and was even a little big a month before the wedding). So, my suggestion to you is to know your body before you go try on dresses. If you know you'll lose weight- then trust yourself, but know if you won't- and order a size that fits now. 3) My Melissa Sweet dress came in three weeks earlier than scheduled. 4) My dress was new. I started panicking because I started reading awful reviews about how brides ordered dresses through DB stores and when it arrived they were convinced that it was actually model-dresses from another locations that numerous women had tried on. When I picked up my dress I asked the attendant if it was new and she kind-of gave me a look that said she thought I was nuts. She let me know that any dress ordered from the designer was brand new. After looking over the dress I saw zero signs that it had been worn previously by anyone. 5) The way DB will communicate with you is through email. Use a real/active email address because this is how they'll tell you when your dress arrives. Overall Summary: The good: -I think David's Bridal does a good job at selling moderately priced dresses. -The day and time can make a huge difference in your experience and how much attention you receive. Make an appointment if you can. The bad: -Even when they were slammed it would have been nice if my mom could have tried on a dress or two, even if we couldn't have an attendant helping us. They should really keep a dressing room or two open for walk-ins. -I understood why my consultant wanted me to order the dress that fit me THAT day, but she could have been less pushy about it. I'm glad I knew I would lose weight and listened to myself. read more

My daughter is a college student and ordered a bridesmaid dress from another Davids Bridal but brought it to this location to be altered. The staff is rude obnoxious unprofessional and unorganized. On top of that the alterations were more than the dress and when she picked it up they could not find the dress. The dress arm holes are too high and too tight but the staff was so rude that she just took the dress and left. I will never purchase ANYTHING from this location and I will make sure to tell everyone I know how unprofessional and rude this staff was!!! I know I'll soon have a wedding gown to purchase and I am willing to pay more somewhere else than be treated like this again! Weddings should be fun and happy and this was awful! Obviously the comment left by Davids Bridal was a canned auto response as I have emailed and heard nothing back. The customer service just keeps getting worse! Update 7/5/17 so after several emails back and forth to " DBcares" I still have heard NOTHING! Was told several times a district manager would contact me...well a month later and I still have not heard from anyone. Obviously the response here was just to make them look better! let me start off by saying i am never someone to complain about business. i totally understand covid is making this hard for everyone, but my experience was definitely underwhelming. i'm also a plus size girl so i knew i wouldn't have many options for my prom dress. the thing i have to complain about was the staff. my stylist was not helpful at all. she kept leaving me and my friend to go eat in the back. she didn't say one word to me. i ended up finding a beautiful dress that i ordered a few days later over the phone. when i went to go pick it up, the guy in the front seemed annoyed that i was there and then left to help someone find a dress in a smaller size.i'm not saying they don't care about plus size customers, but i definitely felt that way. i hope no one else has this experience read more

I recently moved into town and made an appointment to get my dress altered. I had no idea, because I was not told, the dress had to be from DB in order to be altered. The person whom I spoke with did not mention this and set up an appointment with me. I came in and you can imagine the surprise when they asked me if the dress was a DB dress and my response was, "no? Why?" Completely confused. They had me sign a waiver stating that if anything happened they were not liable so they could work on it since no one told me they couldn't; this was fine. Why I am rating this a 1 is because the seamstress told me I had outgrown my dress and she couldn't understand who dared to let me walk out of a store with a dress that did not look good on me at all. I cried my eyes out. She told me my hips were too big and it caused creasing and dips in the fabric around my thighs, and then told me that I looked like a spilling martini glass on top (at first I didn't know how to take that comment until she continued to tell me everything else that was a "blemish" on my dress.) She continued to ask me if I was sure I liked the way the dress fit because she wasn't sure if she could alter it since she didn't carry that brand in store. I felt terrible. As a person who has recovered from an eating disorder, that was the last thing I wanted to hear - especially two months away from my wedding day. :( This entire experience has been kind of ruined. read more

I was so claustrophobic on there. The associate that was helping us, barely helped the bride because she had another appointment come in like 45 minutes after us. As soon as she had that other appointment, she didn't even care about my friend, the bride. It was so crowded you couldn't even turn around. The associates were rude if they weren't working with you or your family. I will never go back there when it comes to my wedding or to buy the bridesmaid dresses. I was on a desperate search to find the perfect dress for a last minute invitation to a black tie function. I had no other choice but to bring my two young children with me..which obviously makes things more stressful. As soon as I walked in the doors, I was warmly greeted by the staff. The store manager, Emily, was eager to help me. I explained what I had in mind, and she was quick to start pulling dresses for me. She not only tended to my needs, but also my children's . I ultimately choose a beautiful dress from the Vera Wang collection. The entire experience was relaxing and enjoyable. I have learned from past situations that people do business with people..not companies. Emily will be the reason I shop at David's Bridal for all of my special occasion dresses and accessories. My sisters and I went to Davids Bridal on Veterans Day, (11/11/17), The place was a tad chaotic and we waited 20 minutes past our appointment time to be seen because our girl was "on her lunch" We didn't mind we were wondering through the bridesmaids dresses and were selecting ones we'd like to try one. Another stylist did come over and half-joked that we should wait for our stylists so they could "do the heavy lifting" I didn't know if she was nonchantley telling us not to pull or what- but she left us alone. Emily A (7012130) came out with another girl she was training and introduced themselves. in the aspect of trying things on- they were good about clipping the dresses to us, giving an idea of what they'd look like in the correct size and talking about the fit. The bride chooses a Vera Wang bridesmaid dress that we could all agree on. The dress itself is $200, so we knew right away that some of us would be able to afford it today and some would have to go home with the style number and order online when they could. Almost immediately Ashley starts telling us- there's a 17-week hold on the dress, its custom cut, and that we had to purchase that day to get it in time for the wedding. Naturally all the stress sets in- we are going back and deciding should we get another dress, The consultant is pushing and continually telling us it's now or never for this dress. At this point, one of the bridesmaids is crying because of her finances and stressed because she doesn't want to ruin the bride's vision. Meanwhile, Emily A is watching us all scramble into tears to get this order done. Well, we get them all ordered she says we'll call as soon as we get these in- they are non-returnable and all the other jargon that goes with purchasing a gown there- Here's what I am upset about. We head home, the bridesmaids all fly home, but we had one lone bridesmaid go in to get fitted and purchase the gown today. She's told the dress will come in Dec. About 4-5 weeks. So instantly I think, what happened to this custom cut 17 weeks, pieces of information. I hop online to see that not only is my bridesmaid dress in stock (size and color) but that there's a promo code and free shipping and my dress would be here NOV 23-28th. UM WHAT?!?!? This lady saw us all scrambling freaking out and crying to get this ordered and I could've done it at home, got it quicker and CHEAPER?!?!? I know they work on commissions, but where is the ethics. She turned a nice fitting into a chaotic mess because she wanted a sale right then. How unprofessional- and she was training someone. Moral of the story- ladies if you decide to get bridesmaid dresses here (there are great choices) go ahead and check online for a promo and for the correct shipment/fulfillment information. Great place for deals! I have shopped here a few times for wedding dresses. Service is why there is only 4 stars instead of 5. Sometimes you can have a wonderful assistant with lots of experience while other days, you feel like cattle herded into tiny areas and with long wait lines. It is easier when you already have ideas of what you want and are able to go on a weekday. David's bridal does have a large selection, affordable prices, wedding tool bag and great discounts. Store an stage is outdated compared to other places though. Would definitely recommend to go in just to browse by yourself for ideas before setting an appointment. read more

I have never been so disappointed in a business. Not only the Knoxville location, but also the Johnson City location. I have never done business with David's Bridal until now and I can tell you I will never do business with them again. They are ignorant, rude, and unprofessional. I was also WAY overcharged for my alterations. They cost me more than the dress, and the dress wasn't cheap!! Both times I was in for alterations I had to argue about where my dress was and then was told mistreated by the manager because of their mistake. This company is terrible. To avoid the weekend rush, I scheduled my appointment during the week. The lady on the phone said there were no other appointments so there will be plenty of help. Unfortunately when I got there, the lady was assisting two other people and she kept running back and forth between the three of us. I had seven dresses that I had saw online and wanted to try on; they only had one of the dresses in stock. For an $800 dress, it looked cheap and poorly constructed. Wasn't impressed by the dresses or the help. You might want to avoid this place. read more

I purchased a Maid of Honor dress and was fitted for it. When it came in they offered to ship it to me, which was great. I received the dress and it is about 2 sizes too big! I have contacted them by phone but no one will ever call me back. Luckily, the wedding was put off so I have time to find a new dress but I am out $200 for a dress that I can't wear. I don't know if the measurements were entered incorrectly or were taken wrong...either way I now have a dress that is useless to me. read more

I called David's Bridal this evening after getting conflicting answers from the store and Men's Wearhouse on color coordinating the men's attire with the bridesmaid dresses. My fiance and I had been told at both places that they coordinate colors with each other so that was one last thing we would have to worry about coordinating. We went to Men's Wearhouse yesterday and were told that there wasn't a color that matched with what I had picked for the bridesmaid dresses. This had us feeling like we were back at square one and slightly stressed since we are trying to narrow down the details of our October wedding. I spoke with assistant manager, Valencia, who informed me that there is in fact a color coordinating scheme that would pair with the dresses I picked. Upon asking about alterations appointments for the bridesmaids, she informed me that they COULD be made before the dresses arrived which was the opposite of what 2 of my other bridesmaids had been told. I immediately made appointments for the 2 girls that already ordered dresses to ensure that we had something lined up. Valencia was incredibly helpful in providing me with factual information that instantly took a huge weight off of my shoulders. It is so appreciated when you interact with people who will answer the million and one questions that brides tend to have when trying to finalize details for their wedding. GREAT customer service - in person. I didn't give 5 stars because we had to change appointment times and they seemed irritated by that. Overall though a great experience and we were hesitant because of their lack of "beautiful trimmings and elegant furnishings" that are obvious in some of the other, local, bridal salons. Don't judge a book by it's cover, we purchased a gown, in our budget :), and we love it. They have an awesome staff and they know what they're doing! read more

I never like to say negative things about a business but Davids Bridal staff is deserving of a negative review. My daughter and I went looking first for a wedding dress and the staff was very rude and unprofessional. We went to White Lace and Promises for the dress and got the most professional and warm staff. And bought Wedding Dress there. Unfortunately they didn't have a MOH dress that was available for the time we needed so we went across street to give David's Bridal another try. Although they did have a gorgeous MOH dress that we purchased, the sales lady told us about her divorce and how terrible her former husband was which was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional to say the least. The shop mislead us about timing for alterations. We had get them done elsewhere. A wedding is a wonderful and stressful time anyway, you need emotional support and a caring team of sales professionals. You will not get that at David's Bridal. read more

Very disappointed in this place. It was fine when I went with my best friend and she was getting married. The second time I went here was a complete mess, and I was about to start fighting with the person that does alterations. I made an appointment to get my bridesmaid dress altered. When I showed up I brought everything but a bra because I forgot it. When I walked up to the counter they didn't even have my name down for an appointment and told me that I was mistaken. I showed them where I made an appointment and they reluctantly took me back. The head seamstress was SO rude. She was mean the whole time because of something they messed up on. Because I didn't bring a bra they put me in one of theirs, $50 I might add. After they did my alterations, $100 on a $90 dress, they told me I HAD to buy the bra. I told them it didn't fit right, and I wasn't paying $50 for a bra. They got SO angry! They were almost yelling at me telling me that my dress wouldn't fit right without it. Turns out the one in Murfreesboro did the same thing to a friend of mine. They actually slipped the bra in her bag when she wasn't looking though. I felt so bad when I left there. They called me the next day and told me I missed my appointment by the way... read more
