They wrote down the wrong date for my wedding, they were corrected twice and still it was not fixed. When my bridesmaid went to pick her dress up, they said they didn't have it and couldn't find it. After a panic attack from thinking these people somehow lost my bridesmaid's dress, apparently it was found in their "abandoned merchandise" section of their stockroom or store. I am very displeased with David's Bridal's inability to listen to the customer when taking down information vital to the event. read more

I would never recommend David's Bridal to anyone that I remotely cared about. If I could give this store a negative number of stars I would because they don't even deserve the 1 star I am required to give them. I fell in love with a dress back in November 2016. I was told by my sales person that my dress couldn't be ordered and I would have to buy the sample. The sample was a little tighter than I wanted so we met with alterations to insure that it would be let out a little bit to make it more comfortable. The alterations lady assured me that it was going to be very easy to let my dress out a small amount along the zipper and shorten the straps to the dress. So I bought the sample. 2 weeks later I find my dress can absolutely be ordered off of David's Bridals website. I was less than thrilled. I brought my dress in on Tuesday March 7th expecting the alterations to be a very smooth, easy experience. Once I put my dress on and met with the same alterations lady my very simple letting the dress out along the zipper turned into her wanting to completely reconstruct the back of my dress. Had I let her continue I'm sure my alterations would have cost me hundreds of dollars more than the actual dress cost me. As a began to voice my unwillingness to allow her to reconstruct my dress she left to get the manager. In her absence I grabbed my phone and jumped on the website only to find that my dress was STILL able to be ordered. The manager came in to "apologize that she could no longer order the dress". I stopped her mid song and dance to make her explain to me why she could somehow not get my dress but I could still order it myself off their website. Realizing that her store was caught in a lie she left to go "consult customer service". Magically my dress was able to be ordered in the larger size so I could have it tailored exactly to me. I picked up my new dress today from the store in Omaha. I had to call in and ask on the status of my dress. I was told that my dress had been in the store since the 14th but no one could be bothered to take the time to call me so I could pick it up. No one checked my ID or even took the time to check for a receipt to insure that I was the person that was supposed to be picking up the dress. Literally anyone could have walked in saying that they were me and walked off with my wedding dress. Weddings are an incredibly stressful time. I wouldn't wish the extra stress that David's Bridal has caused me on anyone. UPDATE: after going back and forth via email with "Ross" they are unwilling to do anything to rectify the situation that occurred in their store. They also are claiming that alterations were provided by the store, which never happened. What a complete waste of time. read more

The alterations department is a joke. We purchased all of my sisters bridesmaid dresses from David's Bridal. We also took her wedding dress there to be altered. The woman was unbelievably rude. First she wouldn't listen to my sister about how the dress felt. When she told her it was too long and she would step on the front, she was told not to look down. During pictures we were forced to continually lift up the front and when she walked her shoes became tangled in the netting. When she switched to flats we had to get under her dress and pin in with safety pins. What a waste of money! I also had to have my dress altered last minute. Although it was done and fit well, it was completely torn up on the inside and left marks on my sides. There was fabric hanging and it costs more than the dress itself. I don't recommend them at all. If you can afford to drive elsewhere, do so. read more

My daughter in law bought her dress there and set up an appointment for alterations. The lady on the phone was super rude and wants to charge $$$ money to have her wedding dress altered. She is very upset. The store said nothing except I am sorry! What the hell is wrong with this store. These people need to be fired so that people who care about this procedure can feel special. I am so mad. I cannot wait to calm them. My daughter bought a dress online for this wedding and it came with a broken zipper. Called the store in Pinole and thy said there is nothing they could do. Worst experience in a "boutique" I have ever had. I have left this place twice in tears. Once over my bridesmaids dresses, thinking they were not going to come in on time in my colors. That situation consisted of a consultant telling us to order from her so we can guarantee a rush order, when in all reality, we could get the dresses online in two weeks, but the consultant wouldn't get her commission that way!! The next experience happened two weeks later when I went to my alterations appt. When I purchased the dress, it almost fit perfectly. The manager told me I would just need an inch taken in on the hips, which I could see. She gave me a price of $60. I came in, the alterations woman started taking it in everywhere and suggesting I do this and that, for a total of $304. I was flabbergasted. I tried to make a payment of $100, which I confirmed that I could make partial payments before I went. Apparently that amount would not even cover to start the dress. I am at a loss and they have my dress until I can pay the full alterations. read more

The staff at Davids Bridal was great! However I will never shop there again. I bought a bridesmaid dress online. It did not fit. The difference between a 12 and 14 was about 3". Since I bought this dress online I only had 14 days FROM THE TIME IT SHIPPED to return or exchange. Are you kidding me! They still have the same dress and color available in store an online. She spent over an hour helping me try some on and off, in the end, the ones I liked the most were some that she had chosen. She was patient and cordial. She was honest and friendly. Good place to buy your wedding dress. I would NOT recommend having anything to do with their alterations department!! You want to see a bride flip out? Go to their tiny room where nobody helps you, and there are no options for altering the top of your dress. I had a horrible experience. I wanted the material saved from the bottom being hemmed...nope! They threw it away!! I went to try on my dress (after they charged me $100 and had it for 3 weeks), and nobody helped me. I closed their tiny dressing room curtains, put the dress on myself and walked around. Still nobody to help me. I was obviously upset, so I took the dress off and left in tears. Luckily I have found an amazing seamstress to help me with the rest in a timely manner!!! read more

Probably one of the nicest David's Bridal I have been into. Extremely clean and the racks were very organized. This location had a very small parking lot but since I went on a weekday evening there wasn't too much competition for traffic stalls. I really enjoyed the variety of dresses. The store could use a few more employees working. The employee we had was working with two bridesmaids, two brides and a mother of the groom dress. She was pretty stretched for time and was trying her best. Thank you for all that you did to help us!! read more

My mother and I went in to look at wedding dresses to see what I liked and the blonde lady there just told us the showroom was at the front and where the sale was BUT never told us not to touch any of the dresses in the plastic bags. When my mom and I went to look around we were in the section with all the dresses in plastic and the lady with the dark brown curly hair came and was absolutely awful and rude to us telling us we were NOT supposed to be over here and that's what a show room is for and proceeded to tell us to go to the showroom and stay away from the ones in bags. When we apologized and looked in the showroom we could hear this lady talking about us to her coworker. She continued to give us looks every time she walked by us. We wouldn't have touched the dresses in the bags if we would have known, they were not separated from all the other dresses so how were we supposed to know? I had a "Pretty Woman" moment in reverse when I went to pick up my dress. When I went in to try on dresses there were all kinds of associates all over me. I go to pick it up and no one will help me. When I finally get my dress they put me in a room in the alterations sections and just left me, but said she'd be back. I was standing in there thinking she had gone to grab something or someone when the alteration lady that was pinning another girl's dress said did you need something, really snooty like. I said she said she'd be back. Then says, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I said, "I just wanted to try it on before I left." She said well go, try it on. I said I'll need help, see rolled her eyes. I just shut the curtain and proceeded. Took me almost 15 minutes to get it on then as I get it on another girl says are you Makayla? Nope. She opens the curtain, didn't ask and I said can you zip me? It's a size too big but she acted like she was struggling to get it zipped. It's hanging off my chest and she says, looks like it fits good. I was on the verge of tears. I said "I'm NOT having it altered here." She told me if I had it altered somewhere else, they wouldn't touch it and walked away. No offer to help get me out of my dress, just walked away. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I basically stuffed my $1500 dress in the bag enough to get out of there. I got to my car and just cried. I couldn't believe what a 360 experience it was. They lost my sale of anything from this point forward or any kind of accessories because that was my plan after I tried it on to see what different necklaces and earrings looked like with my dress on. read more

Hannah was amazing! From the minute I walked into the store with my mom & bridesmaids, she made me feel comfortable and put me at ease! She was so encouraging and made me feel so special. She kept saying things like you are so prepared you know what you want which just reconfirmed for me that I did know what I want and that I was doing great as a first time bride! Buying a wedding dress is so overwhelming not to mention shopping for the bridesmaids dresses right after in back-back appointments but Hannah kept me calm and made the experience so much fun! I was so lucky because they allowed me to get on the pedestal and see my entire look~ gown, veil, and headpiece and that's when everything really came together for me and I knew this was my dress! I want to add the way Hannah asked me if the dress was my one was my absolute favorite part of the day...my bridesmaids/MOH and I were talking and they said my fiancé's name and Hannah said is he the one I said yes and then she said would you want the one to see you in this dress and that's when it hit me! I honestly couldn't have asked for a better day and Hannah played a vital role in ensuring it was successful. The only downfall I will say is we did ask if we could take pictures with the sign saying David's bridal in regular clothes and we never had a chance to...that is my fault too I was just so enjoying the day and soaking in all the love!!! read more

Went in saying I was a bride on a budget so I was pulled nothing but 1000.00 designer gowns after saying specifically I was there for the 99.00 sale. Sales woman was very nice but didn't pull anything I was looking for. Went to suburban bridal and found my dress in about 30 mins and when I said bride on a budget she pulled beautiful dresses all under 300.00. I have never been one to give bridal stores a positive feedback, after dealing with several duds, both as a bride and a bridesmaid. This store started off on the right foot when I went prom dress shopping with my daughter. However, yet again this store was a dud. When we first arrived we were overwhelmed with employees asking to assist us. Yet once we began looking they had all but disappeared. That is until one rude employee appeared out of nowhere to inform us "the store is closing in 15 minutes." She did not bother to ask us if we needed help or had any questions. When my bridesmaids had their appointment there was only one lady helping all 6 of them, while two of the employees stood by us just talking to eachother and kept telling us to get out of the way even though there was only us and one other person in there. Then we got one of my bridesmaids and Maid of Honors dresses in and they were 2 sizes too big so I spoke to the manager and she ordered them new dresses and told them that alterations would be free. So we scheduled alterations for my bridesmaid because my MOHs dress wont be in until Aug 1st (wedding is August 11th) and the manager who told us they would have free alterations doesnt work their anymore so my bridesmaid had to pay for hers. Then I go in there to get my dress after alterations and it's too small. So now I have to lose more weight to fit in it and my wedding is 3 weeks away. read more

I made an appointment at a bridal show to look at bridesmaid dresses, I already had my wedding dress. I had to go with a weekend date, because of my bridesmaids schedule. The workers there spent more time catering to prom dress shoppers who did not have an appointment than to bridesmaid dress shoppers who did. Also Prom = 1 dress = 180 dollars. Weddings = multiple dresses = 600+ dollars. I also had to have my bridesmaids share a changing room. I told them when I made the appointment I had two girls coming. Yet they did not have the room space available. The attendant I had, never said her name. Pointed out where a chart was with the dresses they have in store. And asked me for my color. All I know is I want purple. She came buy again and again pushing for me to choose a color. when I would ask about the dress. I got nothing from her. She did not help at all. read more

I went to David's Bridal to select a bridesmaid dress because the bride got her dress there. I guess I was expecting the same treatment the bride got. I was horribly disappointed. I made the appointment as recommended and pre-selected dresses, as recommended. The consultant looked at my selection, and started making x's on some of the dresses because they were discontinued in the color I wanted them. She then ran (literally ran) and started pulling dresses as fast as she could. She hung them up and said "there you go." I sort of stared at her because ummm, you need somebody else to help you zip up the dresses, do the snaps, buttons & hooks that are on the dress. I started to say "can you help me get into the dress?" she ran off. I looked at my husband and said, I guess you're nominated! he looked at me and was like, ummm okay, WTF?? I guess we were expecting the Kleinfelds experience. DO NOT bother going to David's bridal for prom dresses, bridal wear or anything else. I will NOT SET FOOT IN THAT STORE AGAIN! So I tried on 6 dresses. The first one was okay and the consultant was walking by when I was looking at it in the mirror. I asked if there was a shall or something to add to the top of it. She ran and got one for me and left just as quickly. So I tried on the 2nd dress and LOVED it! Consultant came back through and said "I liked the first one better, let me see if we can get it by the wedding" (9 weeks out). I so I tried on the 3rd dress, 4th dress--then went back to the 2nd dress. Consultant dropped by and said--yep we can get the dress. I said what about this dress, I really like it (#2). I like it better than the 1st one. She said I don't know, as if she didn't care what I thought because she wanted me in that 1st dress. I asked if they had a belt I could try with it to accentuate my waist? She ran off and got me one. So I tried that and really liked it. Then I tried on dresses #5 and #6 and kept coming back to #2. Consultant ran through again and I said, I have a winner! She said, great, meet me at the register. So we went up and guess what? The dress needs at least 12 weeks to order in. So I'm about ready to cry and asked her what my options were. She said, you don't really have any, look at these and threw (yes THREW) a book at me. At this point I was really upset. She said, you know, the 1st dress was okay. I said I guess I'm back to the drawing board and trying on dresses again. She said, you've tried on everything we have in your size (I am a size 20). That did NOT help. I went back and tried on the first dress. It will work, but I don't really like it. I felt backed into a corner because it is so close to the wedding and the color the bride wanted me in is pale yellow, which is NOT the "in" color this season. I paid $150 for that stupid dress and I am glad I only have to wear it once. I had to pay $38 for the shall + shipping charges. And after all that, the consultant told me I would have to pick it up. I live 250 miles away. She never once offered to ship it to me. Oh--plus about another $100 for rush alterations--she never took my measurements even though I had the shoes I was going to wear with me. I felt backed into a corner and couldn't' get the dress I wanted. That consultant NEVER should have pulled that dress if she couldn't get it in before the wedding. If you chose to go into David's Bridal, demand good service and WALK OUT if you don't get it. read more

I went with a group to a scheduled appointment to look at bridesmaid dresses for my best friend. The associate did the minimum in order to be helpful and wasn't remotely enthusiastic. We finished with an entire half hour left in our scheduled appointment so my friend suggested i use the time to look at a couple of wedding dresses, as I'm also getting married soon. As I'm looking, another associate comes through and explains where the sample dresses are and where the bagged variety of sizes for each sample dress are located. So i find a single dress I'd like to try on and take it to THE SAME associate that just explained the set up to me. She rudely tells me i need an appointment for myself to try on wedding gowns (even though we were still on extra time from my friend's appointment) and that i needed to put the bagged gown back and not pull anymore off the rack because they sell off the rack. As we walked out, my friend stated she would no longer even consider buying her bridesmaids dresses there (6 dresses they could have sold) after such rude customer service and i most certainly won't be going back to try on that wedding dress. read more

I did not have a good experience here. The girl helping me did not listen to anything I said I wanted, or what my budget was. She was not knowledgeable about the dresses and kept contradicting herself on the information she gave me. She was having a hard time getting me into the dresses in the TINY changing rooms so she asked me to move out to the hall where other customers (including men) could see me. Very uncomfortable. Every dress I tried on, she tried to put a veil on me. Even when I told her I didn't like the dress- like it would change my mind. It made the process 2x longer and my patience was dwindling. There isn't much of an "exclusive" feeling when you come in. They act like you're just another customer, which is not what any bride wants when they look for their wedding dress! The selection is very limited and most of the dresses are very blah. Nothing unique. And again- the TINY dressing rooms!! I could never recommend this place to anyone read more

Had an appointment that was made 1 week ago for the bridal party. We arrived 15 mins early for appointment, the shop was packed. We get our consultant Katy who showed us our dressing room & left. We shopped for dresses had one of bridesmaids trying them on another junior bridesmaids trying on in same room. But the bride & mother were going back & forth getting more dresses for each. I finally went to find " our person, Katy, to see where the mothers dresses were & she said she was busy with a bride that they book two appointments at same times & so she was too busy with the bride to help us. She pointed to the area of long dresses & short. We left. Felt like to have an appointment meant we would get some service, which meant questions answered, suggestions & assistance, however our expectations were set too high, We have since gone to other places. She kept trying to put me in these frosting type dresses and I was looking for a sheath dress. I have never been so frustrated with a retail store. I have worked in sales and customer service for the last 11 year, having said that, the staff at this location does not seem to know what their doing or care about customer's orders. I orders a bridesmaid dress and requested to have it shipped to my home 6 hours away. It was noted that shipping would be free. One CSR tried charging me for shipping. I informed that it is supposed to be free, which she replied, "Oh, I guess it was in the comments here." Next, she did not take down my correct mailing information after I repeated it to her several times. 4 weeks later, I receive a phone call stating my dress has been sitting in the store for several days and that I have 4 days to pick up my order or it will be sent back. Turns out, none my information was put properly in the system except phone my name and number. They were going to send it via USPS taking 7-10 days. I requested 2-Day shipping via UPS free of charge, a different CSR said this would be no problem due to the difficulties with my order. A family member received a phone call the very next day from the store (I'm not sure why) and told him that I would be getting my dress in not less than 7 days via USPS. He picked up my dress instead of it being mailed. This is completely unacceptable and embarrassing for this retailer. I will never be doing business with them again. read more

I have to say I was quite disappointed with the service we received last Saturday afternoon. We came and were told we needed an appt which was fine. We waited the 3 hours for our appt. We then waited another 20 minutes for anyone to help us. Finally someone came. She asked what we looking for. Told us to look around but don't remove from the rack. She brought us 3 dresses and then left. The mothers had no chairs to sit on. The bride had no help but her sister. We then had to ask for our "helper" who came finally and told us there was nothing else. I would rather travel out of state to a different bridal shop than visit David's Bridal in Omaha again. Our consultant was awful. We told her that our price cap was $1000, and every dress she brought me was over $1000. I did not like any of the dresses she brought me. She did not listen. I told her I was a size 16 and most of the dresses she brought me (because she only pulled high-priced designer styles) were 12-14. It is already difficult shopping as a plus size bride. It is even worse when your consultant consistently brings you gowns that are too small. She finally let me pull dresses myself and I found 4 that I liked in under 5 minutes all under $1000 and size 16. While I was pulling my own dresses, she would stop me and say, "Keep going past that one. That wouldn't look good on you. You wouldn't like that." How would she know?? I finally settled on a beautiful simple tea-length dress with flower appliques on the side for $250 off the rack with no alterations needed. She then led us up front, hung the dress on a hook, and left. She didn't even tell anyone to ring us up. We waited a few minutes until my mother stopped a woman and asked if she could ring us up. I love my dress, but the experience was vile. I give the customer service a 0. Support local business and find a small local bridal shop or go out of state. read more

I went to this location of David's bridal with my mom. I have never had any sort of bridal experience so I did not know what to expect. The woman (Lavon, I think) who helped me was less than thrilled to help me. I could tell she was being fake with me, and she was outwardly annoyed with me that I was trying to stay cheap. I came in to look at the 99 dollar dresses. I ended up trying some on and she was nice enough to assist and go back and forth between two dresses. She made me feel that I needed to make a decision right then. She was kind of pushy and she was rude to my mom throughout our time there. Which is uncalled for. When I told her that I needed to think about whether or not I wanted the dress she just stopped talking to us and went on with someone else. I ended up not getting my dress there and went to Lincoln and had MUCH better service there. If you want to be treated badly go to this location. Unfortunately I can't write a separate second review but when I went again to DB for the sale on bridesmaids dresses the woman who helped me and my two bridesmaids was totally uninterested in us. She kept going to help other people who were obviously spending more money than we were. When I told her that I was just buying off the rack she told me that I would t be able to have matching dresses then. She never asked me anything personal about the wedding or theme. She did not help my bridesmaids with their dresses either. I did end up finding their dresses. I am so mad that that attendant made money off of me. She didn't deserve it because she was rude and not helpful At all. If there hadn't been the sale I would have told the lady to go screw herself. You'd think that customer service would be important to these people especially because a wedding is a big deal to the brides and they don't deserve to have crappy service. I will never go back there and I will warn everyone against going to this location. read more

my experience has been hit and miss here, but my last visit for bridesmaids dresses was great. My consultant was nikki brown and I would highly recommend her. She is very friendly and funny and knows what she is doing there. You can tell she enjoys her job. While waiting for my bridesmaid to come out of the dressing room I was pushed out of the way by another consultant with no excuse me or anything. Yes they were busy but Nikki made sure we were taken care of even when she was being called for other things. She wasn't rude at all with how busy she was. I hope to have her for the rest of my visits there before my wedding. they do have a great selection of dresses and I am very pleased with the dresses we got so far. read more

My mom and I came here looking for a prom dress and the sales associates were so rude to us! I picked up a couple dresses and one sales associate grabbed them from my hands and said "I'll take you to the fitting room now" I said she could take the dresses but I'd still like to look around and she stormed off and found my mom and said she didn't want me looking at dresses anymore. My mom repeated what I had said and she stormed off again! So I started looking at another rack of dresses and another sales associate borderline yelled at me and told me I had to go back to the fitting room. I told her I would go back when I was ready and she also went to my Mom and told her that I wasn't supposed to be looking around anymore. My mom said I was still looking at options and that we would try on the dresses when we were ready. She literally responded "well you'd better not pick up anymore dresses". It was so rude and ridiculous. You don't have to have an appointment to look at prom dresses at this store so it wasn't like there was a schedule. Also the only other customer there was not even close to my size so it wasn't like I was taking all the dresses from other customers. In addition to those remarks every single thing they said to us was rude and bossy. read more

I walked in for a wedding dress appointment and a brides maid appointment with my maid of honor and were greeted us upon arriving. They took my name and stated that our consultant would be with us shortly. Libby came over and introduced herself, she was very pleasant and polite the entire time. I was nervous to do this as the past experience I had wasn't pleasant. Libby made me feel as if she was just another friend helping me find the perfect dress. We tried on a few styles and found what I liked best. She made sure to make allow me to voice my likes and dislikes and go from there. We found two beautiful dresses, I explained that I wanted a touch of pink to the dresses for my mom. She helped make those dresses everything I wanted. I would definitely recommend her for any bride looking to get an amazing person to help pick out your wedding dress. awful! my attendant was terrible! first i did not know my dress size, as i dont wear dresses often and i have a very large chest. She actuallly asked what my pants size was and i had to explain to her that that was irrelevant. Then she had me look through a book and pick out some dresses. She took my book to go look for those dresses only to return empty handed because the store did not have any of those dresses. So i told her to find something similiar to those dresses. I began trying them on and during my fitting she left! my friend actually had to help me pin several of the dresses so i could see how they looked. We finally decided on one and it was great!! But when she went to put in the order she realized that it only went to size 16 and i needed size 18. I MEAN REALLLLLY how do you give someone a dress to try on that will not work for them, one that does not come in their size (by now she knew my size). I was pretty ticked off but chose my second choice and ordered the dress which was due to arrive in 10 to 12 weeks i was told. We arranged my fitting for 13 weeks later. Then i was called 5 weeks later and told that my dress had arrived early and that i needed to pick it up. If i did not pick it up, it would be returned. I live an hour and a half from this store!! They did agree to mail my dress to me for $15. this was a horrible experience and if i was able to spend more time on finding a dress ( i had a friend come in to town to shop with me) then i would have certainly not purchased my dress from this store.
