Since it was my husband's birthday we decided to shop for a sport coat and a pair of pants. We left with a nice sports coat, several pairs of pants, a few shirts and a very nice pair of men's leather shoes. This is not normal for us. We don't shop for him very often. The best part was it didn't take very long. The staff was very friendly and helpful. While one person was grabbing sizes and options for him I sat at a chair and table near the register. The other staff very friendly and joked with me while I was waiting to see what he tried on . With their help he found all his shirts from the clearance section which was great. Then I said I wish he could try on the pinned up pants with a pair of shoes. They had us wait a minute and brought out his size shoe that was on clearance for $50.00! We would have bought these shoes even if they would have been much more they were comfortable and high quality. He picked up the clothes that needed altering (they were ready in just a few days) and I can't wait to see him in them If you are looking for some good quality, stylish clothes for a reasonable price I recommend stopping by. Ps. I asked them to bring out all the clearance shoes in his size because the first ones they showed us were so great. The others I could understand why they were on sale which made the ones we did get feel even more like a bargain. I had no idea they even sold men's shoes. I went to the Men's Warehouse to purchase a suit. I was in the store a good 15-20 minutes and not one sales person pounced on me which was surprising. Usually you can barely walk into a Men's Warehouse and as soon as you walk in they greet you and measure you for size. Actually, I found a sports coat and slacks and went to the dressing rooms without assistance. Normally someone is with you in hopes they make a sale. Found what I was looking for suit separate (coat/slacks) and then checked out. The salesman at the cash register was nice and helpful. I would have rated the store higher but I could not get assistance when I needed it. Overall an ok experience in my opinion. Not good and not bad. read more

Short update: We did get the suits in time. Longer update: We got my suit because a friend of my sister camped out in front of the store until the manager answered the door. The manager was - thankfully - very responsive and my dad was able to get in, get his final tailoring, and get his suit on time. In the meantime, another friend reached out to the local managers for Men's Wearhouse via connections she had. The manager of the Council Bluffs location responded and helped us by trying to get in contact with this location's manager. Unfortunately, she didn't reach out to us before we'd already gotten my suit, but she was in person rather helpful. That said, even though we got our suits, I can't really update my rating. The tone deaf responses that I got from Men's Wearhouse's email and phone lines have left me unimpressed. They literally starting responded to my emails the day after my sister's wedding. Unless I get the impression that they've put into place policies that won't cut off their customer service communication, I'm not sure I'll be back. It's really too bad too. I've been given the impression that the local manager's hands were tied by decisions higher up the chain. I genuinely had no problems with them until COVID-19 hit, but who stops responding to emails and phone calls? They're literally the definition of distance communication. read more

So my review is for everyone outside of Greg, he is a 5 star associate. I came in trying to buy my nephew a suit for his fathers funeral. During that time I was helped by more then four different people and they all were talking in front of us about not helping and who should. In addition, when checking out my conversation with the person checking us out was interrupted twice by a young associate. This was by far the most rude and unprofessional experience. This place gets the full stars for service during a recent household crisis. In a panic because somehow we had forgotten to pack any suit coats, my husband went to this store on the day before his new job started. Not exactly an off-the-rack kind of guy, my husband was able to get a nice herringbone jacket tailored the same day. It was Sunday!!!! Yay, Antonio, the tailor!!! I went later this week to get him socks, a belt, some silk tee shirts and a casual dress shirt, and thanked those nice salesmen who got my butt out of trouble. This is one of those reviews I just HAVE to write... You know what I mean - you've been wowed. You wonder just how awesome life would be if every experience could be this good. We spent the afternoon looking for a sport coat. Something casual, not too dressy, but definitely a step up from my normal super casual khaki and polo wardrobe. We visited about ten men's clothing stores. People were helpful and friendly. We were shown some decent jackets. There were good sales. etc. No place was bad. Then we walked into the door at the Men's Warehouse on Dodge. Wow! We were met at the door by a nice young man who discussed what sort of jacket we were looking for and then handed us off to Gregory the manager. It's immediately clear why Greg is the manager. He has perfected his art. Yes, I mean perfected and yes I mean art - you should see him in action. Within minutes, he had distilled my generic mumblings about "casual but nice" and "maybe a tweed" into my exact desires and requirements. From these, he produced several excellent options, offered us sage advice and taught us of new interesting options (they have a huge selection and a wide variety of sizes). His breadth of knowledge and his pleasant, helpful demeanor made our whole experience at Men's Warehouse an absolute pleasure. But we wanted to shop around a bit more... You know, you're supposed to shop around quite a bit before you make a big purchase. We needn't have bothered. Within minutes of leaving we decided that we should just go back and make our purchase with Greg. They had good pricing and had a great sale, so we ended up with two jackets. Now, I'm normally, totally a "buyer's remorse" guy. I don't like to spend money on myself - and normally I agonize over purchases. I'm not feeling any remorse tonight. Purchased two suits, one custom and the other just tailored due to a need to have it ready for a job interview. Initial experience was very positive, helpful staff member and picked out two Joseph Abboud suits that I liked in a relatively quick time frame. My only concern was the sizing seemed quick. Once it came in, went to get measured for tailored suit and waited a very long time because they could not find it. They did eventually find it and comped the alterations which was fine. Jacket was wrong size so could only alter pants. Went again to try on tailored suit after jacket delivered from out of town, it needed to be altered so then came back later to tailor it (3rd visit with 35 min drive each way). Came back to pickup suit which was done early! Happy with fit, gave me a plastic sack to take it home in which was disappointing. Appreciate getting it done fast and feel it helped give confidence during interview. Custom fitted suit arrived, waist was too large and sleeves of jacket too long which was stated as unusual by person helping me. Got measured for alterations. He was very pleasant and helpful. Returned to pick up custom suit, person who helped me was very rushed despite having zero customers as soon as he learned I only wanted to pickup. Did not bring me dress shoes and gave it to me dirty and unpressed which is how I took it home. Stated, looks good, you can change within 2 seconds of my stepping in front of mirror to try on for first time. Complete failure for custom service. Too many trips (6) with inaccurate sizing and unprofessional service. DO NOT waste your time here, go elsewhere. Two stars are for mostly pleasant service and for them making mistakes right after the fact. New management is trying but has a LONG way to go. read more

Joel and this Men's Wearhouse went above and beyond to make sure I had a nice properly fitted suit, even when there was some miscommunication that was absolutely not their fault. I gave this location 3 stars for a few reasons. First, if my husband and I are together shopping or it is just my husband, they always WOW us with their customer service and ease of building his wardrobe. However... My husband asked me to return a few shirts he got (French cuffs not his normal button cuffs) and pick out replacements. I'm not sure if it was because I was in a pair of jeans with a sweatshirt and a ponytail this trip or because I'm not male, but I was treated VERY rudely. I was told "the shirts are over in that area", where the associate then pointed then left to take care of another customer (male). With all of the different sizes/styles I just kind of picked out a few and took them up front to pay for them. The associate that had ditched me came up only long enough to ring me up. Didn't say thank you or anything and literally went right back to the other customer. I felt very slighted. Which was probably a big mistake on their part. I typically never leave that store without spending at least $2,000/trip. That time though, I picked up 3 shirts and that was it. Sad for them too. It was going to be my Christmas trip for the husband's gifts. Too bad. Next time, don't judge a book by the cover. I was in jeans and a sweatshirt that day, but it was my day off. I thought I'd leave the 3-piece at home. Apparently, that was my mistake. read more

Merek was simply awesome...amazing patience for an indecisive novice suit buyer. He acted as if he didn't mind me trying and re-trying on a gazillion jackets. Had a fantastic experience getting fitted for a suit today. Didn't have a lot of time but they got me through the entire process in just under 20 minutes. Warm atmosphere, I never felt uncomfortable and the fun banter between staff and customers made it seem like they really enjoyed their jobs. Thank you to Carrie who helped me out this past weekend as I was getting ready for a last-minute pick-up for a wedding I was in. I am from out of town and it was refreshing to have such great service in an unfamiliar place, despite it being a chain store. She was understanding and took the time to sort out the details, which had been mixed up at my store back home. She took care of the pressing and double-checked my shirt as well, rather than simply giving me the order and moving on the next customer. They are measured, shown a selection of options, and can meet with a tailor if needed. The prices for quality merchadise are reasonable. I love this store. My Partner got a Christmas gift from here. Unfortunately, he didn't like it and it wasn't the right size. We brought it back here to exchange and the guys who were working were so helpful and nice. I went here to get a suit for me. I was helped by one of their staff who was very patient in helping me select my suit. I selected my suit and when I went there after a week to get it the tailoring was bad. I had to go back again in a week and still the tailoring was bad and the tailor kept telling me that its how the jacket would fit me and that its not her fault. I was very disappointed but I took the suit to the other Menswearhouse and the manager there was very helpful and told me that he's going to get another jacket and have it tailored for my fit. But there was a tailor who was pretty young and seemed to know what she was doing. She had tailored another suit for me already and she knew what I wanted. She actually fixed the suit which was messed by the tailor in the Dodge street showroom. I went to the dodge showroom to get a refund of my tailoring fee since I was made to revisit the place more than 4 times or so without a solution and then the fix was done by someone else other than that showroom. The manager instead of apologizing argued with me that they were not at fault and I should reconsider getting a refund. But he refunded me with a not so happy face and didn't even look me in the eye, it made me very mad but I am glad I got things resolved. *************** I forgot to post this and it was in my drafts for a year now.. Both myself and a friend were without key accessories for the wedding that was to take place 1 hour away. Joel and his team were quick to assist us with all products. Sales staff was very helpful. The store manager was a total jerk, unprofessional and rude. When there was a problem locating an altered suit, he chose to play on his computer and make nasty comments to me rather than help search. The suit was not ready on the day promised so this was the second trip I had made to the store in addition to the day of purchase. He was so unconcerned about customer satisfaction that of course, there was no apology from him for the delay. The salesperson did apologize for the inconvenience. read more

When we went back to get our suits tailored, the man that was working, Greg, did not want to help us. He told us that we would have to come back when Josh was working. I am from out of town, I called an specifically asked if the had Jockey crew neck undershirts XL, and the XLT which means they are longer and won't untuck, the person on the phone said they had 4 packs. I drove 20 minutes out of my way, specifically for those shirts. When I arrived I could not find them, I was asked if I needed any help, I said I had called and what I needed. The salesman seemed totally not interested, and informed me they are phasing out the jockey line and they did not have the shirt I wanted. I told him I called and talked to someone, he asked a few other guys no one said I talked to them, it was no more than 25 minutes later than I spoke with someone and when I arrived. He almost acted like I was fabricating my story so I pulled out my phone and read the phone number and showed where I called. I told the man it was a total waste of my time. He then proceeded to try and sell me a $43.00 white undershirt, only 1 shirt in the pack, made by Tommy John, and then couldn't even tell me why it was worth that much. I just walked out, thanks for wasting my time Men's Warehouse, you shouldn't BS your faithful and good customers, why would someone pay over $40 for 1 undershirt. read more

Like the previous reviews have said, the folks here at Men's Wearhouse on Dodge are superb. They combine the sincere, professional salesperson who is knowledgeable about their products and styles with personality and customer service that is over the top. One individual in particular not only exemplified all of those characteristics, she epitomizes and defines what excellent customer service - Tom Peters should do a book on her. She is Danessa Hemmer and she and her co-workers clearly love what they do. I have been to several Men's Wearhouse's over the last year and with the exception of one visit all the others were to buy a shirt, tie, jacket and pants as I either forgot to pack them, my luggage was lost on connecting flights, or I had to change my travel plans due to airline flight cancellations that did not allow me to return home and pack accordingly for the next trip. The store in Utica, New York had a 6 week wait for tailoring the pants, the one in Des Moines could have cared less if I had walked in (I was looking for a certain brand of shirt that fit me well and their response was we don't carry them and by the way the button down collar is no longer in style). The only other store I have been to that comes close to the one in Omaha is the one in Columbus, Ohio in or near the Polaris shopping mall. If you are in need of quality clothing and like excellent customer service then you must go to Men's Warehouse on Dodge in Omaha! read more
