I am extremely disappointed with my experience at David's Bridal and feel compelled to warn other customers before they make a significant purchase here. I purchased a dress for approximately $2,300. At the time of purchase, I was not clearly informed that any amount over $1,500 would be non-refundable under the store's return policy. In fact, after my experience, the store has since added signage clarifying this policy, which strongly suggests the information was not adequately disclosed beforehand. Only seven days after placing the order -- and well before the dress had even arrived in-store, as it was not expected for another two months -- I returned to request a cancellation. Rather than attempting to help resolve the situation, the manager and staff dismissed my concerns and told me there was "nothing that could be done." A few weeks later, after unsuccessfully attempting to dispute the charge with my bank, I contacted customer support. I was informed that the store could potentially have assisted me had they contacted corporate sooner, which I was never advised to do by store staff. Customer support opened a case number and instructed me to return to the store because they believed the cancellation should still be possible. When I returned, I was again treated dismissively and unprofessionally by the staff. I then contacted customer support a second time and reported the interaction. At that point, I was assured the dress would not be shipped while the matter was under review and that updates would be added to my case. After waiting another week with no resolution, I called again and was told corporate would become involved within approximately one week. After waiting yet another week and a half, I discovered the dress had been shipped despite previous assurances that it would not be. I contacted customer support once more and was promised a callback. Although I did eventually receive a return call, I was ultimately told that regardless of the circumstances, the store would stand behind the return policy -- despite the fact that I had attempted to cancel the order long before taking possession of the dress. Beyond the financial frustration, the most disappointing aspect of this experience was the lack of professionalism, empathy, and respect shown throughout the process. What should have been a joyful and memorable experience surrounding a special occasion was instead turned into a stressful and deeply unpleasant memory because of how I was treated by David's Bridal staff and customer service. Customers making major purchases deserve transparency, compassion, and courteous treatment, none of which I received here. I strongly encourage others to consider shopping at local boutiques instead, where pricing is often more reasonable, product quality is comparable or better, and customer service is far more respectful and attentive. read more

This year, it is my best friend's turn to walk down the aisle and as she is shopping on a budget, we decided to try David's Bridal - BIG MISTAKE. Teresa (the saleswoman) seemed outright mad when I and the other bridesmaids voiced our opinion or made our own dress selections in an attempt to find more garments that were the bride's taste. Teresa demanded, "Where did these dresses come from? I didn't select these!" And chastised us for selecting dresses that she didn't approve of first. First problem. She proceeds to tell my friend (as she is trying on only her second dress) that "You need to decide a style now or we are just wasting our time because we will be here all night. You need to tell me "yes" or "no" so that I can put this back on the rack." Are you serious?!!! To avoid further confrontation, my friend made some quick dress decisions that she wasn't even sure about just to get Teresa to stop hounding her. Second Problem. My friend like many brides is shopping on a budget and is immediately upfront with Teresa about this. And I quote. My friend: "I'm working with a budget of about $500 for my dress, I really would like to stay under this." Teresa (Sales bitch from hell): "Well that sort of thing doesn't really matter, it's all about the dress as you know and it doesn't matter how much it costs." This money hungry sales lady is obviously working off of commission and continues to push the most expensive dresses on her. Third Problem. Teresa proceeds to have my friend try on a David's Bridal "designer" dress that is outside of her budget by some guy who isn't even alive and designing anymore but David's Bridal is releasing dresses under his name. Teresa goes on to say that he designed for Jackie Kennedy, do you girls even know who that is?! Like we are infants. Fourth Problem. I simply can't hold my tongue anymore. My friend is up there on her dressing stage trying to fake that she is having fun while she is really just getting more and more depressed. This is supposed to be light and fun and a very positive experience! I finally had to step in and tell the lady that from then on out, she would not be telling the bride that she has to make another single decision and that she (Teresa) was not allowed in her (the bride) fitting room because I would be taking over her duties for her. I am posting this because my friend is too embarrassed to and as a warning to other new brides - because no one should have to be treated like that, especially not when they are preparing for the biggest day of their life. I had started off my search for the perfect dress at a few other local bridal salons and David's was (thankfully) my last stop :) My family (which included Mom, Grammy, my sister/MOH and my two brothers) came with me as moral support. It was a little busy for a Sunday, but it wasn't too crazy. We were helped by Bailey and she went above and beyond everything that I had expected!! The other salons I had been to just pulled dresses that were 4 sizes too big and didn't really understand what I was looking for and didn't really listen to me.. Bailey pulled my dress the first time and it had everything I wanted as my dress. She started pulling belts and veils that could go with the dress and we found the perfect belt and veil combo. The lace on the veil even match the lace on my dress PERFECTLY! She even pulled a few other silhouettes for me to try just to be sure I had the dress I wanted. She was so sweet and understanding and excited as I was to try on dresses. If there was something I was unsure about or if I had any questions she was open to telling me what she thought and answered my questions easily. I am not ashamed to say that I cried after I put my dress on again ;) She even helped my sister find her MOH dress that not only I loved, but she loved! At first I was unsure about David's Bridal because of all the "horror stories" I've heard, but I had the most amazing experience there! To start off, I was really wary of going to a chain bridal salon. But my consultant Jessie changed everything! I I had actually tried on a few dresses the week leading up to my appointment, and had basically already chosen another dress I had found at a consignment shop. When we started my appointment, Jessie set me up right away with beautiful dresses, listening really carefully to what I liked and wanted to try on - also taking into account what she know would be flattering for me. Jessie was also full of wisdom and insight when it came to trying things on, especially with other people expressing opinions. They were all beautiful, but because I had my heart set on that one dress, I wasn't satisfied. She asked me if I had a picture of that dress, and she instantly recognized it was a David's Bridal dress that she had in the back on sale! She got it right away, I tried it on, and we all knew. I found my dream dress, brand new for only $40 more than the consignment dress, within 45 minutes. I ended up cancelling all of my other bridal appointments that day. I can't recommend Jessie enough. You can tell she loves her job, cares about you, and knows what she's doing. The dresses were very fairly priced, and I actually believe my dress is worth even more than I paid for it. You also receive a lot of extra benefits when you buy a dress from David's Bridal. At least for the Spokane Valley David's Bridal, I am very happy with them! read more

On April 1st, I was scheduled at 3 stores to begin my journey to find my wedding dress. David's Bridal was my 1st stop... Alicia was my associate and was quick to let me know she was working with 2 brides as they were short staffed, but was hands down amazing! She listened to my vision, asked me to find 3 dresses I wanted to look at while she chose a few as well... the 1st dress she had me put on was her choice and it was the dress I returned to at the end of the day! Alicia was absolutely incredible at putting together the while look, from the veil to the jewelry... everything went together perfectly from the start! I also want to give my praise to the manager, Bailey... as Alicia was fitting her other bride, Bailey noticed I was ready to head back to the fitting room and came and asked if it would be OK if she helped me both ladies asked me to share my story and gave the most wonderful bridal moment! After a long day of 2 more bridal stores, I returned and asked to try it on one more time... this was it!!! I couldn't have envisioned a better experience than these two lovely gals gave me. Thank you for your kindness, for listening to every detail I wanted, and putting together the the vision I had for myself as a bride. I purchased my wedding dress in October of 2015 from David's Bridal and when it came time to get my dress altered (March of 2016), I put my dress on and it didn't fit. Worst nightmare ever. I was advised to order a size down in order to compensate for the lace up back I wanted to add to the dress. Long story short, I had a small panic attack after I couldn't get my dress altered to fit and called David's Bridal in Spokane about 7 times within a 2 hour period (Thanks Lexi for being so understanding) trying to figure out what to do. I was able to get an appointment the next day to come in and do a size exchange. I wasn't able to order the dress I had purchased because it was a special order item I wouldn't receive until August (my wedding is in June) so I tried on a couple of dresses. I actually ending up trying on the very first dress I had ever tried on and fell in love with it. I felt way more confident compared to my original dress, so I felt like that happened for a reason. I live out of town so Casandra was able to do my fitting the same day which was awesome. On both of my trips to David's Bridal I had Alycia and Bailey help me and they are wonderful. They made me feel comfortable and gave me the "bridal" experience both times. They made the appointments fun and also helped my bridesmaids pick out their dresses. I am 26 and getting married in October and I was planning on wearing my mother's dress as it fits me quite well. However she took some photos for the seamstress and after looking at them, decided the dress didn't "look like me" and that I was lost in it. So she and my mother-in-law to be made a day of it and we went out to lunch and then to David's Bridal. Walking into the store I didn't expect to find anything in our price range. It is huge with rows of mirrors all over the fitting rooms... lots of displays, very posh. However we found a sections with dresses which are less "poufy" - something I've never liked anyway - and I tried on three. We had no appointment, ( I didn't even know you could make an appointment,) but Bailey our style consultant was very nice and fun; she complemented how I looked in the dresses, and she was very helpful. I ended up with two dresses, one for the ceremony and one for the reception, a strapless bra, and a headband, all for about $750 - way less than I though they would cost. I made an appointment for alterations in early August, and I may go back to get a veil as there was one I particularly liked. All in all I couldn't have had a better shopping experience! I feel like the dresses are so much better than I expected, and Bailey gave me a big hug before we left. Everyone later commented on how much fun it was. read more

I came to David's Bridal to shop for my wedding dress and was assigned to Caitlyn. And she was AMAZING. She really listened to me and what style I was going for. She picked sizes and styles that really flattered my body. When I got down to the two dresses I was trying to pick from she made it easy for me by bringing out vales and jewelry to complete my look. I shared my dress experience with a large group of family and friends and they were able to accommodate us and make sure the moment was special. I also loved the way they "ring the bell" to celebrate the beginning of your marriage. It was truly special and I cant wait to go back and finish my alterations to my dress. I would definitely recommend David's Bridal. On that note - there was only one thing that I didn't like. When I asked to speak to Caitlyn's manager to let them know how amazing she was - they acted like they didn't care. I feel like costumer input, not matter now petty you think it is, is huge. I think that the management there needs to work on making sure their employees know how amazing they are and deserve a pat on the back if a customer, and her party of 12 who bought 7 bridesmaid dresses and a wedding dress, know they did an amazing job. I bought the perfect dress, under garments and I brought in my fiance's Best Woman to pick her dress. Carin helped me the night I picked my dress and she worked hard to listen to what I was looking for and it turned out between us I know I am going to feel like the Good Witch in my Wizard of Oz wedding. For my Best Woman, Pleatha was simply amazing. Not only did she make suggestions for my friend and help her feel beautiful, she did it with grace and poise while trying to help other customers, even when we watched a mother of a bride rip into her for not paying enough attention to her customer. The mother was rude and mean. Pleatha was nothing but kind, caring and seemed to be running from customer to customer, which every one of the jovial consultants on this Saturday seemed to be doing. I realize this is a stressful purchase and I did go to the other shops in town, but their prices and stuffy attitudes were very off putting to me when I started looking. I am very happy with my service, my gown, my purchases, and can't wait to shine in my beautiful dress, with my beautiful friends. read more

I was worried about going to David's Bridal to get my bridesmaid dresses because I was worried I would be on my own without much help but holy smokes was I wrong. I have been in two times already with different groups of bridesmaids and have two more appointments set up next week and the service and help they offered me and my wedding party was truly incredible. We worked closely with Bailey who could not have been more fun, perfect and helpful. She was completely 100% honest about how much the dresses would be after alterations, which fabrics looked good on different body times (the bridesmaids ranged from Junior Bridesmaid to size 26), and sat down with me for hours helping me get the exact right fabrics, colors, and styles that I wanted. Because of her my wedding party looks and feels absolutely FABULOUS and everyone (including me) is so pleased with the dresses. I would recommend David's Bridal to all of my closest friends. My mom and I had an appointment with Courtney this morning for my second bridal dress try-ons (my first one with David's Bridal) and I was super impressed! My first appointment was at a local shop in town yesterday and it was just lackluster. I was blown away by the level of attention from the sales associates AND by the beautiful dresses at reasonable prices. Courtney was so knowledgeable, helpful, kind and PATIENT. Since it was only my second time trying on dresses, I really didn't know what I wanted. She and another amazing sales associate, Betty, helped me through 3 hours of trying on different styles and silhouettes of dresses in addition to veils, shoes, and belts. I can be pretty indecisive, and not once did I feel rushed or like I was wasting anyone's time. With Courtney and Betty's help, I was able to narrow down the dresses to two favorites, and I already have an appointment set up in two weeks to come back with my best friend so she can help me decide :) read more

This trip coul not have been any better!!! To start, this was a source of the moment trip from Missoula with my maid of honor. They were able to get us a appointment at 6pm that day which was perfect. We arrived about 1.5 hours early and just looked around and gathered the dresses I liked. I knew the style I wanted but was willing to try more. When it was time for my appt, Charlotte was my consultant and SHE MADE THIS THE BEST EXPERIENCE!!! She was very attentive to what I wanted. Being a plus size bride can make shopping stressful but she made it so fun and easy!!! She even picked a dress out for me and that was the one I bought and took home! She danced with us and she even tried on a bridesmaid dress with my moh so I could see the color side by side. I really appreciated all of her input and would highly recommend asking for Charlotte if you want to have fun while looking for the dress! Ryan, Courtney, Charlotte & Carley are ALL gems. Without their commit and top notch customer service, I would have been lost. I am on a tight budget for my wedding and was a bit embarrassed to say my price range, as the minimum cost for dresses at other places was much steeper than I am able to pay. But, I had no reason to worry! Bailey was my consultant and she found many beautiful dresses within my price-range and was so kind and helpful! She was excited for me and made me feel so special! I went back to the store this weekend to buy my dress, and when she had a free moment, Bailey made sure to come over and say hello to me even though it was bustling! I would recommend David's Bridal to any of my friends! Of course, Bailey was my favorite, but all the other staff seemed helpful and friendly. (Like any other store, they're a lot less busy during odd weekday hours. I went at 2 on a Thursday and I had the whole store to myself! I had Cambree as my bridal consultant. She made the day perfect for me and my family. She listened to exactly what I wanted, and used those to suggest some dresses I would have NEVER picked out on my own. I ended up loving the dress and buying it! And during the whole appointment, she never left my side (except to go get a different size or different accessory). While I was trying on wedding dresses, her manager was finding dresses for my briedesmaids to try on. We ended up ordering them same day as well! After I found my dress, Cambree knew how much I wanted a lace up and was able to have my dress altered to take out the zipper and add the lace up back. I didn't even know that was an option, but she was on my side throughout the whole experience. David's Bridals service has come a long way in the last couple of years, and it was so much better than the experiences I had at other bridal shops. read more

I had been in once before looking for bridesmaids dresses, and I wasn't very impressed with the service I received the first time. The stylist who was helping our group was snooty and seemed irritated when I asked questions. However, I went back yesterday to get my last bridesmaid fitted and we were able to find a dress right away! When it came to ordering all the dresses, there were issues with what colors were available in the dresses I wanted. But with the WONDERFUL help of the amazing Jessie (the stylist who helped us), we got it all figured out! Jessie took the time to help me play with available colors using all the dresses I had picked out that looked well together and stayed within the color scheme I wanted, and she also double checked to make sure all the dresses would be here on time! If this store had more people like Jessie, they'd be a 5-star! read more

I recently went shopping with my mom for my wedding dress. I did not have to make an appointment, which was great! They put my name on the list and directed us to Mckenna, our stylist. I tried on a couple dresses I thought I would like while Mckenna was helping someone else. I did not like any of the ones I picked out for myself. Once Mckenna came to help it was so much better! She knew all the right questions to ask and then went to grab several choices off the rack in the budget we gave her. I was so comfortable with her while she helped me into the dresses, and you could tell she was really excited about how excited I was! I ended up getting the first dress she picked for me to try on and I absolutely love it! If you plan to shop at David's Bridal for your wedding dress, I would suggest making an appointment and ask for McKenna! She was amazing! read more

My mom and I came to David's Bridal to shop for my wedding dress. Our consultant, Lindsay, was absolutely fantastic. She encouraged me to try some dresses in different shapes that I would not have tried otherwise, suggested special garments to add a little umph to a couple of dresses, and was very knowledgeable about how dresses would need to be altered to get the fit I wanted. Lindsay was extremely professional, but her personality also made what I imagine could be a stressful process fun! This was the first place we had looked, so I was not ready to buy anything (even though Lindsay found a dress I loved), but I did not feel overly pressured to make a purchase. In short, Lindsay was a wonderful consultant, and I would highly recommend that anyone shopping for a wedding dress in the Spokane area make an appointment with her. read more

I'm getting married next September and I'm a HUGE planner so of course I had to find my dress right away. I went in June with an appointment with Ryan Leinen. Of course I've never tried on a wedding dress before but was willing to try anything on. Ryan was SO attentive to my wants and my vision. She made it all about me and make sure it was my overall approval on the dress and not my party of ladies that joined me. After trying on a handful of dresses I found THEE one. Ryan let me try on veils and let me take the time I needed to fall more in love with my dress. Even though I have never had another wedding dress stylist I can hands down say that Ryan is my favorite. She's simply amazing! Since then I have been back a handful of times to get bridesmaids dresses and such. Every time she is such a pleasure to be around! read more
