We got the location thru a fundraiser in Oct of 2019. They offered in the package with a value of $4000. A 6 hour segment of time for our event. Well during the life auction there was no mention of it only be able to use it Jan-April. And all Saturday's were excluded. Well we thought this would be great when we bid on it for our rehearsal dinner next year July. Not knowing pretty much most of the year was blacked out. So we bid and won. For a decent amount close to the value. We contacted the venue to book because our day would be a Thursday we hoped he would consider. We mentioned we had no idea about the black out dates till we got our certificate a day later. But he wasn't willing to work with us. He said contact me in 2020 a month before your date we will see if it's still open it's yours. Well due to covid we thought now it might be available. We are in phase 2 and they are aloud to seat people up to 5 a table, tables 6 feet apart. We would need 12 tables. He said no, he won't do it. He donated this without any intention of really following up to it. So really his donation is bogus. We are willing to be flexible due to the times we are in and our event isn't till middle of July. Hopefully we will be in phase 3 by then. Even tho with some ingenuity it possible to make it work. But not Bob he won't. I don't believe he ever meant to fulfill his offer he donated read more

We had our wedding here and it was very good! They helped with coordinating everything for our wedding (it was easy to email them to ask questions and do changes). The day of the wedding it was so smooth! They told us ahead of time what and when we would be doing. Having someone run your entire day at the venue is a wonderful thing to have! Any problems I think we had we ended up fixing pretty easily. They also have great connections to a string quartet from the Spokane Symphony which we had play during the ceremony and cocktail hour. It was a great touch! The inside and outside is beautiful and easy for either inside or outside ceremony. We ended up using the inside, building an arbor against the window, since the weather was iffy in the days leading up to our wedding. Beautiful wood work, vintage feel, and creates a really close and intimate ceremony space. Our guests loved it! So much better than a boring hotel ballroom! You really don't need to decorate, but I did anyways since I wanted to bring nature inside the mansion through decor. We had a great time using them and for an all inclusive venue (food, venue, bar, etc.) they were really reasonably priced! read more

The Glover was an amazing venue. The mansion itself is beautiful. We added a few extra decorations and it just made the whole place come alive. One of my friends posted that they were attending a wedding at Downton Abbey, and it does feel that luxurious. The staff was amazing. Kelsee worked with me in person and via email. She managed to find times to show me the mansion on short notice when I was visiting town. Brittany was my day of coordinator. I was honestly nervous about having someone I hadn't met be my day of coordinator, but she already knew every detail we had discussed with Kelsee. She also successfully organized 8 bridesmaids and 9 groomsmen for the rehearsal and do ceremony. The food was great and they boxed up the extras to take home. We got the diamond package and it was worth every penny. We got two proteins per guest, which was halibut and sirloin. Both were cooked to the right level of doneness, which is impressive for a buffet. There is a large bride suite and groom suite, so I was able to have space and privacy when bustling my dress or sneaking out of my heels and into my uggs. The sun room overlooks the backyard and is a beautiful space to sign your marriage certificate. We had the ceremony, dinner, and reception all at the mansion. The staff seamlessly reset the rooms between each section of the wedding they managed the decorations as we wanted them set, and even added extra touches I hadn't thought of. My husband and I had so much fun and didn't have to stress about anything. It was a magical event thanks to the professionalism and beauty of the mansion. read more

I attended a wedding here this fall it was a really great venue from a guest perspective. I liked the downtown location with on site parking. The food was absolutely delicious and we had great service from the attendants. The wedding ceremony and dance was held outside in the courtyard and the dinner was held inside. read more

For all the high reviews and the amount of money spent at the Glover Mansion I would expect better communication, customer service, and professionalism. I did not have a good experience and I would not recommend having an event/wedding here or any location that this management owns. I paid too much for the lack of service and doing a lot of the work myself before, and during the wedding. After the wedding it has been extremely hard to get a hold of anyone. The wedding overall went well because of my high organization, timelines, and layouts. Even though I was paying for a coordinator they were pretty much useless. My day of coordinator did not dress very professional and she was constantly hard to find for my family and me. We had to continually ask for things that were already on our contract and timeline. Because of the lack of service I was not able to relax as much as I would have liked to at my wedding. The food provided by Red Rock Catering is really good, I only recommend using this businesses catering and none of their other services or locations. read more

Glover Mansion is superb! The traditional dining is just beautiful. It's very historical with the Glover's owning this restaurant, and they have esquisite table-setting, valet parking, awesome meals and prepared exactly the way you want it! Brides be warned! I am honestly shocked at how high a rating other brides gave the venue. The only good thing about this venue is that the mansion is beautiful, so you barely need to decorate at all; the food is catered by red rock catering and it was delicious; and the staff that worked the event- the waiters/waitresses/bar staff only were very courteous. The bad- In the beginning we had Kellie as our coordinator, then in January when attempting to email Kellie, I got an undeliverable message so I had to email another gal, Kim. Kim stated Kellie no longer worked there! Apparently Kellie gave her notice last November and no one notified us! You would think I deserve to know as soon as possible when this kind of thing happens, after all I am the paying customer.I was later assigned to a new lady, Kelsee. The coordination of my event appeared to be good on the outside. Kelsee agreed to all of my requests. She then told me there would be a different lady the day of event named Nicole who I would meet at my rehearsal walk through. I meet Nicole who THEN tells me I will have another different coordinator the day of the wedding between 10am-2pm, Nicole would not arrive until 2pm. Now on my wedding package I was quote for one coordinator, I would not be so mad that I got 3 if it weren't for the fact that these 3 people did not communicate at all with each other. Everything I told Kelsee I had to repeat to the other 2 people. When I got there, all the things that I asked for from Kelsee were not there, the table layout was wrong eventhough I personally modified the table layout and emailed to Kelsee stating that I expected the tables to look my pdf document and they STILL did it wrong. Plus wrong table cloths& missing pieces of centerpiece. I also made a wedding madlibs for the tables, Kelsee stated staff would not throw away anything we brought, but before you know it, the staff threw them away! I do not recommend this place unless you're just looking for good food from red rock catering services. read more

We had our wedding here on October 2nd and our Rehearsal Dinner here the night prior, and we can't rave enough about how smoothly everything went! Kelsee Tower was absolutely wonderful in answering any and all questions over email or phone during my long-distance planning, and it was extremely helpful that she took the time to meet with my mom and I in person a few times prior to our event to talk through everything and take a view of what things would look like set up. We also had a wonderful experience with our day-of coordinator Britney. Our families and wedding party were impressed with how she made sure everything ran so smoothly! From the beginning, we loved how the Glover Mansion had everything included and so many food options to choose from. We also loved how convenient to downtown that the Glover Mansion was for all of our out-of-town guests and their hotels. Not only was the food delicious but the presentation was spot on. They had two members of their staff there and they were friendly and professional. The guests were raving about the food. The Glover Mansion and Kellie Hoy made my dream wedding come true. Kellie handled everything from beginning to end. I didn't have to worry about anything the day of, I was actually calm and relaxed! The mansion is beautiful and the bridal suite is large, with two bathrooms. I had six bridesmaids, plus my mom, and a makeup artist and a hair dresser. There was plenty of room for all of us. Kellie even brought us champagne to toast before the ceremony! The food was to die for. I got so many compliments on it, from nearly every guest. I chose steak and salmon for the proteins. I am not a big salmon fan, but theirs was absolutely amazing. The staff also passes appetizers on silver trays before the dinner was ready and it was so classy and fabulous! I highly recommend the Diamond Package. It includes nearly everything for a fairly reasonable price. (Wedding cake from Just American Desserts, centerpieces, all the food, an hour of hosted bar, 10 hours of mansion use, wedding coordinateor.) Since we didn't damage anything, we were even able to put our damage deposit towards the bar, so we didn't end up having to pay anything extra out of pocket for all of our guests to enjoy the beverages of their choice!
