David's landscape comp.is by far the most professional comp. to work with, Karen is always ready to answer any of my question when I call the office. And they have the best working crew I have ever met. In the beginning of the spring, I had the privilege of meeting Ariana. I wanted to plant 4 privacy trees behind my patio. Ariana came over and gave me all the information I needed. And also completed a work order I needed to submit on what I wanted done. She was terrific,a few weeks later they planted the trees and they look beautiful. .As for the Landscape crew, they came out in the spring and did an amazing job, and again last week. Juan was the crew supervisor last week, he was so thorough in knowing just what needed to be done. The guys who were here with him worked so hard in the scorching heat. This company bends over backward to satisfy the customer and works with the customer to design the landscaping that best complements the property. After my patio was complete Tyler worked with me to find a dog gate that we requested. Even though it meant modifying part of the patio Tyler persisted until we had our dog fence in place. Would definitely recommend this company. read more

Bystander and neighbor of David's customers, I'm appaled by the money-grabbing, overworking, and 200db noise. They exploit their customers and workers by pushing them to go so fast in the heat to move on to the next money grabbing job. Passable jobs. Massive cost. Save a few grand and read how to do it yourself. It's relaxing, and surprisingly easy. Save your ear drums and look elsewhere. read more

I just moved into a new home in Monroe and David's Landscaping just finished building my rear yard patio and seating wall, front and side yards planters, new front walk and all my landscaping. They did the work for the exact price quoted and within the time frame that they committed to. The workers were professional, they cleaned up each day and were responsive to suggestions with no extras. Tyler is the guy to deal with. We have used David's Lawn and Lands.aping for 2 years now, and are very happy with their work. Our only possible complaint is that they put in a Crepe Myrtle last summer, which died over the winter. Since this is the northernmost area where these plant can grow, that may have been a bad decision. However, we have had multiple plants in that same site, and none of them lasted more than a year, so there may be something wrong with the site. They just installed a paver patio at our house in Monroe (Concordia), and we think the work is beautiful. The price is fair, and the workers were friendly and very hard working. Plus, they leveled an area next to the patio and put pavers on it as well, without charging us extra. All in all, a very nice job. Finally, when they left, they cleaned up so well that you wouldn't know they were there (except for putting in the patio, of course). read more

I am a very demanding person, came from Great Neck, NY, got used to a quality job. David and his crew fulfilled my entire request - above and beyond. In addition, the manager Sue with pleasant disposition and generous internal love to what she is doing - is a tremendous help who can fulfill any request and concern. Ok. I am giving it one star because there is nothing less but if I could give them -10 that will be a better score. Do not call them. They come, act professional and tell you they will send you the design and estimate in a couple of days. However, it has been 13 days and nothing. Not a call, no explanations. Nothing. My husband called. I called. Nothing. I am amazed at the lack of customer service. David never called us back or provided any estimate for us. So no. We will not be going with them. Glad this happened because it saved us a lot of aggravation. Add in Monroe Lifestyles looks good but the reality we have experience is different. I am reading others reviews by Anne and Hubbell and it seems they operate this way quite often. From my personal experience, this is a no for us. read more

I had David's lawn and landscape build a paver patio and do landscaping for my new home in Monroe Twp. The deer ate three arborvitae shrubs that were planted by the builder so i o purchased three different shrubs that the deer wouldn't eat. One of those shrubs died last summer but since i was leaving for Florida for the winter i asked that it not be replaced until I returned in May so I could properly water it; it was under warranty!!! David said fine call us in May. Due to the COVID 19 i decided my husband and I were safer in Florida so I called them and spoke to Sue who advised me that it wouldn't be a problem; she said to call when i returned. I called last week to let them know I was back and that they could send someone to replace the shrub. They are now telling me it's no longer under warranty!!!! what a rip off!!!!!!! If it wasn't for the virus i would have returned in May and had the shrub replaced. I guess the $35... it would probably cost him too much after i already paid him about $13000.00 This is a very poor business decision and he obviously lied to me when he said it wouldn't be a problem. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY,, I'm selling my house and the new owner is stuck with a dead shrub and he lost them as a customer as well. BAD BUSINESS DECISION!!!! Laura read more

Horrible business Practices. I spent $16,000 in one year. Lighting was defective. They took no responsibility (Claimed 3rd party) for what they installed. I contacted the Manufacturer to find out they didn't install the brand I payed for. They probably found an old timer in warehouse and installed that. After much "fighting', they installed the right brand. Shrubs died under warranty. They replaced. Within 2 months, dead again. Refused to replace because I didn't sign contract for maintenance this year ($600) that I had signed previous year. Said if I bought $200 maintenance, they would replace. Instead, they lost a customer. Ridiculous that they install sub-par plants initially as as replacements and won't warranty them. Then they threatened to contact their lawyer and sue if I posted the truth about my experience with them on social media. I guess they forgot to read the first amendment. read more

In our opinion, his company provided poor service. His plants and flowers were of such poor quality that many actually died. David comes in and does the sales pitch and then sends workers to do the gardening. He never shows up to supervise his workers and comes only at the end to collect his money. We don't recommend this company at all. He is also expensive and not worth it. read more
