I was really happy with the work they did. It was a bench my parents bought a while back. Unfortunately it was bonded leather. And if you know bonded leather, it's crap and ends up flaking off. Shedding little bits of itself like a bad case of dandruff. Eventually my mom just covered it with a sheet to try and contain the flecks. But, there'd still be a constant stream of escapees each time the bench was used. Finally they decided it was time to get it taken care of. I took a look on Yelp and came across David's Upholstry and gave them a call. I drove over to drop it off but I did have a little difficulty finding the place. Beware of data service in the area. I'm on TMobile and the gps was as flaky as the bench. So maybe know where you're going before you go. The crew is really nice and pleasant to work with. I ended up ordering some fabric for the job and specifying what I was looking for in a finished product. Afterwards, I realized I probably should have sketched out something to show them. The job ended up taking a little longer than expected. Covid delays in getting the fabric pushed the delivery date back quite a bit. Abraham was helpful in informing me what was going on. I did need to call for updates, but he always called back. Once the bench was ready, we made arrangements on a day and time to pick up the bench. They worked with me because of my difficult schedule. The end result, I was extremely happy with the finished product. The fabric looked great. And craftsmanship was amazing. And even with my verbal description of what I wanted, they did a great job realizing the end product.
