There are many small businesses in here several of them catering to the Hispanic community like the Cielito Lindo Restaurant and the Jugos La Hacienda. Surprisingly there are 3-4 hair salon places just in this one strip mall, so customers can definitely pick their favorite hairdresser. There are places for medical supplies, sports equipment, shoe repair, eye exams, chicken wings and much more. Several of the driveways are one way, so keep an eye on the arrows. I went to get a menu from the Cielito Lindo restaurant for future exploration. Did not get to eat there this time.

Other businesses in the plaza include Priority Pest Control, Animal Hospital, Detail Garage, Jewelry Box, Sherry Studio, a Vape and Smoke Shop, Brow USA, Check n Cash, ENVIOS, Massage, Beauty G Nails, Time Twister Games, and Gina's Salon & Barber. On this visit I noticed a new business, Cyber X Community. There is also one in Miami. You can't tell much from the outside but I found a video online. It looks like an internet cafe with powerful computers where you can play new video games with your friends for $8 an hour. They also have a party room. My daughter and her friends build video games so this looks like something they would be into. It looks really cool and different. If there is a drawback to this plaza, it's that the road in front of the businesses is tight and parking is cramped. It wasn't busy even on a Saturday afternoon so it isn't a big problem.

This shopping area was built in 2003-2004 and covers more than 12 acres of land, so it's very large in terms of land area. There's parking for more than 410 cars. I went to get something at the Publix in here and I was really surprised on how extensive this strip mall was. There were so many businesses here, that it's quite busy all day long. Besides the anchor Publix, there are many businesses like a Little Caesar's pizza, a Safe Ship store, a barber shop, liquor store, cash advance office, a Chicken Grill restaurant, spa and nail salon, playing card and games store, dentist office, Chinese restaurant and much more.

One of the biggest improvements was the addition of the movie theater, and the interior has been renovated to feel much more modern, bright, and clean. Many of the longtime anchor stores are still here, although some of the smaller boutique shops have come and gone over the years. I also appreciate that there are now a couple of kid-friendly attractions, including a children's museum and an indoor play center. They're great additions for families and are very reasonably priced. The parking lot is large, with multiple entrances around the property, so it's easy to access the mall from just about any direction. There is still some construction in one section of the parking lot that seems like it's been there for quite a while. I haven't seen much activity recently, so I'm not sure if the project is still ongoing. Fortunately, it's limited to one area and doesn't really affect the overall shopping experience. The mall itself is a nice size. It's not overwhelmingly large, but it's definitely not small either. Everything is indoors, making it a great place to shop, walk around, or spend a few hours, especially during Florida's hot or rainy weather. Overall, Broward Mall has done a great job modernizing while keeping many of the stores and features that have made it a local favorite for years.

During the weekdays there rarely many children playing. Weekends are obviously more crowded but fun for the kids as long as the guardians are supervising their own little ones. This is a great FREE indoor space for those Plantation days when the weather is not great outside.

In 1994 this plaza became a bustling shopping extravaganza in east Hollywood for years until the Dania Pointe mega shopping center stole a majority of it's customers. The parking lot has adequate spaces to support the plaza activity. Entry into the plaza is simple off Sheridan Street and Stirling Road. The Dave and Busters, BJ's Wholesale Club, Home Depot, Ross, City Furniture and Miller's Ale House have continued to stay in business but unknown if they are thriving. The Regal Oakwood Theaters is finally permanently closed and now the new ultra modern Regal Cinema has opened in Dania Pointe directly across the street. The Gold's Gym and the Big Lots are also out of business. There are several EV stations at the NE corner of the plaza. In my opinion, within the next three years, the Dania Pointe will eventually destroy all hopes of this plaza's lifeline.

It is really cool to see all the different styles of cars while walking around getting some snacks from the local businesses. They do need to figure out a wider variety of things here and probably need to lower the rent because there is a ton of empty storefronts that used to be something or have never been anything yet. I really enjoy the nitrogen ice cream place they have here and they even have an escape room here! There is a nice variety of things here and you can kill a bit of time hopping around the place eating and drinking because these places have pretty good happy hour specials! The walk is always super clean as well and I never have to struggle to find parking when I am here, even on event days!
