I love Broward Mall! I've been coming here for over 20 years, and it's changed quite a bit over that time. One of the biggest improvements was the addition of the movie theater, and the interior has been renovated to feel much more modern, bright, and clean. Many of the longtime anchor stores are still here, although some of the smaller boutique shops have come and gone over the years. I also appreciate that there are now a couple of kid-friendly attractions, including a children's museum and an indoor play center. They're great additions for families and are very reasonably priced. The parking lot is large, with multiple entrances around the property, so it's easy to access the mall from just about any direction. There is still some construction in one section of the parking lot that seems like it's been there for quite a while. I haven't seen much activity recently, so I'm not sure if the project is still ongoing. Fortunately, it's limited to one area and doesn't really affect the overall shopping experience. The mall itself is a nice size. It's not overwhelmingly large, but it's definitely not small either. Everything is indoors, making it a great place to shop, walk around, or spend a few hours, especially during Florida's hot or rainy weather. If you have young children who are don't always enjoy playing outside in the heat, this is a wonderful small play area where crawlers to young walkers can safely play. During the weekdays there rarely many children playing. Weekends are obviously more crowded but fun for the kids as long as the guardians are supervising their own little ones. There is an area for parking strollers and storing shoes. The play area was clean and I didn't observe anything that looked dangerous for climbing and playing. This is a great FREE indoor space for those Plantation days when the weather is not great outside. read more

Broward Mall is pretty much empty during the week, which can be a plus if you're looking to get in and out without crowds. There are some new stores, plenty of parking, and it was overall clean when I visited. There's also a movie theater on site, although the mall itself has a bit of an old smell. The food court isn't very big and offers typical mall food like Panda Express, Cuban food, pizza, etc. One downside is that the food court is clearly understaffed. Most spots only had one server, which caused long lines despite the mall being quiet. I was on a lunch break and it took over 25 minutes for food.Some restaurants do offer lunch specials, which is nice for your pockets. I imagine it probably gets busier around the holidays, but if you want a quick, stress-free visit, weekdays are definitely the way to go. read more

Walkable mall with a movie theater. Not as popular or large as Sawgrass. Limited store selection. Inconsistent service. Perk is that it still has Macy's and is not as expensive as Aventura. While the food court has been upgraded but is still limited in what it offers. Still a staple shopping center in Broward, just not the best. read more

A relatively quiet mall. I've been here a few times to check out Macy's and the food court. They have a good selection of stores. I have only can to a few. Service is usually very good and parking is always easy to find. Cedeno's Cuban restaurant in the food court is worth visiting. They have all of the regular Cuban dishes you would find a Las Vegas for great prices. read more

I have to come here at least once per month for work. Otherwise, I wouldn't go. I don'tfeel any connection to it or feel like there is anythingout of the ordinary.. I feel like it is not that modern. Heck, Tmobile left the building. That says a lot to me, being one of the most popular cell phone companies in the country. Their food court is lackluster. The good part is they have all the basics. Or my basics. Macy's, Bath and Body Works and Victoria's Secret. So, I can buy some things I need when I am here. I do like Brio which is just outside of the mall. I did like The Whole Enchilada which was by JCP. But they closed. :( read more

Not as crowded and upscale as other shopping malls, but the Broward Mall holds its own offering a variety of eateries and shopping experiences such as: * Eye care/eyewear * Health & beauty stores * Footwear/department stores * Jewelry & accessories * Apparels: men's, women's, children's, athletic * Food court/restaurants * Services & entertainment * Learning centers and many more It took me about an hour to stroll through the entire mall. Like I said before, it's not crowded so you can walk around at your own pace and leisure. There are lots of seating throughout the mall to rest your weary feet. This is my first time in this mall and I really like the food court options. They have the common restaurant like panda express and chick fila but I like some other restaurants that I have never tried. The garage is one of the restaurants that I am coming back for. This place has healthy options and natural smoothies. Another option is a jerk restaurant that looks soo delicious. I definitely want to come back to try the food here. read more

It is a great mall as in it has all the basic stores that are needed for shopping . But the construction wasn't great since half of it it's not there and it wasn't busy on a weekday. Plenty of selection for stores , and it was clean which made shopping a better experience. Good option when in the area. read more

This is a duplicate listing to Westfield Mall. Broward Mall had a name change to Westfield Mall in 2007. Then in 2021 it changed back to its original name, Broward Mall, is located in Plantation, FL and it opened in 1978. There are about 87 stores and 4 anchors; those anchors are currently Dillard's, JCPenney, Macy's, and Regal Cinemas. When I lived in the area, this was my go-to mall. The parking lot was huge and spacious. I usually parked at JCPenney and walked in through that store. The mall was never too busy or crowded. It's actually a very stress free place to walk and shop compared to the Sawgrass Mills Mall. The food court was large with plenty of options. I'm not typically a mall person but I enjoyed visiting this mall. read more

I've grown up in south Florida and got to see the many stages and changes of Broward Mall over the years. I enjoy coming here. It's become a calm mall and has been remodeled and is up to date. There's no hustle and bustle here like at Sawgrass Mall where you are almost being ran over with by tourist's luggage's filled with items bought. I love coming here when I want to go to Bath and Body Works or go for a stroll. They have added a lot to their food court too! read more

Located near the intersection of University Drive and Broward Blvd, Broward Mall is home to Dillard's, JCPenney, Macy's, plus over 100 specialty stores including H&M, Victoria's Secret, ALDO, Express, G by Guess, Hollister, Pandora and more. I have been here several times for shopping, browsing and dining. There are many eateries to suit anyone's taste buds....some of the favorites here are Buffalo Wild Wings, Brio Tuscan Grille, Panda Express, Fresh Mango's or The Whole Enchilada. There's a Regal Broward Stadium 12 cinema complex in here as well. The mall has always looked clean and well kept when I have visited. It had been a while since I visited this mall and it has changed a lot, There are new stores and an incoming expansion as well they have a museum now the regular stores are still there like Macy's, JCPenney, and Dillard all the other shops are new names to me for the exception of a few ones. The food court has been renovated since I last saw it. There are prices for all budgets, Selection for all types and likes, and service depends on the store you visit. Broward Mall was already in Yelp at one time because I remember reviewing this mall. I spent years and years going to this mall to shop and for community events. The school children had activities here when my daughter was growing up. We loved to spend the day shopping and then eat at the food court. It's changed as have most of the malls around the country. If I return I'm sure I would visit Broward Mall to reminisce about old times. But I certainly know the feeling that you can't go home again. I've tried with other places I have lived. We visited this mall for the first time and it was pretty nice! A good variety of stores and places to eat. We really appreciated the family friendly restroom and that brought me to 5/5 stars. The play area was okay, it wasn't the best and the equipment was worn down but just having a play area was nice. read more
