Combined $22 and when I said just eyebrows for 12, she said she would make it $20 for both. I'm used to paying $14 for both in Boston! Whatever, I'm here now I told myself. So, I reluctantly, I sat down and hoped it would be worth it. This was probably the worst wax I have ever gotten, considering that on the underside of one eyebrow there were 5-6 OBVIOUS stray hairs left behind. How can you not see that? Same story on the upper lip, and if my math is correct, $8 for her to apply wax and RIP it off aggressively without getting anything substantial off. She also insisted upon waxing the area below my lower lip which I found to be ridiculous; I just have a little bit up there as I am of Mediterranean descent and from certain angles and lighting it shows a bit. I went home and tweezed them myself. She did not clean the wax off my face or put any lotion/cream on to calm the skin. I had some of the hairs that she did manage to remove plastered to my face. If she had spent a mere thirty seconds longer on each of my eyebrows and slowed down, I would have left a happy customer. But she was rushing (and when I came back up, it seemed that there was another waxing client waiting that may have had an appointment which could have been why.) If she had asked me to wait ten minutes I gladly would have, or gone to get a coffee at Starbucks and returned. If you care to look at any of my other reviews, I generally am easy to please.
