The Office Experience was Horrible. First time visit I had a cracked tooth and needed to be seen. I got lost I arrived 5 minutes late I even called, they said ok.When arrived hey handed me the initial paperwork to fill out witch I have very good insurance the paper work took approximately 3 to 4 minutes this made me 8 to 9 minutes late when I took my paper work back another girl said I could not be late they could not see me. She said she talk to me the day before. She did not talk to me the day before. She said they would reschedule I explained I had lost a day of work and I had drove 37 miles one way to get there. It wasn't enough for Dr Davis to ruin my bite by trying to adjust my teeth to accommodate 2 crowns her office did that were too short, now I HAVE TO HAVE A TOOTH PULLED FROM HER INCOMPETENCE She left pieces of metal from her dental file in 2 molar canals when giving me a root canal. An endodontist tried to redo the root canal but the files are too embedded in my tooth and kept breaking A person qualified to do the procedure would have caught the 1st piece of metal break and removed it immediately. Now my tooth is abscessed and the whole side of my face is swollen and painful. I take Alendronate, but pulling the tooth is the only option There were 2 other crowns she did that took 2 mths and the temporary crowns kept breaking causing so much pain I couldn't eat through Thanksgiving and Christmas. The 1st of many holidays I couldn't eat thanks to her I have lost count how many procedures I continue to have from her shoddy work Its all about what she gets paid for "chair time" read more

First let me say the service I DID receive was great, the problem is the follow-up. I had a tooth removed on Wednesday, appt was great, no problems on Thursday. However, by Friday morning one of the stitches came loose. The thread was poking into my gums and tongue. I tried calling by 10:00 am per their hours (open until 3:pm on Friday) but no response, called twice for emergency care. I drove by there at 12:00noon. The place was dark. No one was there; it was closed (HOURS APPARENTLY INCORRECT??) I still hadn't had call from my emergency messages. I called an alternate dentist who was also now closing by 1:pm on Friday and they couldn't help me. They suggested I go to Urgent Care (not dental urgent care) I went there, they couldn't do anything. I actually went to my own doctors office they couldn't do anything because it was dental. It is now Friday 1:30 pm, I still haven't had a call back. I still have this piece of stitch pushing into my tongue and gum. I'm frustrated haven't received any call back. The problem with this place isn't the dentist, or the work done for treatment (I was very pleased with that) The problem is the is the lack of ability to handle emergencies, return calls, and incorrect hours posted, and no emergency alternative. We needed care for our special needs son. He has a clinical oral sensory aversion and high anxiety about anything going in his mouth. He needed to be anesthetized. We couldn't find anyone willing to help. Dr. Davis met with us and our son. Was able to take certain x-rays. We agreed on a treatment plan. He needed 3 impacted teeth removed, a cleaning, a deep cleaning and a chipped tooth fixed. His teeth were very dirty as he won't tolerate brushing. This office was absolutely stellar in every way . The desk staff, the anesthesiologist, Dr. Davis and the oral surgeon finished all his work and he recovered beautifully. A++ Cannot speak highly enough of this group! read more

I went there hoping to get my smile back, but instead got far worse! A dental implant re-do went TERRIBLY wrong & it costed me far worse than the $2000.00 I paid. My implant broke off, I was sent to a specialist, missed work b/c of it, and went "toothless" until she figured out how to "fix" it by watching YouTube videos! This place is honestly wonderful. I have a weird condition that makes lidocaine an issue for me, and they offer sedation for fillings. They explain everything very well. I also have horrible TMJ and they now offer Botox as a treatment for it. I have never been without jaw pain and this gives me nearly two full months of zero pain, which is life changing. I just relocated to Louisville from Seattle and was lucky to find the great staff at Davis Dental Center. Not only was everyone professional, they were also a lot of fun. The office is very modern and I was very excited that they use digital x-ray because it is much netter for the environment! I don't have kids myself but there was a child in the next chair who was upset. I watched as the entire staff went to great lengths to ensure that the little girl had a good experience. Dr. Rachael even got down on her hands and knees to help the child select the best toy from the toy box. This is definitely a good place for patients of all ages! read more

Summary: Dr. Rachel supposed to perform an Operation called "Tongue Tied" Frenectomy operation. But she didn't review her notes and proceeded to drill on the wrong area/gums inside my mouth using a Laser. Being worked on by Dr. Rachell is like going for an Appendectomy operation but ending up getting my Gall Bladder removed! Detail: Before the actual "Tongue tied" surgery, I was in Davis Dental for an Oral checkup. Dr. Rachel examined my mouth and found out that I had a Tongue Tie. She noted that my tongue cannot fully stick out because of a tissue under my tongue is very tight. She suggested to cut that tissue under my tongue so that my tongue can freely and normally stick out. I said OK let's do it as long as my insurance covers it. Then after a couple of weeks I got a call from Davis Dental Clinic for a Tongue-Tied operation. I showed up, but then later discovered that I was overbooked and didn't have clear time when they will see me. I went home disappointed and I wasted 1 day of Work. They asked for another schedule, which I hesitate to agree. Then on July 20th 2018, I finally walked into their Office very excited. Then Dr Rachel and her assistant started numbing my gums. She then asked me vague questions where she would work on my mouth. She pointed on my Tongue I said "go for it" with the understanding she knows what to do. Then Dr. Rachel proceeded to start with "Tongue Tied" operation using their high-tech Laser gadget and drilled on my gums. Because of the numbing medicine, I didn't have any sensation where she was working inside my mouth. I was quiet and still during the entire procedure. I totally trusted her with her job and expertise to do the right thing. I was their patient for more than 5 years prior to this operation. I never had any operation with her but only basic tooth cleaning and tooth filling which was done by her staff. When I got home, the numbing medicine began to worn out, and my gums was very painful. I then noticed that she drilled on my gums instead of cutting that tissue under my tongue. I complained to my wife about this and she called Dr. Rachel the next morning. Dr. Rachel blamed me for not telling her where the correct spot was and made me look foolish to my wife. She made my wife uncomfortable by putting the blame on me. I wonder how can this be a miss, when she was the one who suggested this in the first place? She admittedly said that she went to the operation without her notes! Because of her carelessness, I have to undergo unnecessary pain and disappointment. Me and my family were supporting their business as early as 2012 and yet she didn't treat me well and without respect. It amazed me talking on the phone with her blaming me for her mistake. After all of this, I cannot believe what I saw in the mail from Dr. Rachel. She basically said in the letter that she wouldn't want to deal with us if we come to her Clinic. From the time I walked in and was greeted by Olga, I felt very comfortable and that is saying a lot because I'm not one to enjoy dentistry. Dr. Rachel Davis, along with tremendous support from her staff, provides such excellence in treatment, explaining in common language exactly what needs to be done, how she's going to do it, step by step, beginning to end. She is as natural and caring as someone you have known for many years. I love the fact that she and her staff are networked to the latest technology and are constantly learning new methods. The fact that Dr. Rachel began at a young age learning from her father and continuing education until now, means I have a dentist who loves what she does. It also sets an example that she is eager to learn more in order to keep that knowledge growing in order to serve clients. My treatment involved two implants along with a bone graft and complete bottom denture, using conscious sedation. I recommend it to everyone. She has over 30 years of experience as a hygienist so she really knows her stuff and does a great job of educating you about your teeth and treatment recommendations. I made an appointment with Davis Dental to get an idea of what they would charge me to get a front tooth chip repaired. I was also interested in whitening, 3 veneers, and a night guard to protect my investment. I explained what I wanted when I made the appointment. The girl that made the appointment asked me to bring the current xrays I had taken 2 weeks ago with me. I told her I was not sure I could get them. I showed up for my appointment and was told if I didn't have the xrays they would have to take more that day. I explained I did not want further exposure to xrays and if I were to have my work done there I would get them. Well that was unexceptable and they refused to let me keep my apt. They said it was because their standards were so high but I find that hard to believe as the examination chairs in the dental office were all dirty with cracks and tears in them and the walls were all beat up. Doesn't look like they need to be turning away customers. I would not recommend them. It was a waste of my time when all I wanted was a consultation. They are the first dentist that said they would charge fo give me a consultation. No one else of the other 2 I saw did. Not very professional behavior. read more
