Both my wife and I have been going to Davis Dental Group for many years. We have always received quality care. Through the years there have been times where we had some dental problems where immediate care was necessary and Dr. Davis took care of us in the same day. My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Davis every 3 months for many years to receive dental cleaning and care and we can only compliment them for their professional knowledge, being friendly and understanding. No! My husband had an injury, and at first they were great. But then... "where's the check?" My hubs: What are talking about? Them: Well, we haven't seen a check from your insurance so we assumed you are cashing them! My hubs: No! Are you kidding me? We would never do that! Who in the world are you talking to and about? You're going to accuse me of stealing? WOW!! Come to find out they never called or spoke with the insurance company about the billing, charged us (which we paid), and we didn't get the services that we were told we would get. On top of that we were referred by a friend, who will also never be going back to them, because of how my hubs was treated! She does NOT want to be associated with this dental firm! Instead of asking a question, they assume you're stealing! IsDo better, be better! Oh, and when people come asking for their dental records, just ask, where am I sending them too, not...why am I sending these to another location? You don't need to know! Just send! You're HORRIBLE! Edit: for some reason I am not able to respond to your response. First, I do apologize for the "is it because I'm black" comment, that was uncalled for. I am his wife, and I am black, and when I went in with him a couple of times the reception was not friendly. However, I'm better than that and should have never said those words so I do apologize for that! At the same time, we stand by the rest of what was said! You allow yourself and your staff to bully your patients, if you want to talk about bullies. You want to talk about being slanderous? Your front desk lady made sure to make slanderous accusations and accuse us of keeping insurance money instead of just saying, "hey...you know we noticed we had not received any checks from your insurance company, have you seen any checks come your way?" she made my husband and I feel like we were thieves. Like we were keeping the money and trying to continue to come in for services. That's not how you talk to people! Then... when someone stands up and posts a negative review, you can't take the heat, and stoop to calling people internet bullies! Come on man! When he was going there I know he talked to you about everything that was going on, and you blew him off, refused to do work after you had promised, and left him hanging. How is that supposed to make your patients feel? He suffered a traumatic and horrific accident, and was recommended to come to you because he was told you could help, and at first you did, but then all of a sudden something changed, the true slanderous accusations happened and you did nothing! He felt helpless and left to the wayside, so therefore you and your business do not deserve a good review. When we told the friend what was going on she was mortified, said wow, that's ridiculous, but had heard some not so good things about your office prior to us mentioning anything to her, and said she will never return. So yes, you still need to do better! All in all, he found someone who would help him, the insurance company was billed appropriately, questions were asked, and a plan was put into place! This should have never been a 4 year process, like you were making it. Had you and your staff had better compassion towards your patients, and it seems like you're capable, you have some pretty good reviews, then this would have never been written! I just hope that if anyone else comes in with traumatic injuries that you and your staff treat them better than you treated my husband! read more

I have been going to Davis Dental group since I was a young g child and have continued to go here as an adult even after moving up north to Auburn because the staff is amazing and Dr. Davis is great to have as a provider. I just had a baby earlier this year and she is already a new patient with Davis dental! They are great with kids as well. read more

This place is fantastic! The staff is kind and welcoming. I've gone for several cleanings and got a filling replaced and was never uncomfortable once. They offered me a blanket and a neck pillow for comfort and you can pick a movie to watch while getting a procedure done. Highly recommend. read more

I used to go to this group. The Admin staff is truly great. But I had to cancel I'll admit quite a few times due to work conflicts and child care. That was a few years ago. I recently was looking for a dentist and asked for a second chance at Davis dental as I do like the personnel that work with DR Davis but apparently he is unforgiving. In this day and age to me it says a lot. I even offered to prepay as needed but was still turned down. I had even referred my squadron members who needed dental care to deploy to Davis Dental. My job conflicts were due to military obligations and serving my country. I can't help sick children. My husband is still going there but as Dr Davis has refused to see me we will both be seeking other dentists. read more

Dr. Davis is the very best dentist in the Pierce County area and beyond. He has a wonderful, caring staff, too.

They were one of the few to fully accept my insurance, so originally that was why I had gone for my first visit. After going, I am so glad it worked out that I went there. I got an examination & also a cleaning. The cleaning was thorough and professional. The staff was helpful and very friendly. I didn't leave with any questions, and in fact, had learned a few tips too that I hadn't from other offices. Davis dental group has helped change my best friend's life for the better and I am so thrilled for her to see after over 30 years of friendship she can now smile showing her teeth because she has an absolutely amazing smile to match her amazing personality. I was so impressed I decided to go get help for my very serious dental issues. I am a mother in mourning and do not go out in public alot but knowing I will see thier happy welcoming faces and receive thier kindness I know I will leave happy. Pat and Mia at the front desk are top notch and Melissa and Dr.Davis are my team in the back and have never let me down. They seem to understand that I have severe cptsd and they help manage my anxiety. I just moved to the area, found Davis Dental Group here on Yelp and had a great experience. Here are some highlights: This practice is on their game with technology! Including online scheduling, 3D imaging (so cool) and text reminders. I was able to have my records from my previous provider sent quickly and easily via email, and providing demographic and insurance information was a breeze. They work well as a team. I scheduled online, got a prompt follow up call to clarify my needs and adjust the appointment to accommodate both an exam and a cleaning. Each time I was passed off between staff I felt like everyone knew who I was and what I needed. Strong communication, extremely streamlined. These folks are knowledgeable, professional, and just plain kind. I have pretty severe dental anxiety and they managed to get a ton of work done in a very efficient manner while also helping me feel as relaxed as a person realistically can in a dentist's office :) Very impressed, and I have a high bar for dentists. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Davis Dental made a great first impression! The front-desk, assistant, and dentist were all great (bad with names - sorry guys.) They were focused and to the point on what needed to be addressed and the order we needed to address it. I was really impressed by how much they're able to handle in-house, rather than referring out or having you go find services on your own. Great team! Apparently, you have to book the dentist and the hygienist separately. This resulted in me being able to book a dental appointment next-day, but having to wait more than a month if I wanted a cleaning. I've never encountered a dentist that didn't include a cleaning! read more
