After seeing the same dentist for my entire life my long-time provider retired and I was referred to Dr Tennison by a coworker.

I'm not a fan of going to the dentist due to horrible childhood experience.. Throughout my life…read moreI've avoided going to the dentist for regular cleaning and check ups. Until recently my wisdom teeth and cavities a couple other issues decided to arise all at once. First I went to the emergency dental by Tacoma mall. They gave me X rays and a referral to a doctor in Puyallup who had appointments as far out to January 2016.. Yep! I would not survive this pain so I Googled oral surgeon in my area that accepted my medical plan from work. doctor Giesy was the only one that came up.. So I called, first impression is everything.. You can feel the smile and welcoming voice through the phone Teresa was who answered.. They had an appointment available the following morning.. (perfect)., following day I was still nervous to even step into the office but once I walked in it was not what I expected. I expected just a plain olé dental clinic. Nope felt like home with welcoming smiles to greet you. As the staff came in to start their day they introduced themselves.. That's the first. The decor or set up of the office was very comforting. Then I met Kristina she gave me a tour of the office of what goes on and where. Then proceeded into my visit getting my X rays all the necessary pictures exams completed. I was amazed how thorough detailed informational everybody was they explained EVERY little thing. Also stopped to make sure I'm okay if I needed anything. Any questions.. I mean I could go on and on in this review how amazing this office is the setting, staff, surrounding.. I even dozed off during my cleaning.. Kacia does a amazing job.. My phobia of going to the dentist is now gone.. Wished I found this office years ago I would have taken better care of my teeth and went to do regular check ups. Lastly the rooms are very up to date you get a TV to watch and the chair massages while your visit... Take the time and check out their website and dedication they put into it. That should explain allot also.. Thank you for your time on reading my review.. Give Dr Geisy's office a try.. Have a wonderful day...

I had moved my entire family of five to this practice last year. The dentist is super nice and…read moreseems like a great guy. However, his office staff is the worst that I've ever worked with, especially the lady that works in the billing department. My first interaction with her was when I brought my daughter in and they had to perform a root canal.- when I was paying the bill. I asked her why one tooth was more expensive than the other tooth and she continued to chastise me and say well there are teeth that have more roots than others in a very snarky response, as if somebody who does not work in dental understood this. My other daughter also went in for a root canal and they ended up having to extract the tooth failed to tell us that she needed to come back to get stitches removed and she ended up having pain about a month later and they said oh sorry we dropped the ball on this one. The last straw was when my newly turned 18-year-old daughter went in for some work, and they failed to tell her that this was not going to be covered by our insurance because this work was already done previously at another dental clinic. To this day I continue to receive invoices in the mail saying that this is overdue and emails. We refuse to pay this as it's their responsibility to let us know that something is not covered because it was already previously done that year. My husband has attempted to have several calls with the insurance companies and this office and has completely failed. I have moved my entire family out of this practice and onto a new one and I would say I do not recommend giving them your business.

Their cleanings are extremely detailed. Kristina is the best! She really takes her time to do everything perfectly, and you can tell she genuinely cares about the quality of her work. I also had a crown done here, and unlike other offices where it takes two separate appointments, they completed everything in one visit thanks to their new, modern equipment. It saved me so much time and was incredibly convenient. The office itself is always immaculately clean, the staff are professional yet warm, and the overall experience feels like everything is done at the highest level. Every time I come here, I leave with a smile (literally and figuratively). It's rare to find a dental office where you actually look forward to your next appointment, but this is one of those places!

I broke my front tooth before new years and was able to get in before heading back to Alaska. 2 days after consult, new crown put in with very little to no discomfort. Reserved parking in the lot across the street. Very modern and open lobby and office.. very inviting. Non-insurance pricing was also reasonable for last minute visit. Earned a client.

SHOCKINGLY TO ME: a crown is removed, a brand new one created, and installed IN ONE APPOINTMENT! Today's technology used at Petrie uses a camera to 3d your crown and tooth area and the result: perfect. Prior history, I had to have the crown adjusted when high points become noticed. Here, my crown is the best fit ever in my life and at one appointment. Prior replacements required two appointments and more work to create a crown. Reminders are nicely made to avoid forgetting an appointment too. Simply a happy customer for a good reason: nothing could be done better.

I chose this location because it was convenient but I was impressed by the knowledge and experience of Dr. Gagliardi. Avoid this dental practice as if it's going out of business....because it essentially did. The way…read morethey make money is to practice the art of bait and switch on their patients. I first visited in February 2018 to have a consultation of fixing an injury that took place in July 2014. The front office staff was pleasant and welcoming. They even sat down after my appointment to put the entire plan into writing to make sure I could manage the finances of the repair and feel comfortable it would fit my budget. My hygienist was friendly and calming. These people have all been with the practice for 5, 8, 10+ years!! And Dr. G was just great. I felt like I had FINALLY found the perfect place to get me past all my fears of dentists. And for a minute, it did. Fast forward 4 appointments later, I go in for my final appoint to seat 3 crowns in March 2018. The ENTIRE front office staff is different. Every single last one of them. Every single hygienist was different. They all had on different uniforms. There wasn't a single familiar face (except for later, Dr. Gagliardi). I was completely disoriented and asked what was happening and she casually says "oh the practice has sold, but don't worry this won't affect you." But where did everyone go? "Oh every one was given the opportunity to stay but they chose a different path." Well that in and of itself is rather disconcerting that people that have been in this practice working together for over 10 plus years chose within a matter of DAYS since my last appointment that they would rather just leave immediately than to work for this new practice. And I'm talking at least 7 or 8 long term employees. Why did they all leave so abruptly? And how did this franchise already have 7 brand new people waiting in the wings to come in? What made all of this happen in the space of time between an afternoon appointment on Monday and an afternoon appointment 2 days later on Wednesday? But there was nothing I could do to stop and ask more questions, I had a temporary crown mold covering 3 front teeth, this appointment was to settle 3 porcelain crowns that were ready to go. This was not the time in which I could ask questions or switch practices if I didn't like the answers. I was stuck. The final appointment went fine, but I was still just so completely weirded out by what had happened. A month goes by, I get a very large bill for more than $2000. WHAT?? I call the office, in a panic. What is happening? Trudy and I had gone over everything, I prepaid my portion, I have everything in writing and I have receipts. So I get an apology "so sorry, we just took over, just a billing glitch, please ignore." Ok. Another few months goes by, another statement, $2000. Another phone call to their offices, another apology, "still working out the kinks, disregard". Another few months go by, another statement, $279, "your insurance has paid their portion, this is yours." No, no, I worked with Trudy ahead of the appointments and paid my portion upfront, this must still be a glitch. January 2019, statement, "Friendly reminder, your prompt payment will be greatly appreciated." I just got off the phone. It's paid.I put it on my credit card. Then I made sure they sent me a statement of "paid in full", as well as cancel all further appointments I had previously scheduled for cleanings before I got off the call. Moral of the story: this practice sold out their customers, but worse yet they sold out their employees, and they even will pull a bait and switch over $300. Unethical and not even remotely worth the stress. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! And it's a real shame, too, because I really thought Dr. G was a good guy. Back to the drawing board to find one.
