A few months later, the "free quick fixes" had outlived their life, and I actually needed someone to come see me ($99 service call). It took Phillip 3 minutes to diagnose my problem, and offer a solution. He had the gear in the truck and 30 minutes later, it was completely repaired. I had asked Phillip, what I pay you to repair this plus the service call fee, and it doesn't work. With all of the assurance he could muster, he simply said, "That's the problem. That's the fix. It will work, period". I love when a professional who sees similar problems dozens of times a day doesn't try to bamboozle you, take advantage, or upsell you. "This is the problem, this is the fix, it will work. Period". BTW... Phillip is the 3rd company I had talked to. One company wanted to rewire my entire garage, and sell me an entire new lift kit... $8000.00. I won't name them. The 2nd company said, "$6000 but your wiring might not be a problem". Phillip at Garage Door Medics said, "It's a problem with the receiver going bad. Your clicker doesn't work, your button on your wall does... there' no wiring issue. $200 plus service call fee". Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to Garage Door Medics & Phillip & Jeff.
