On Friday morning when it was not any better we called her usual Chiropractor but she was or of town. She recommended Dr. Angela who was gracious enough to work Chara in. Dr. Angela is an extremely thorough chiropractor and she takes her time in getting to know what is going on and does not rush her way through adjusting her patient. Chara loved how gentle she was and how she explained what was going on and how she was working to correct it. They're a pain in the ass to deal with" and was left with an "OK... bye." No willingness to work with my plan or even a cash-payment option (which I've done before with chiropractors when I didn't have great insurance), and not the slightest concern of what my condition was. Also, I didn't expect to hear swearing from a practitioner within my first 2 minutes of introducing myself. I feel like that's Baseline Professionalism 101. I'm giving it 2 stars only because I haven't actually gotten chiropractic care from them, and I'm not one to blast a business without the full experience. For all I know, they have the magic touch and are miracle healers. However, first impressions mean a lot, and the pretentious attitude from the staff I spoke with suggests that they're interested in easy money over helping people in pain. My guess is they probably have a baseline of patients and don't feel like dealing with the new intake process very much. Either way, its not really worth it when there's plenty of good chiropractors around here.
