What they don't understand is that I DID find a reputable company that came out & fixed my unit that their guy couldn't. I was told it was the wire nut. The wires were touching & shorting out the unit. I spent almost 4 days in 87° in the house & I'm 69 yo with health problems. The girls in the office WOULD NOT send out a tech to fix what the 1st guy couldn't. The unit worked for 2 weeks. They told me that meant it was fixed & they were gonna charge me $189 for a tech to come out. I asked them why they wouldn't honor the 30 day warranty!! They don't care about anyone but their own GREEDY selves. Then they have the NERVE to reply with lies accusing me of cussing them out & all slanderous lies. I never once swore at them & let me tell you I was in distress!!!!! I asked the girl if I had to kiss her butt to get a tech out here & she said no but I do have to pay $189. Let me add that I am taking this co to court to pay for the 2nd co that came out here to fix what they REFUSED TO FIX. I feel sorry for the owner of this company cuz it's his office staff that's gonna put him outta business. Multiple issues over several visits: $500 to change out a kitchen sink/faucet that I purchased (so…read morethat does not include the cost of the parts), and the faucet swiveled from the base (it's supposed to swivel IN the base, not the base swivel), was not caulked around the sink, the hot/cold water lines reversed, drain was not caulked/tightened down (so it moved and leaked), and the drain lines were not tightened down/leaked. 2 bathroom sink faucets were asked to be repaired and I was told they could not and to have them install new ones - the only issue here was they needed to (again) be tightened down. Also, one of my bathroom sinks was cracked while they were here (I also had other workers in the house, so I could not verify who did it), and was told that they would not warrant work on them replacing the toilet ring/fixture (that they had to take off to have our septic line traced) because we already had the parts and the tech CHOSE to use our parts instead of theirs (they did eventually resolve, but really?). I will not be calling them back; WAY overpriced and lack of concern for their work.

Strack quoted a high end REHEEM multi stage replacement at the lower cost end, of the other two quotes for their lower technical equipment. Installation? Four techs arrived, two inside two outside.
