I have been hired to do workshops at this school twice. I have found the teachers to be some of…read morethe kindest, inquisitive teachers I have ever worked with. They definitely represent the Christian faith.

My son just finished kindergarten here, I could give many complaints of this school but this one is…read morethe icing on the cake. As we all know kindergarten is not a requirement by state law law so with this being said my son missed quite a bit of school.due to my mothers death who lived out of state and him being sick requiring multiple tests and extensive workup he was excused for all of it, academically he scored above average on state testing and recent first grade placement testing, I get the phone call stating that he will not receive a diploma and he will not be promoted to first grade but can walk so assuming it will just be left blank instead they hand my little son a dilpoma with void written all big in it, so unnecessary as we all know the diploma means nothing it certaintly is not your ticket to first grade its a disgrace how they can hand this to a child and when his teacher was questioned she said administration did it. This is just one of the many issues, my son also turned in a project that his teacher gave him an F on as to neing sick my daughter assisted him with the project and for that reason she gave him an F i mean this is kindergarten. No compassion whatsoever for what my son has been through and this is a Christian School.

This place lacks accountability…read more The positives. Teachers Miss Monica and Miss Deja are amazing. My daughter thrived in their class. They are caring and kind with the kids and really lead with compassion and understanding. Another positive is that breakfast lunch and snacks are provided by the daycare. It truly gave us peace that she was being provided good meals everyday and not processed garbage. They also brush your kids teeth in the morning! Another positive is zero to low screen time. There are times and moments they play a video but it's interactive videos like Danny Go. Summer school is a great program we were hoping she could have attended again. Water play days, crafts and activities. Sadly they said "it wouldn't work out" and she was denied return this year. Now the negatives. The rules and the contract you sign are worthless. In the contract it says " reasons for child expulsion: excessive biting, ongoing physical abuse of other children". My child was bit an unacceptable amount of times by the same child. Multiple times a day. Other children in the class were also bitten by the same child. I asked both Erica's what steps we were going to take moving forward. We were told " this her way of saying hello we have to be understanding". I asked how many times does my daughter have to be bit before it's deemed excessive. Come to find out the child that was biting got government assistance to go there and their tuition paid in full. That's when I realized this is the reason they're keeping the biting child. They were so uncaring, they kept the child in there with her, biting her and other kids, WE had to suggest moving our daughter to another class because they weren't making any moves to protect our daughter. There are other moments my child was hurt and BFA blamed her. Erica Williams called us and said " your daughter was spinning and fell down". We demanded to see the video and saw that another child spun her right in to the end of a table busting her head open. I was upset because that's not what she said on the phone. I told her it's very deceptive to not tell us the truth. The teacher Sydney didn't react until another child had to tell her my daughter was bleeding everywhere. Sydney is kind and good with the kids but not conscious of danger or proactive. Miss Judy gossips and talks about other parents and kids to other parents attending BFA. Caught her many times midway trash talking other parents. Erica Slotter said the coldest and most heartless thing to us. My daughter is disfigured from this school and has a permanent bruise on her eyebrow from falling off a chair under their care. Months later I showed her the bruise and said I was concerned it was still there and She said " well it's a good thing she has bangs to hide it". No compassion no kindness no empathy whatsoever, just cruel. In my opinion they are sneaky and deceitful when it comes to giving you a report about injuries. They wouldn't send pictures with reports every time or give the real story on the phone. We told them we didn't feel our daughter was safe and their response made us feel threatened. They said they were now involving a third party and submitting all the evidence to make sure they're protected. It just confirmed we are dollar signs and the kids are not priority, their business is priority to them, in our eyes. In my opinion both Erica's are dishonest sneaky and manipulative. In my opinion the children are second to their cash, greed and lack of integrity. We left because after that interaction we felt we were treated differently and there was a lot of tension. Our experience was If you ask questions, advocate for your child and want accountability, you become a pariah. You are an outsider and no longer the silent majority that attend BFA. Remember you are your child's voice and you need to stand up for them.
