He told me to use the app so I got my phone out and downloaded the app. I had a lot of trouble with it, but the short gentleman never tried to help me and my sister wind up helping me . The equipment all looked clean. There were 3 different kind of stationary bikes, 4 total, not counting the 12 spin class bikes. There were 3 treadmills and a few elliptical. There were some machines. The temperature in the club was perfect. Plus the bike I rode had a very good fan. Although the resistance did not go up very far. The woman who answered the phone and the girl working were both pleasant and helpful. I would workout here again next visit to Stone Harbor.

I have been a member there now for going on 3 years. Millville just recently opened a new gym in the area called Anytime fitness. Holly City puts it to shame with all the classes and the pool! They have a great selection of free weights, and the cardio room is separated from the weight room so if you feel insecure you can stay upstairs in the cardio room. Unfortunately, it is solvent only due to government assistance, which I think will ultimately doom the business. The pool is nice, but as the only pool in town, is busy. That means there is little time for only members to have a free swim. There is a good room full of cardio equipment. That is where I spend most of my time. The weight room is being re-done as are the steam rooms and locker rooms. All should be a step forward for the Family Center. They also offer child watch daily, which can be helpful for working parents. The girls who babysit the children are friendly. There are many classes offered here. Classes are less expensive for members, but the public can participate.

Today, I decided to try out the Voorhees location mainly due to the indoor track. I am training for a race and I don't like to run on treadmills or in poor weather. The "indoor track" has 2 narrow lanes for jogging and walking, yet most of the members seemed oblivious to this and I was dodging people who were not aware of their surroundings for most of the run. The track circles their cardio equipment, therefore you're just passing people staring at you run. I quickly realized the indoor track was not what I was looking for. But, I already knew I wouldn't sign up for the gym even before seeing the indoor track due to a comment the member specialist said while giving me a tour. As he is pointing out the equipment, he says "here is the incline chest press, but women don't need to use this unless they are body building." I'm sorry, sir, but as a 60 something year old man who opted to take the elevator instead of the stairs due to physical issues... how the hell do YOU know what women need? Are you a woman? Are you a trainer? Are you ME? No... that comment was unnecessary and I won't be back. Two stars because they do have top of the line equipment, as well as good amenities (sauna, pool). It was crowded, but it was also a Sunday.
