Located on the hill on the outskirts of Vernon. It is a little bit of a tourist trap or local attraction, but there is a lot to see and do. The only thing that was disappointing was the fruit and vegetable market, or rather lack thereof. You could only buy cherries and apricots. But they sell preserves (jams, vinaigrettes) and Knick Knacks. There is a nice flower garden, a playground below, an animal petting zoo above, a train ride, several cafes with sandwiches, ice cream and deserts, and the views are spectacular if you can find a spot in the shade. There is something for everyone here. Worth a visit or two. Oh yes, and there is fudge!

    School fundraiser!!! Love it!!!

Yum! Yum! Yum! Our school did a fundraiser through Davison Orchards in which we could select to purchase a case of pears, apples, or a mix. My 8 year old chose a case of Bartlett pears and I am so glad we ordered! Crunchy, fresh, juicy heaven! The brochure for the Orchards Ave accompanying Village, cafe, and tours has me seriously dreaming of a road trip to go visit this 3rd generation farm in Vernon, BC! I sure hope our school offers fundraising options through Davison Orchards again!

A perfect farm to table experience with the family. From local fruits and veggies to delicious lunches on the patio. The gift shop has a great variety of quality goods and everyone enjoys the tractor rides into the orchard. The children also enjoy the petting barn and play area. Would highly recommend when anyone is visiting Vernon.

Family fun for all. Your kids will love it here and be entertained for as long as they are not tired Goats and a donkey chickens and horse Plastic duck races ( bring your toonies!) Tire swings and wooden horses and immobilized tractors dug into the sand for imaginary riding So much to see and do, my favourites have changed over the years from the animals, the playground, the apple cart tractor ride, the store, Auntie Mays bistro and now the gelato and coffee place!! Hello!

Perspective from eating area to the general store.

This summer our family in Vernon took us to this orchard for something to do, which they considered a nice, family-friendly excursion. Not being familiar with Vernon and it being the heart of orchard country, I was interested in seeing some fruit trees and maybe even have the chance to pick some to take home. I was pleasantly surprised, this place was more then I expected! There is no admission, however, additional activities are where the cost lie. We chose to pay admission for the kid's activities, which kept my seven year old busy playing and feeding the animals. They have a nice expansive store filled with fresh fruit, delicious baked goods and various country inspired tchotkes. Generally, this is a nice touristy stop for the whole family that gives you a touch of local flavour.

Grab an ice cream and enjoy the view!

Great environment! It's not just a place to buy produce, it's also a great place to visit and explore.

all done! Best apple juice ever! Recycled!

Visited on Aug 23, 2014, bought so many different things and they were all good!!! The apple juice, watermelon and corns were so sweet; the zucchini and peppers were so fresh.

This is by far our favorite place to be. Comfort food and ambiance at its finest. Can be very pricey though.

It had everything, soap, fruits & veggies, plants for you to grow, handmade clothes, coffee, honey, and cards. I walked away with some coffee, local artist greeting cards, and some soap from a really nice couple! I would definitely come out to this Farmer's Market regularly if I lived in Vernon, as having a mix of vendors and not just food/fruits/veggies was really nice to support all types of local vendors.

On our way to Tappen with empty stomachs we stopped at their Vernon location for a sandwich. Both craving BLT's the lovely K, thanks to Yelp saw that they had that offering. We pulled in, parked, and entered the store. It's always a treat to go in as the store is well stocked, well lit and always clean. The young man that helped us at the counter was courteous and informed us of the soups that were available that day. Borscht I think might be a staple here, and the other offering was Mulligatawny, which we have made at home. Our soup and sandwiches ordered with the choice of back, or side bacon, we went to the bistro area to await our lunch. Prior to stepping away however our bacon was cut fresh from the side. Who does that? Needless to say our sandwiches and soup were delicious, and from the looks of it we weren't the only ones that have discovered this gem. Another redo while in Kelowna or Vernon?
