Fee is waived with a purchase. - InfiniTea tropical green tea - hint of coconut. - InfiniTea strawberry kiwi - reminded B of strawberry kiwi fruitopia. We liked their tea infused ciders the most and bought a variety pack ($11.55 for 4) for home. - Wards dry hopped cider - didn't like this one much. Not much depth or flavour. - Ginger cider - very light on the ginger flavour but at least they use fresh ginger. - Harvest spiced cider - you can drink this hot or cold. I liked this one more than the ginger. - Mimosa cider - tasted some orange notes. The packaging is eye catching. Wards ciders were run of the mill. Interesting that you can find their cans cheaper in town at Superstore than at their actual facility.

We dropped in on a Saturday afternoon (around 2:00pm). The inside is quaint but the outdoor patio is cute and relaxing. They also have some merchandise for sale (clothing, snapbacks and growlers). Tastings are $2.00/person but waived if you buy a bottle. We were able to try all 7 of their flavours. They offer discounts if you buy multiple bottles (10% off half case, 20% off full case). Ciders are priced in the $7.17 to $12.13 range (taxes not included) and they offered growler refills ($9.78/L). - The Flume - this is their driest cider which they call "bone dry". We aren't huge fans of the dry varieties but this wasn't bad. - Porter's dry - another dry but this was a bit more earthy in flavour. - Woodland hopper - this was my favourite of the bunch we tried. Well balanced, slightly floral and different. We bought a bottle ($7.78). - Margarita gose - this is their newest flavour and part of their discovery series. An off dry aged on lemon verbena, lemon zest and salt. Perfect for summer. B really liked it so we also bought a bottle ($7.78). - Farm pressed pear - they use four types of pear. Light with a good mouth feel but the pear flavour was a tad too subtle. - Tuesday's original - this is their first cider that they made. Decent for an off-dry but we didn't find it memorable. - Sweet paradise - this was the sweetest of their lineup, hence the name. Enjoyable. Another solid cidery in Summerland. If you're a cider fan, SHC is definitely worth a try.

We came as a walk-in when all the picnic tables were full. One worker was kind and offered to do the tasting by one of their barrels until a table opened up. The other worker wasn't helpful or friendly. - Newtown granny 2020 - a bit more citrusy and mellow. We bought a bottle ($22.00) for home. - Century - Aurora 2020 - this was the same as last year (merlot). Slight off dry finish. Apparently, they use a different grape in each year's edition. - Goldie 2019 - their barrel aged cider. Aged in oak barrels. - Crabby apple - solid like last year's version. - Juice - still as good as we remember. Crazy that it's good to drink for up to 2 months. Decent ciders at C&G. Make a reservation if you don't want to wait. 3.5 stars.

They also have "Pommeau" which they describe as cider-if-it-was-port, and it's unlike anything I've tasted before. Tasting fee is waived if you buy a bottle. My personal favourite is the Pear. The building is a geodesic dome with windows, very neat. My only knock would be the price - it's $15-18 for a 750mL bottle. (As of 2022)

We decided to take the long/scenic route so that we could make a pit stop to their CiderDome. We dropped in on a Friday afternoon (around 1:00pm). It wasn't busy but the server manning the cider bar was friendly and enthusiastic. We both did a tasting (don't believe their was a fee) and sampled 5 flavours. Bottles are in the $14.00 to $18.00 range (taxes included). You save a $1.00/bottle when you buy 3 or 6 bottles. Sadly, they were out of their sparkling orchard ($7.00) which I wanted to buy/try. - Kingston's twist - semi-dry. - Calville blanc - semi-sweet. - Midnight cherry - semi-dry blend of apples and cherries. Enjoyable but I was hoping for more brightness from the cherries. - Tangled rose - semi-sweet blend of apples and Santa Rosa plums. We've had this before and it is delicious. Our favourite! We bought three bottles. - Glo haven - semi-sweet blend of apples and peach. We bought half a dozen bottles for home so that shows how much we enjoy Twisted Hills ciders. Go!

Flights are $10.00 for four pre-selected ciders. Cans are $6.50-8.50, 500 mL bottles are $9.50. Lots of interesting single varietal cider bottles that we wish they offered for sampling. Shared a flight ($10.00); semi-dry, blueberry, peach and raspberry. Semi-dry is still good (not too dry). Peach was the favourite of the three fruit ciders.

The grounds is still as enjoyable and serene as the first time. - Flight ($8.00) - traditional dry, semi-dry, raspberry and haskap. Traditional is fairly standard. Enjoyed the semi-dry more than the traditional. Our favourite was the raspberry; bright, punchy flavour and smelled heavenly on the nose. We bought a bottle ($10.40) for home. The haskap was interesting but paled in comparison to the raspberry. Always a relaxing time with good ciders at Nomad.
