Absolutely the best pet dog boarding service/doggie daycare/dog walking service around. This is a step above any boarding company or doggie daycare center you would normally find. At Dawg On It they treat all of their dog friends as part of their family. They have literally turned their own home into a facility to accommodate the dogs needs. My dog absolutely loves them!! When we are pulling onto their road she starts wagging her tail and perking up. Not to mention half the time she doesn't even want to come home with me because she loves being there so much. She gets to play with all sorts of other dogs, gets love and affection, and even gets to sleep in the bed on overnight visits. A much better alternative than her staying home alone in the house. Lisa and Al have become part of our family over the past 2 years. I would not have been able to be a single dog mom for as long as I did without their help. They are overwhelmingly accommodating to my schedule. Working in health care, I work a lot of funky/last minute shifts, and they were so helpful with always taking Hazel last minute, frequently picking her up and brining her home. There is NO other place that would have worked with me like they did. I also get picture updates throughout the day! I love to see how much fun she is having with the other dogs. We love Dawg Gone It and love Al and Lisa. We started bringing our dog there a few times a week after we had our first child so she (the dog!) could have some fun with other dogs and get the attention she deserved in those first months after the baby was born! And it was perfect. She has such a blast when she's there and comes home totally pooped from all the fun she had. We've taken her to another dog daycare previously but we like Al and Lisa's so much better as they both play with the dogs and really help keep them entertained and having fun. It's really endearing how much they both love dogs. Our dog still really loves it there, and it's really clear that Al and Lisa love her too- which is so important to us! We love Al and Lisa, as does our big doodle. In fact, he loves them so much we sometimes wonder if we are now his second favorites to them! Al and Lisa take the BEST care of our fur baby and we cannot imagine taking him anywhere else. Whether it's for day care or an overnight stay, we know he is in the best hands with his second family. Al and Lisa are fantastic!! They run a clean, well organized, safe and friendly dog daycare and boarding facility. I adopted a puppy in September and when he cannot come to work with me Al and Lisa are the first people I call!! When we pull onto their street Cam knows where we are going and practically jumps out of my car before I can park. People say dogs are a great sense of character and Al and Lisa are beyond great! Lisa and Al clearly love what they do and it shows! Our dog Jet always get excited to hop in the car and go see his friends each week! He has a lot of energy and always comes home wiped from all the playtime. Lisa and Al always accommodate our schedules to make room for Jet whether its is daycare during the week or boarding over the holidays. We recently relocated to the area and are so grateful we found Lisa and Al the owners of Dawg On It. Our Maltipoo Otis loves coming for daycare and boarding. Alan and Lisa are awesome. They have been taking care of our two dogs for almost a year since we relocated to CT from NYC. They are reliable, friendly, trust worthy and are always available.
