We have a 7 month old Bloodhound and 16 month old Australian Shepherd who absolutely lose their mind once we say "wanta go to bow wow"? The staff are fantastic with the dogs and us worrisome parents. Very friendly and professional. Recently we boarded both while my elderly parents were in town. When we picked them up, the youngest had picked up an upper respiratory infection which required a quick trip to the vet and a round of doxycycline. They were fantastic! Text us each day, sometimes more than once to check up on her. This can happen when we bring our babies before their immune systems are fully mature (says our vet). They keep camp bow wow very very clean and are extremely careful with our fur babies. Go with confidence. read more

The Bridgeport staff is wonderful and my pup enjoys his time there. However he has contracted kennel cough and Giardia 2x. The facility does not require a negative fecal test for dogs participating in play, boarding, or trial periods, which facilitates the spread of the parasite. I hope this review brings attention to this issue and prompts the facility to implement a requirement for recent negative fecal samples and to notify pet owners when other dogs exhibit diarrhea or other illness. It is well-known that such environments can harbor bacteria and parasites, but the lack of proactive measures regarding required testing is detrimental to business and the happiness of the pups. read more

Great staff and service. My two fur babies absolutely love coming here. Their days are filled with so much fun and activities. They have an indoor and outdoor space which was a game changer for me. It helped tremendously when it came to reinforcing potty training at home. The activities they have throughout the month are top notch. I have access to the camera to check in on my babies throughout the day if I wanted to. They come home exhausted, almost like they had a busier day than I did at work :) I feel so safe leaving my babies here. I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

this place is by far the best doggie daycare experience I have had- from the moment we walked in the door the staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and patient with my pup. I have a regular groomer whom I've been taking my dog to for several months now but due to her busy schedule I decided to give them a try and boy do I REGRET IT! NEVER I MEAN NEVER has my dog been so mistreated like she was here. Not only did the unexperienced butcher do a rushed uneven job on my dog but she also gave her two cuts to her private area which had my dog miserable for 2 days until I was able to have her seen by the vet. When I took the complaint to the "owner" not once did he even show any concern for my dog WHAT SO EVER! (is this not what his business is solely about) his main objective was trying to prove I was lying (after showing pictures and all) by telling me he had to speak to the groomer as if the butcher is going to admit she had done a horrific job. This individual is new to this place has only been there several weeks and they defended her as if she's been there for years so the hell with the dogs then huh? Not once was I offered a percentage of the vet cost (WHICH WAS OVER 120$) nor a full refund of 95$. Instead I was given 95$ which is what I paid for this horrific experience. Is this business not solely tending to dogs is it not ? yet his priority was making sure no money was returned nor giving a rats ass as a dog parent how I felt. ONE THINGS FOR SURE AND TWO FOR CERTAIN I TOOK MY DOG THERE WITH NO INJURIES WHAT SO EVER PERIOD!! Camp Bow Wow in Bridgeport is a fantastic resource. We have a very high energy border collie. When we get out of the car and she smells that we are at Camp, she is so excited. And she comes home from day care happy and tired! We boarded her there for a weeklong trip over the holidays and the staff were so lovely and accommodating. They gave us advice on things to bring to help her feel at home, and checked in with us several times during the trip. I love the camper cams, and would take a look a couple times a day to see how she was doing. It was fun to see her playing with the other dogs and the staff. We signed her up for enrichment sessions during her stay, and got bonus videos and pictures sent via text. She had a great time, and we were so much more relaxed and happy on our trip knowing that she was in such a fun, safe, and loving place. We will definitely keep visiting! read more
