Highly recommend for car service in Hudson Valley area! They were so easy to communicate with and made my trip feel so seamless.

The owner / driver of this company is terrifyingly rude and aggressive. She came to pick us up (2 young girls) and instead of turning into the parking lot, stopped at the side of the road and started SCREAMING "GET IN THE CAR RIGHT NOW" when I told her my friend needed to grab our bags and we needed a minute she started getting increasingly more aggressive "HURRY WE DONT HAVE TIME" "GET IN RIGHT NOW OR IM LEAVING" (we were going to the train station to make a train, but she could have said that in a calm manner) Imagine being on the side of a dark windy road and an aggressive driver yelling at you. I then told her we were getting an uber instead and she sent a snarky text "You do know that Uber does not work up here" and followed up 20 mins later with "Next time you go to somebody who is sitting on the side of the road with a lot of traffic going by and you're gonna stand on the porch where I can't hear you... Don't accuse me of yelling when I was calling you to my car so I could hear you." Probably to cover her bases in case I posted that she was yelling (which she was) DO NOT use this service. I feel so unsafe. An uber driver in town mentioned to me if she's running a "cabbie service" and not on uber it's likely because she has a record. Stay safe! read more

Dawn 2 Dusk was a life saver for me and my family during our weekend in Windham. We came up here for a wedding weekend and did not have access to a car. I made 6 reservations with Dawn one week in advance and each pickup was on time each and every time. Roy was our driver for the majority of the trips we needed and he was wonderful and very kind. Dawn handled 2 of ours rides herself and she was equally great and on time. We can't thank Dawn and her service enough for helping us get around for these important wedding events. Worst car service ever. Extremely unprofessional, borderline rude, and downright disrespectful. We stayed at the Kaatskill Hotel for two days and it's important to note that Dawn 2 Dusk is the only car service available provided by Kaatskill resort for transportation through the area. This left us with no other choice but to rely on them. The first day we booked a reservation at a nearby restaurant for noon. The day before, we confirmed with Dawn 2 Dusk if they could transport us to and from the restaurant. They confirmed our reservation. Only 50 minutes before our reservation, we receive a text saying that they have to cancel our ride with no explanation or solution provide. When we called to understand the inconvenient situation, we were met with an extremely rude and uncomprehensive. She said, "Its the fourth time I say we cant take you there..." before abruptly hanging up on us. With no other transportation option, we had to pay the expensive cancellation fee to the restaurant. Today the SAME exact situation happened. Despite their previous unprofessionalism from the day before, we called to ask if they had availability today to take us to the same restaurant at 6:30, to which they confirmed our transportation. But at 5:30 we get a text from the same lady saying "Sorry we are down one driver cant take you there." Frustrated at the situation, we called back and mantianed calm despite the repeated poor service. We expressed how unfortunate the situation was given that its the second time this had happened in only two days. We were met with curses, rude responses, and a final "I will block this contact," before hanging up again on us. Her only explanation was saying that they usually dont take rides outside of Windham which we totally undertand, however, if thats the case then they shouldn't confirm with their clients in the first place. Dawn 2 Dusk cancelled on us TWICE, each time with only an hour's notice before our already booked transportation. Not only are we frustrated by the inconvenience of paying two cancellation fees to the restaurant, but we are also appalled by the lady's unprofessional attitude. At the very least, we expected an apology or some sort of acknowledgement of the situation, but that never came, instead we received pure unprofessionalism and an utter lack of comprehension. Dawn 2 Dusk wasted our time and money but even more, they wasted our energy. If you were thinking of using Dawn 2 Dusk services, think again. read more

If this is your only option then it's your only option. Dawn was very on the defense instead of accommodating when our driver came 30 minutes late and doubled our trip time to our reserved destination. It was not Roy's fault. He tried his best and he was so kind I think the management needs to manage firmer. I had high hopes and I was left wanting more. Proceed with caution. Also when we called to explain our grievances Dawn was all excuses and a bit rude. We didn't want any money off out of the experience but she said we were city folk who didn't know what it was like on these back roads even though we are from upstate. read more

Dawn was an absolute hero and an angel. She arrived quickly with the taxi and gave us sound advice in dealing with a tow truck situation in the middle of the night, kept me calm, made me laugh & got us home safe! read more

My party had an awful experience with Dawn 2 Dusk, and I strongly advise you do not use their services. The driver came 30 minutes later than planned. The car was very old, and the A/C barely worked. Then, the driver did not understand how to use the GPS, and seemingly had multiple destinations programmed. So, he thought he was driving us to a winery, but ultimately took us further from our destination. A few people in our party started getting nervous, and I had to start giving the driver directions. What should have been a 10 minute drive took over 30 minutes. We were over an hour late for our reservation. Additionally, Dawn booked only one car for our party of 8. The car could legally only fit 7, though. She didn't give us an option to get two cars, and insisted she was doing the right thing by saving us money. I suppose this is a nice gesture, but I wish I had the option to have a seatbelt and do the legal thing. We called Dawn when we got to the winery, to tell her we would have to push back the pick up time. After all, the driver got us there over an hour late. On the phone, Dawn started yelling. She called us names and was condescending. We didn't even get a word in. She told us that the ride took longer than expected because the town reduced the speed limits and because there was bad cellar service. Of course, neither of these claims were true. Not only did we miss our reservation, but Dawn then harassed our group with long text messages. We tried to ignore her, but the entire event was upsetting and soured the mood during our outing. Then, without asking or telling us, Dawn sent 2 cars to pick us up. This was not to be kind though-- Dawn explicitly wanted to force us to pay double the price that she originally quoted for the trip home. All of this was extremely unprofessional. It made 3 ladies in our group so uncomfortable that they refused to get into the car. They called an Uber home instead, which cost 1/2 as much. This was, by far and away, the worst car service I have ever taken. I've seen others online say this about Dawn 2 Dusk: "there are no other options so they can charge inflated rates, and at least you'll get to your destination." My response: I would have much rather just stayed home. read more

This is THE best taxi service in the area, and it's not even close. Dawn saved us after a hiking misadventure and turned the whole day around with her kindness, flexibility, and extremely cool car. She not only picked us up from the mountain -- where we had been struggling to call an Uber or cab for hours! -- but hung around to drive us to the train station, too. Learn from our mistakes and do not trust the rideshare apps in this area -- Dawn should be your first and only call! read more

Saved my skin during a backpacking trip gone awry! I cut short a backpacking trip and was stranded too far from my car to walk back. They helped me out at a reasonable price. Dawn the dispatcher (and owner!) was glad to help and friendly. read more

Two stars because they got us to where we needed to be. But... 1. One of the drivers was...not great... 2. We sent them the schedule ahead of time which they agreed to, and they took us to the wrong place. We had to remind them of where we were going. 3. We agreed on a time that they would pick us up, and while we were there, they asked if they could change the time to better accommodate THEM. Do not recommend. read more

This is a great car service. Our son was flying into the city and his flight was scheduled to come in around midnight. His flight was delayed, the driver waited for him & kept us informed the entire time. He said the ride was pleasant. I highly recommend this car service. read more

These guys were great! We stayed in Windham for our bachelorette party and these guys were prompt, communicative, reasonably-priced, and drove safely! Pricing isn't available on website and didn't know the pricing until after the service. However, it was affordable and we were able to book last minute. At the end of the day, my guests got home safely and we could pay on Venmo or with card, which was really convenient. read more
