Having a wedding in San Francisco, there were so many photography vendors to choose from but we didn't connect with anyone like we did with Dawn. She's warm, thoughtful, truly interested in your story and the theme you want to come across in your photos from start to finish. I think I'm not the only one with a husband who doesn't particularly love being in front of the camera, but Dawn made him laugh and feel comfortable. Choosing Dawn to be our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions I've made. We were an out of state couple getting married in Sonoma, and so we did most of our communicating via phone and email. Dawn made time to come visit me when I was in town before the wedding so we could meet in person and chat. I did not use Dawn as a wedding photographer (although I wished she photographed mine years ago) but she beautifully photographed my family for our holiday photos for 2015. At the time my son was 5 months old and my daughter was 2 years old. I got married in September and the best decision I made was to hire dawn as our photographer. Our photos came out so incredible, EVERYBODY asks about them. Dawn photographed our wedding in LA a few weeks ago and she was AMAZING.Hiring Dawn was one of the BEST decisions I made for my wedding. She was incredibly communicative from the start and made me feel like she really wanted to understand my vision for the wedding. She has worked Indian weddings before, so she really understood all the colors I wanted to capture during my special day. When my wedding day rolled around, I had no idea just how much of an active role Dawn would take. She honestly felt like she was my wedding planner at times-she is so organized while taking a million pictures! I turned to her for direction, support, clarification on timeline, etc. She was ON IT. In addition, it is so hard to get all your bridal party and family ready and Dawn was on top of it! She got everyone in position and we were on time for everything because of her! I had a big wedding, with a large wedding party, so naturally there were a lot of moving parts in general, but also when it came to getting people together at the right time, and capturing the shots for a lifetime, I needed a leader, and Dawn was just that. Dawn did Senior portraits for both of my children during their final year of high school. I have two very different children and we had two very different photo shoots. I cannot recommend her highly enough for several reasons! First, she was very responsive to phone and also e-mail communications and her follow through was 100% - she did what she said she would do. She had the best attitude at every step of the way, we could tell she loved what she was doing. One thing I really appreciated was how she was never hurried, like our photo shoot was THE most important thing! She had excellent ideas when we were confused about what we wanted.
