This ARCO is far enough off the freeway to be missed, so it has better prices than others catching 99 drivers. Including the one on Fresno Ave where we stopped on our way back. It's much older than the one that was on Herndon Ave. I like ARCO, but I gave this one three stars instead of four. Its AM/PM has the normal things, or at least it's set up for that. We were going to have our dinner meal with AM/PM food (yeah, we're high class, all right). At 6pm, they had almost nothing available. Most AM/PMs have lots of hot food for purchase at great prices. This AM/PM had great prices, but the pickins were slim. I had a chicken burrito that was kinda bleah. At least we convinced our girl to eat that smoked ham & chicken sandwich, and she ate the whole thing. And they do have those monster glasses to put your Coke into. Oh well, it's ARCO, home of low gas prices.

I stopped coming to Costco Gas because it there were long lines even on weekday mornings. This is my second trip on a weekend day in the past few weeks in which there was hardly anyone here. The reason why this location deserves a 5 stars is for the generous attendant that pumped gas for an elderly lady at the pump behind me. The attendant told the woman "May I pump your gas for you? You look so cozy and warm in your car." You don't see that sort of service anymore and I thought it was really kind of him.
