I am starting back on my healthy living journey and came to the gym 2 times this week. Got my flu and Covid vaccines yesterday so my arms are both sore. I needed to get in the gym to loosen up and move, plus workout. My trainer is Ary and she is great! She pushes me to get better at my reps. Ary caters to what my body and mind can handle and this is important to me in what I need from my fitness trainer. There are other trainers as well, a full staff of them. You can choose the trainer you want and you pay the trainer fees to the trainer you choose. The gym was good today, always clean, always supportive, and very well stocked with equipment. I love Daygo Performance gym, it's a neighborhood gym less than 15 mins from my home. I've been at this gym for the past six months. I work specifically with De'Andre who owns Stews Performance. Coach DeAndre, one of the owners of Daygo is very sensitive to the needs of his clients. He's tough, offers a variety of challenging workouts (Mobility, H.I.T.T., PUSH/PULL exercises) daily so I'm never bored. I have right knee issues and he's always conscious of that fact and gives me modifications when necessary. He also ensures his clients properly warms up before exercising as well as post exercise stretching to prevent injury. This is a rarity for a lot of gyms. Since arriving at Daygo and working with De'Andre, I've gotten great results. I lost some weight, gained strength and mobility. I have been going to Daygo Performance and working with DeAndre who owns Stews Performance for 1 year now. I can't say enough about the caliber of person, let alone trainer, DeAndre is. His enthusiasm for health and fitness is remarkable and infectious. Before joining Daygo Performance, I never had more than 1 month of consistency working out. DeAndre has made it so that when I leave a workout session, I feel like I've emptied the tank. But as I'm walking to my truck, I'm looking forward to how good I usually feel the next day, it feels medicinal. He really cares about not just his clients, but the clients of other trainers at Daygo Performance. DeAndre works with you "where you're at" and there is absolutely no pressure whatsoever to compete with other clients. Not only is DeAndre excellent at providing you with exercises to push you for that days workout, but he'll give you tips on what you can do at home to supplement the workouts. He's also very knowledgeable with regards to rehab work. I came in with ankle, knee, back, elbow, and shoulder issues and in the past year, ALL of those issues have been significantly reduced. When those issues bother me, it's for a day or so rather than weeks. So much more I could say about DeAndre and Stews Performance and the welcoming environment in total at Daygo Performance. First of all, Stews Performance is the best of the best. I cannot say enough good things about De'Andre. I started working with him in June of 2020. Since then, De'Andre has not only become my personal trainer but also a friend. Not only have I gotten healthier and achieved my goals, but also learned to value myself and regain my confidence. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Entering my workout journey under Stew's Performance was the greatest decisions I have made this year. With the help of weight loss, muscle strengthening and a healthy mental, he has all the answers and all the help needed mentally and physically. I feel so much better daily, and I look amazing!!! There are a lot of trainers out there but do they all check on you mentally? Do they all stick with you through the entire workout to make sure you are properly performing correctly so you do not get injured? Stew does just that, he makes sure you are on a good balance and that every muscle that is meant to be stretched is stretched and not stressed. Every exercise that is done you will be able to do at home and he has blogs that get you through the week as well! I do leave sore and I burn calories all day, but its a good sore and it shows me that progress is happening and working.
