We stopped here at for breakfast during a recent road trip the doughnuts were good, but the breakfast sandwich was excellent. The staff was friendly, efficient and polite. They had ran out of coffee cup lids which was kind of annoying. read more

Very good donuts, particularly the old fashioned. Although they are a bit overly sweet, they have great crust and moist center. The lemon version has a nice tang. Their maple glazing is also particularly flavorful. There's a nice shady outside seating area that's away from the street. read more

I'm not sure if this place has changed or if the other reviews were written by friends and family, but this place is no where near a 4 star and light years from a five star. The donuts are average. I ordered biscuits n gravy. It tasted exactly like the typical mass produced biscuits n gravy at the cheap hotels free breakfasts. The bacon is oven baked, greasy and half raw. Food is served on cheap paper plates. The dining area is made up of 3 closed in rooms that are hot stuffy. Lots of seniors here, that's great, but the older women are all completing with their 20 year old perfumes and that's nauseating. Service- I asked for a second plate, she said "can't do that ". After food was served I asked for them to cook my bacon more. The server/ cashier said "we can't take it back once it goes out". LOLOL. Did you think about what you said ?? LOL. Only place I have ever been that can't cook an item longer, etc. Poor quality food. Terrible atmosphere, and lousy customer service. I will not return read more

Well, Daylight Donut Bakery probably has great doughnuts. They appeared to be great. We didn't try them though. The breakfast was only so-so and the coffee was ok. Next time we'll probably head over to one of the other coffee places in town. read more

Best breakfast in Chadron hands down! Great family owned establishment! Everything is made from scratch. My favorite things on the menu are the peanut butter cups, and the breakfast burritos. They also serve great coffee drinks, and smoothies. If you are in town around lunchtime they also serve great sandwiches made with homemade bread. read more

Thee are other places to get coffee and breakfast sandwiches as well as breakfast pastries.. But none of them have the same freshness. Daylight has a good selection of products and good service. They also have an early lunch menu which could be over looked. read more

I just ate the best maple bar I've ever had in my life. All of the pastries looked fresh and the breakfast was homemade and delicious. Excellent service, comfy seating in booths. Even the music was enjoyable and unobtrusive. We were just passing through town, and lucked into this place. I'm serious about the maple bar. It was perfection. read more

I love this place. Their coffee is very good along with their Chai. I love how it is a family business and you get to see the same VERY sweet and kind faces. Their ice cream is best in town because they make it right in the shop and have various and great flavors to choose from. LOVE!!! I always feel very welcomes and taken care of here. Even though they are busy in the morning they still have everything in their cases full!
