There are a few donuts that I order at every donut shop to assess the donut making skills: the raised glazed, old fashioned and on occasion the apple fritter. If the glazed donut is light and fluffy, with not too much chew, that's a good glazed donut. The old fashioned donut must be crispy on the outside and not too oily. The Apple fritter too should not be too oily (difficult to do) and crispy on the outside. I didn't order an apple fritter during this visit, but it's a great donut if it is done properly. The glazed donuts were light and fluffy with the right amount of chewiness and the old fashioned was delicious. The lady in the shop was very friendly. I definitely recommend this donut shop.

There was a line when we arrived, and we waited about 15 minutes to order and another 10 minutes or so for our doughnuts. Even with the wait, I'd do it all over again. The doughnuts were incredibly fresh, warm, light, and fluffy. Every flavor we tried was delicious, but the vanilla glazed and the toasted almond sesame cinnamon were my favorite.
