The first time I followed up well in advance, but the second time was more stressful--when I arrived at 6 a.m. to pick up the cake, it wasn't there. To their credit, the staff handled it well. They quickly made a replacement cake for the next day and offered it at half price. They also gave me free rolls the day of, which was a kind gesture, though I would have preferred having the cake as originally planned.
