It's been there 45 years. They're baked goods are made downstairs I was told. I tried the coffee cake, which was excellent, but I did not care for the chocolate croissant. It was very tough and very little chocolate. I did like the outside terrace seating which faced the main street of the Haymarket district. It was shaded and very nice breeze went through there on a hot day. I love the experience of the shop and the terrace, but if I'm looking for good the flavor of coffee, I would probably go somewhere else.

So instead of getting out of my car for a break I sat in the parking lot drinking espresso from a cup. The rest of the staff is so kind and amazing. "Shore thing" iced or hot is amazing. I prefer iced. They also host super cool music so check out their events on Facebook!
