The atmosphere is indeed welcoming as advertised, however the young man and girl who were working the afternoon of April 25, 2026 were far from welcoming. We, 7 senior citizens, arrived around 2, each of us ordered a drink. The 2 employees were not only rude, they actually glared at us with disgust on their faces as if they wished we weren't there. We were the only customers at the time. All of us treated them with respect. Unsure what their problem was with us. read more

rudest women, nasty attitude, just plain hateful and when I looked up who was the owner...I'll just say, I only went in because I support our local small downtown businesses, I already had my morning coffee but on Tuesdays, I've been walking over from the children's museum to get a drink and chat with a friend that works there, nice pleasant way to start my day. I do not need to be talked to with a hateful tone, early in the morning to start my freaking day. Stopped in one drizzly afternoon after my truck got stuck in the mud and I felt really down about things. The two baristas were so kind and fun and gave great recommendations and made my day distinctly better. They didn't even judge me when I made up a silly new drink to try. If I'm back in York I will absolutely come back here to be reminded of the goodness of life and coffee! read more

Our family loves this place! We aren't even from York, but whenever we visit my parents, we make it a point to go there as many times as we can! My kids are obsessed with their smoothies, and I love all their coffee drinks! This last time, I got a Blended Salty Pirate, and it was amazing! Salted caramel and mocha and coffee.... YUM! Helping my daughter move into college, and came across this place. I read the reviews on it and it is a Christian-based business. So because I love God and coffee, I had to try this place. I am a chai tea latte connoisseur. I am super picky about it too. There are only 2 places that I have had a blended "dirty" chai latte and not wanted to throw up (I know I'm dramatic but it's true). The San Diego naval hospital had a small coffee cart onsite and their blended chai tea latte was amazing. The second place was a coffee shop in Waimea on Big Island which is now Lehua Jewelers and no longer exists. So basically, there are no accessible places to get my favorite blended chai tea latte...and then I stumble upon this place. Albeit I don't live in Nebraska, I will have this place to look forward to when I do visit my daughter. The staff is friendly. The ambiance is inviting with couches to sit and read or chat. Supporting local businesses is what everyone should do, and even though I live in California, I will tell anyone in this area to stop by this little coffee shop gem. The only things keeping this back from a five-star review are that the side selections are limited, would be nice to have a bit more pastry and food options, and service was extremely slow, the kid working the day we were there really needs to work on his efficiency. This is a quaint drive-thru coffee shop. It appears to be family run and is in a tiny red building all by itself just off the interstate. Definitely worth a stop if you're driving by on I 80. The young pre-teen who waited on us was all smiles and enthusiastically helpful. Their prices are better than the competition and they accommodated our unique requests with a smile! I have been to this coffee shop a handful of times since it has opened. Generally I have had an excellent experience. The service has been top notch, with great conversation. There have been a few times when the barista wasn't friendly, or didn't make the drink right, but that barista is no longer working there. The prices for the drinks are very reasonable, and customizable to your taste. The coffee shop definitely has an interesting theme, part pirate, part Christian, which is a pretty cool combination. There is a separate room that is ideal for private conversations over coffee. This coffee shop is an asset to the York community. I would recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking for a good drink, even those that don't like coffee. read more

I was excited to try to the coffee place, but it was less than desirable. A large frappichino there is almost $6 and there was no hint of coffee to it. This place is awesome!! The drinks are great and the employees are so hospitable, the owner himself made sure to stop by and chit chat with everyone that walked through the door. Even me, we talked for about 15 minutes! He is a very avid Raider fan (poor guy) and talks forever about his family. This is the kind of cafe a nice little town like York needs.
