Go to a different tint shop. They're unprofessional and they did the old switch a roo with the film tint on me. I asked for the Llumar IRX and paid the premium and thought I wouldn't notice the difference. I told him that it didn't feel like it was blocking the heat as I did on the demo device in his shop and he insisted it was IRX and pretty much told me to kick rocks. I took it to another tint shop that had a heat gun measuring tool and it showed that it was only blocking 60% instead of the 88% advertised so I knew he played me. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I would have loved to give a 5 star rating but will be clear why I am unable to. 3 stars because the tint was installed properly and after few days all bubbles disappeared. In regards to the longevity or how it performs over time over the other type of tints I've gotten in the past, only time can tell. Minus 1 star - cleanliness I observed Pedro on numerous occasions during the install sniffing the microfiber towels before he used it on my vehicle and it came off as unprofessional. There can only be few reason why a person would do that.. 1. To ensure the towels are fresh due to habit as if you just took fresh laundry out of the dryer or 2. To ensure towels doesn't smell like doodoo .. well it didn't pan out for me because for the next few days my car smelled like mildew/doodoo ... With COVID and all the crazy flu going around I highly suggest you stock up on new microfiber towels and use on customers vehicles. Makes no sense to use dirty towels over and over again where sniff test needs to be conducted how much can clean/fresh towels cost or take away from the heavy profit ? .. I would say over time senses get distorted and you don't even realize those towels actually stink .. I had to disinfect the whole car because the smell from those towels bothered me that much Can't be a cook without clean spatula, can't be a mechanic without rachet...in this case can't be a installer without clean towels .. Minus 1 star - communication and customer relations Pedro was quick to give me the price breakdown between regular and ceremic but did not explain the pros and cons of each. Since I have to know what I am paying for, I figured I ask a few questions.. (usually If you are selling something to someone, one would think there is more of an proactive approach in providing information) I don't know if it was early in the morning or what but just didn't feel he wanted to say much. There wasn't even any greetings when we arrived. It was literally walk in got the price, sat and wait and paid .. little friendly gestures goes a long way.. PS: it would help if you put a small trash can in the lobby for customer to use .unless ofcourse you want all the trash under the couch or around the lobby.. understand that people will usually spend few hours or longer waiting around so i also suggest providing some refreshment or water dispenser as a convenience, no one is asking for a 6 star lounge bar but can't accept the fact there isn't even any water available .. restroom is also not available which can be painful for customers with small bladder .. With competition today doing something right the first time doesn't mean customers will come back to you. Providing exceptional customer service will. Overall experience: 10/10 I had an absolutely terrific experience at this shop. Typically, I am treated differently (aka lesser) in the majority of car-related instances. However, that was not the case here! In fact, that is the number one reason why I chose this shop over others -- Pedro treated me with kindness and respect, and was very patient with all of my questions. Added to that, he did not take advantage of my *seeming* lack of knowledge, however, I did quite a bit of research and knew exactly what I wanted. With his patience and his honesty, and also his great pricing, I booked an appointment and was pleasantly surprised! The guy actually got it done in the amount of time that he said he would! I have had quite a few things done not only to this car, but all of my previous cars as well. In all that time, I do not think that I have EVER had a shop taking the designated amount of time that has been quoted to me for a job to be done. Of course, my worry set in when I got the notification it was done, but... Yet again, another pleasant surprise!!! Not only did Pedro get the tint done in the allotted period of time he quoted me (despite the full house he had), the job was AMAZING!!! It looks absolutely spectacular! I have added photos for you to see. There are no wet spots, no bubbles, no dust, just an evenly perfect tint!
