I had my 2027 Rivian R2 tinted at Xact Window Tinting and couldn't be happier with the results. After getting quotes from several shops, I chose Xact because they offered XPEL XR Plus at a very competitive price, and they definitely delivered. My setup: * XPEL XR Plus with lifetime warranty * 55% windshield * 20% front windows * 70% rear windows/drop glass to match the factory privacy glass * Customer-supplied custom honeycomb headlight and taillight tint, hand-cut and installed on-site (no pre-cut templates available for the R2) One thing that really impressed me was that they actually measured the factory panoramic roof glass and showed me that it already had excellent UV and heat rejection. Instead of trying to sell me something I didn't need, they recommended leaving the roof alone, which saved me money. That honesty earned my trust. They also took the time to meter the factory rear privacy glass so the final appearance would be uniform. The front and rear windows match extremely well, which was one of my biggest concerns before choosing a shop. I also brought my own headlight and taillight film. Although they don't normally install customer-supplied material, they were willing to work with me, and because there weren't pre-cut templates available for the new R2, they hand-cut everything on the vehicle. The finished product looks fantastic and really complements the vehicle. Another huge plus was that they completed everything the same day, even with the additional custom work on the lighting. Overall, the workmanship, attention to detail, honesty, and customer service exceeded my expectations. They gave us a great price for partial front PPF on a Tesla Model Y Juniper. The PPF package spanned 20 inches high, covering the front bumper, fenders, headlights, part of the hood, mirror housings, and door handles. They accommodated us for an appointment several days after reaching out. I've lived in Rancho Cucamonga since 2008 and took my first vehicle to Luis at Xact Windiw Tinting to fix a really bad PPF install from another "higly rated" local tint shop. The previous ppf install had visible edge lines, bubbles, glue marks, and even cut the paint on my vehicle when hand cutting the ppf! Xact removed the PPF and replaced it with Xpel Ultimate. The difference was night and day and the PPF was installed perfectly. All edges were tucked and wrapped and looked invisible. Since then I have taken about a dozen vehicles to get tint and PPF. Their installs are top notch and the tint always comes out perfect. About 5 years ago I purchased a new vehicle during the summer but Xact's soonest availability for tint was a few weeks out. I took the vehicle to a well recommended shop near my work and instantly regretted it. A few specs of dirt and lint was on the windshield tint at my eyeline and drove me crazy. The doors turned out perfect with slight imperfections on the smaller rear corner windows. There was also slight bubbling on the front windshield near the top where the glass meets the dashcam. Luckily, they were able to fix the windshield bubbling. However, they could not fix the smaller back corner windows. It was a bit disappointing to hear, but I suppose the Model 3 is a difficult car to tint. read more

The owner Felipe applied a clear ceramic film on the inside of my windshield reducing over 50 percent of the heat that enters my vehicle. I also got a dark limo tint strip on the top of the windshield (legal width per California) for the sun glare. I am extremely happy with the way everything came out. Felipe warranty's his work for lifetime. He has been the shop owner for many years there and is very reliable. He may not be the least expensive, but you get what you pay for. His work is perfection and his skill is truly art. I highly recommend this location for your #tint needs. He also does front bra protection to protect the front of your car.
