DO NOT BOOK HERE! The hotel staff steal your personal belongs and commit fraud by using my credit card that was left in the room! I booked one night and went no where and then checkout out and left my wallet (Fanny pack) in a cubby hole and called and they said they couldn't find it. I had it coming in when I checked in put it in a safe place and woke up and left the next morning with it not on my body-noticed and called them to let them know where I left it. I think get a charge on my cc of 4x 308.58 dollars!!! They have no cameras that work so your things when stolen they will claim they never saw it and they have no cameras to help with prove. I was charged 4x $300 to my credit card that was left in my bag in the room only! This place is not safe and will steal your things and lie about not having it! We stayed one night and I had my bag on the microwave in the cubby hole, and woke up and started driving and forgot I hide it there! And I called the hotel and they said they didn't have it- I reassured them exactly where I put I and I'm 1000% sure it was there. WHILE TALKING I GET A NOTIFICATION OF $1200 attempt to use my card!!! Do not say here!! I can't believe that they have people that would even do that to someone! I asked to talk to the manager Larry and he didn't even try to contact me. DO NOT BOOK HERE!! Everything about my experience with this hotel was poor. First I booked a room with a King sized bed. When I checked in (roughly 5 pm) I was informed they didn't have one, so I took the queen. The hotel was moderately clean. The hallways smelled like pot constantly and there were peanut shells everywhere. It was very noisy (even though the person who checked me in said I was in the quietest part of the building). All night I heard cars and motorcycles revving their engines. The Orange Juice machine spat out basically brown paste which didn't even taste like orange juice. It felt like a crack hotel. read more

Ew. Ok checked in last night... Water was all over the floors. Came to the room... First take and expression...oh Lord help me. I haven't stayed in an inexpensive hotel in years but since our team is staying here...I thought I'd not be bourgeois and try. Gulp! Yes it was ok... The bed sheets had stains.. I've spent two nights here on a work trip. The room is fairly quiet, the water in the shower is hot, the bed is comfy, & everything seems clean. Staff is friendly enough. I haven't had any housekeeping services, but it was posted in the common rooms that services only come every three days (COVID procedure/staff shortage). Spectacular location for Balloon Fiesta goers!!! The staff was super friendly, and the location was superb to scoot down the back way to the Fiesta! The rooms were very clean, and the staff attended to our every need. They were able to get us a shuttle to the casino and suggest a shopping location with great local food. We did splurge for a suite since it was the only room available with a King bed. They served breakfast early for Balloon goers (like waaaay pre dawn). I can't tell you about it since the first morning, we slept in after a long, great night at the casino. On the second morning, we did chose to check out some local fare with some excellent green chile. We will NEVER stay in Albuquerque again for the balloons. This place is much more convenient and much less hectic with all the flavors of Albuquerque! read more

This weekend I had an issue after staying at the Days Inn in Bernalillo New Mexico unfortunately I was charged a $500 smoking fee based off a soda can i I disposed of that had a cigarette butt in it from my vehicle. Unfortunately, the lack of good communication from both parties only made the situation worse. Today, Larry, spoke with me and was extremely understanding and compassionate with my situation and fully refunded the $500 to me. Run Away! My wife and I stayed here during a quick swing through the area to deal with a business matter, and were only in the area for one night. We had secured a room at the adjacent Holiday Inn Express, only to be told upon arrival at 9PM that there was literally "No room at the Inn", but that he'd "hook us up with a rate at the Days Inn since they are owned by the same people". The 'hook you up" rate was $69, which is the same rate you'd pay if you walked in the door. Thanks, buddy, great hook up. We were tired and Bernalillo has little else to offer in the way of lodging, so to the Days Inn we went. Check-in was fine, the place was as clean as you'd expect for a 10-year old Days Inn for 69 bucks a night, but the room was where the real oddities lay... 1. The Bed only contained 12" x 12" Pillows - they looked like Chicklets, not bed pillows. Adorned with normal-sized white pillow cases that were artfully tucked to hide the size difference, they were hard, lumpy, and again, small. 2. The View from the room was of someone's backyard nightmare of old appliances and rotting lumber. Delightful. 3. Large holes in the walls, patched but not painted, and other walls written on with X's and Lines where art might hang, but none stood on this day. 4. The room contained a ceiling fan. This is not a complaint, more of a comment on how I can't remember the last time I was in a hotel room with a ceiling fan. We slept poorly on a hard mattress and the Chiclets gave us a sore neck, but it was better than sleeping in the car. By a smidgen. read more

Yup probably one of the worst hotel experiences that I've had in recent years. Overall building is old but decent shape. Everything looks cheap. No A/C in the common areas, when it's 90+* outside it's a little uncomfortable going from the lobby to your room. Sweating in the elevator isn't fun. No front desk staff on hand when checking in in the evening, there was staff hanging out in lobby but they didn't offer to help me or call the front desk person. "Complimentary" breakfast was not available at the posted time. Waited 15 minutes for the hot food to be put out and to find out it was microwaved sausage and pre-made disc shaped eggs. No thanks I'll just have coffee, oh wait that's crappy too. Off to McD's at least the eggs there are real. Shower was more of a sprinkle than a shower and water temp fluctuated for burning hot to tepid warm. Room is good size but beds are hard and the pillows have been reduced to the size for couch throw pillows. read more

My family stayed at this Days Inn last month. I had requested a roll away bed when I set up the reservations. They told me to call right before we were to arrive to reserve it. I called the day before we were to arrive. When we arrived they had given the bed to someone else. This was the start of what turned out to be a horrible experience with this hotel. Getting a blow up bed at Walmart wasn't the end of the world. The first night, the air conditioner ran all night and could barely keep the room cool enough to sleep. We are from Phoenix and are no strangers to heat. The AC was old and inadequate for the job. Again, it wasn't like the AC didn't work at all, so we just lived with it. The pool was closed. Apparently thanks to Covid, so that wasn't a big deal. But there was no mention of this fact on their webpage. Their key cards only worked about 10% of the time on the outside doors. The hall ways are all not air conditioned and so were hot and stuffy. The final straw was on our last night of a 4 night stay. We had just drifted off to sleep when a loud crash happened inside our room. We turned on the light to discover a full length wall mirror had detached from the wall and shattered all over our luggage and the floor. I immediately called the front desk. It was attached to the wall by six spots of glue instead of anchors to the drywall or studs. The guy came up with a tiny trash can and a broom. We are talking a 6 foot tall mirror. Once he saw it, he returned with a slightly larger trash can. I told him they need a shop vac to get all the shards of glass off the floor. They don't have a shop vac, and it was clear it was going to take a lot more time to get this cleaned up. So, at 12:30 at night they moved us to another room. We were handed another key card and were left to move all of our stuff in the middle of the night. The next morning while checking out, to add insult to injury, the manager (Travis) decided to charge us for the broken mirror!!! I refused to pay it and demanded I talk to him. He was "not reachable" and I was told I could wait for him, but they didn't know how long he would be. We were on our way our of town so I couldn't just spend the day waiting for him. I then called Days Inn corporate to complain. They said I needed to talk to the manager and then hung up on me. The next day, once home, I called to talk to Travis. Big surprise, he wasn't available. I left a message for him to call me back, but he never did. I then contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge for the damage. This was the worst customer service I have ever had at a hotel and then to charge us for something that was not only not our fault, but to refuse to even talk to me about was just over the top. Horrible experience! Avoid this place. Motel 6 is just down the street. read more

The furniture was tattered, the AC sounded like a freight train, the faucet handle in the bathroom broke off, stains in carpet and ice machine was right outside door where you heard guests fill up chests in the am. Rented 3 rooms to attend a wedding and didn't have time to change or I would have. The management needs to take care of these issues and be held accountable. I've come to rely on Days Inns when I'm looking for a decent inexpensive hotel. We were driving from Phoenix to Denver and looking for a place to stay for the night. We happened upon this hotel by simply following the blue Service sign on the highway and skipping over the Motel 6 and Regal 8 in the same area. Glad we did. They have basic rooms with clean sheets, a desk, a TV and a bathroom. They include a continental breakfast that featured fresh (make them yourself) Belgian waffles. Not bad for $55/night. read more

The guy at the front desk was rude the moment I walked in. He seemed upset that I was distracting him from what he was doing on the computer and kept his headphones on the entire time I checked in. He was especially nasty about my dog. At 1:45am I received a call from the front desk telling me I was in the wrong room. He said "you don't have a reservation and that room is for someone else". The moron was the reason that I was put in the wrong room. I was woken up again by house keeping at 8am. After several times say I am sleeping they still walked in. I was hesitant to book a room here because of past experiences at Days Inn where it was like an older motel and not clean, but this Days Inn was really nice. We only stayed a couple hours and they only had one bed but my friend and I were exhausted from our road trip and didn't think we could make it quite to Albuquerque. The night staff was just okay and I was hoping to get a good rate being as it was 5 am and we were leaving by 8 am, but nope. The staff acted like we couldn't pay with one card and hold incidentals on another so we just put it all on one. The room surprised me with the free water and granola bars and it was actually really quite nice- I was kind of shocked that I was expecting a kind of crappy room. Also, the bathrooms in lobby were out of order. Breakfast doesn't have a full kitchen so it's mostly heat and serve items. There wasn't much to pick at here. I asked if they had wheat bread and the breakfast attendant got me some to toast. They really need more options to choose from and healthier options. The manager was very friendly at check out and chatted us up over coffee. Overall pretty decent stay. read more

Nice place. I usually stay in Hilton's and Marriotts. I wasn't expecting much here and was pleasantly surprised. Front desk was nice. Room was clean. Only issues is noise. But headphones took care of that. And the pillows were so uncomfortable for me. Like sleeping on a beachball. But I guess someone else might love that. They also accept dogs for $10 fee. Had a choice of two hotels at $40 a night, figuring you get what you pay for I chose Days Inn by Wyndham Bernalillo at $67. Wrong it was horrible. If I hadn't been sick with a cold and driven over 400 miles I would have been gone. It was like walking into an old dorm room! Comforter had been washed so many times it was just lumps. Room was clean. Breakfast was very good, nice selection. At the price I paid I could and should have gone up to the casino. I will say the man at the desk was very polite and helpful. Checked in for 3 night stay, had 2 rooms reserved. Room 212 smelled of cigarette smoke reported to check in clerk, offered a change but we brought spray. House keeping didn't bother touching our rooms after the first night, came back to the room in the evening just as we left them in the morning, huge disappointment. As a business traveler and gambler I wanted to find a hotel near one of my favorite casinos and, through Expedia, I choose to stay at the Days Inn. I've passed many times and the area looked safe and I decided to give it a try. I liked it a lot. It will now be my place to stay when I'm in the Albuquerque area. The AC worked and the room was clean and that was good enough for me. It's also conveniently located with a Walgreen's and Starbucks very close by which was a major plus. I prepaid for an accommodation here, and I drove 10 hours straight through ice and snow to get here. The overnight clerk was rude and unaccommodating when I arrived. He began asking me why I was coming in so late when it clearly states on website the front desk is open 24 hours. I then asked for a receipt and was refused one. I requested a room on an upper floor, and he tried to stick me in the middle of the hallway away from the elevator and stairwell when there was hardly any people staying at the hotel w/few cars in the lot. It was obvious it was retaliation towards me. I then left the property without staying due to his rudeness asking for a refund. They refused to grant it and had to call the booking company to intervene. I was up all night out in the cold due to this horrible overnight clerk not giving me a refund. I then went to the hotel the following day to speak to the manager who was equally rude. She hadn't even charged the credit card because she did it right in front of me trying to get me to stay a new day to keep my money and then charge the card. It's obvious the clerk the night before could have easily refunded the $ when it hadn't even been charged. I then felt bamboozled and checked into the room since they had my $ and wouldn't give it back trying to keep my $. The heater in the room did not function properly. I then went down to the desk the next day to talk to the manager for something else, and my glasses were left at the front desk around 1 PM. There was no one else left in the hotel but me as all had checked out. The manager didn't even make an attempt to call my room or even bring them up to me and just kept them at the front desk. When I searched my room an hour later, I realized the glasses must be at the desk. When I confronted her why she didn't say a word to me to bring them to me or call the room, I was lied to that she didn't know who they belonged to even though I had put them on in front of her when conducting business, so she knew who they belonged to. It was apparent she was also retaliating against me due to my complaints re her overnight clerk and asking for a refund. The hotel is conducting itself in an unethical and unprofessional manner, and I would not recommend staying here. I will not give them my business again in the future after this experience. read more
