Nice looking hotel, clean, check-in staff was friendly. Then we took the kids to enjoy the pool before check-out and missed 11am by LITERALLY 2 MINUTES. We were rushing down the hall in our bathing suits and tried to badge in at 11:01, but the card had already been deactivated. I told the gentleman at the front desk and he was unmoved. Said there was absolutely no way he could allow us into the pool, as it was after checkout time -- by two minutes. Sorry Charlie, hope you enjoyed your stay, now get out! I get it, rules are rules, but I was astonished he wasn't willing to let the kids swim for a bit before we left. A nice empathetic guest let us in and the kids swam for a bit, until this guy comes in and threatens to call security! This place is a lovely looking ghost town. The parking lot is empty. They have nothing but slots. No poker. Very disappointed. Booked the Sandia Resort and Casino up the road the following night, which was AMAZING. We had a bad experience. If it weren't for that incident, I would have given them at least 4 stars. You may have a wonderful visit, as long as nothing like this happens to you. read more

I stayed here for the first time thanks to receiving 3 free comp nights. Check In staff was very friendly and helpful with any of my questions. Rooms are large, comfy and nicely decorated. My room had a nice view of the Sandia Mountains (picture below). Only downside for me is they do not have a continental type breakfast. read more

The service was horrible. We came in and asked for a table, and the server/host told us an outdoor table would be ready in a few minutes for our party of seven. The server/host even showed us exactly where we would be sitting. While we were waiting, another large party arrived. When our table became available, that group argued that they had arrived first, even though they clearly had not. Despite knowing this, the server/host gave our table to the other family. To make matters worse, the other family surrounded me as I spoke to the server/host and insisted the table was theirs. Unfortunately our stay of one night was ended early and not the best due to one rude, potentially racist bartender in the cantina. One of our group said he wanted a drink and has a slight accent so he says vodka a little differently. This bartender made fun of the way he said it, condescended him, and refused to serve him. There were 5 of us and it was obvious no one was intoxicated. The entire interaction was very odd and upsetting. Absolutely loved staying here! First let me start I made my reservation for a work related event for two different weekends but I would absolutely stay here again for recreation. I stayed here back when the hotel first opened. I will say they have fixed their growing pains. The hotel staff was fantastic and were absolutely wonderful hosts. My room was comfy and well kept. The first weekend worked out amazing since hubby hit a jackpot and covered all our expenses. Looking forward to my next event in July! read more

Poor care despite full cost. I was there for an 8 day stay because it was my daughters wedding. On the day I arrived 1 elevator was out, by day 4 a second elevator was out and so for last 4 days we had 1 elevator serving full 10 story hotel. We ended up late for ceremony because elevators were full by the time they arrived at the 4th floor where we were staying. They are not cleaning rooms during extended stay - no linen changes, trash removal. There are no new towels, coffee, water bottles etc unless you chase down someone working on a room someone checked out of. I can understand maybe not everyday because of Covid protocols but 8 days is a bit more than is reasonable. If you want to eat in the steak house be sure you make reservations, we went @ 5:30 and "there were no seats available until 7:00. Even though there were many open tables visible. read more

Stayed at the hotel and things seemed great. Then getting up and ready for the morning found out there was no hot water. Reading other reviews seems like this is a common issue. Would advise if you value your dollar and hygiene don't stay here with intent to enjoy the showers! If you just want to enjoy the other amenities then you'll be good but let it be known there is no hot water in the mornings! And if you complain or bring it up there is no reaction or care or reimbursement. Just an offer to send maintenance that can do nothing about it. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE! I'm warning everyone how awful and absolutely disheartening this place is. Not only was almost every staff member very rude to my family and I, we even had one staff member blatantly and unapologetically accuse us of potentially giving our pools bands away after leaving the hotel. The staff ironically named Karyn walked up to my family as we were drying off with scissors in her hand and I quote " I need to cut those off of you all because people like you tend to give them away after you leave here" I was shocked and absolutely disgusted! After letting the manager know she said she would deal with it and be in contact with my wife which has not happened. If we do not hear back from management I may consider following up with local authorities to address the racist and completely ignorant use of power which could be considered harassment. read more

This place is absolutely garbage. The food sucked. I'd rather walk across the street to Blake'sLotaburger. You can't get food at a certain time of the night. And the workers will change the menu and say they don't have it, but if you ask another worker they do. The food tastes terrible and it's expensive. The only reason you should ever go over there to gamble. Don't try to eat the food you're gonna get sick and the hotel rooms everybody's up at every hour of the night banging on walls. I thought the hotel was super cute. The rooms were spacious. Getting set up at the front desk was a breeze. They did not have laundry service or room service when I went, which was a bummer, but they do have some restaurants opened downstairs. Pros: -It's safer to stay here than most places in ALBQ itself so that's good. I didn't have to worry about my vehicle being robbed. -The rooms are comfy and the beds large. -the casino is right there so it's convenient if that's your thing. -To eat, there's a fancy restaurant and a cafeteria style place. We did the cafeteria style place once on our way out and it was okay. Cons: -the maids didn't service our room. If we're paying $343 for one night during balloon festival, please clean the damn room. -while walking back to my room the first night, 5 security guards were handling a police situation on their own without police there. I could hear someone moaning and yelling from the room. I don't know why they didn't call the EMT's or police to handle it, it was very strange. They had formed a blockade around the door so that no one could get in or out. -the pool worker became very anal about my son wearing a wristband in the pool, even though we had a key to get into the pool area. I had to drag my son out of the pool to walk to the front desk dripping wet to get the stupid thing. The worker called security on me because she didn't like that I told her the pool worker the first night we were there let us in with our key only. It's okay to stay at but remember that because it's tribally owned, they can do whatever they want. read more

Rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable. Only 2 coffee k-cups per room so bring your own if you want more. The on-site food options are not very good. The over priced steak house or the food court are the only things available. We are used to 24 hour cafe/coffee shops at casinos. Food court only has 2 options for lunch/dinner. One Asian fast food and on American/Mexican fast food. Several empty restaurant venues in the food court. You must prepay at a cashier in the food court and then given a order number for you food. Very slow, confusing and strange process. The casino was busy for a Sunday nite, but we went home empty handed. We will not be back. read more

Came down from San Antonio to support family retirement from Air Force . My 18 year old niece and nephew went to get food from the food court , I was about 15 mins behind them , with my kids and husband . Next thing I know my niece and nephew are being followed by a women. I asked is everything was okay , and what was going on. She stated they cannot be on the casino floor or food court . You need to walk through casino to get to food court though . Lol The older lady was very rude , and told us rules that weren't accurate. We all walk to food court and run into family next thing you know she's behind us with a security guard!!! He tells us something completely different . Point blank horrible customer service! Also drinks aren't allowed outside of there bar. We had no idea and we're escorted to the bar mind you me and my husband are not children we do not need to be escorted lol. I give the hotel five stars because I have been to their juniper steak restaurant and had nothing but good experience and a wonderful meal. I have also been to a wedding at this venue and was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't sure what to expect from do hotel just opening up. But they pulled off this wedding beautifully. It was just the perfect amount of room per table it was set up very nicely the waiting staff was so accommodating it was just a really nice experience. I just wish that the banquet rooms were big enough to be able to have a prom there. It would be a beautiful place and easy access for Cleveland High School and Rio Rancho High School. This hotel is fairly new, and it really has some beautiful features. Upon entry you feel like this must be a very expensive place with lots of marble, greenery, waterfall, granite, a bell person station and door people waiting to welcome you as they open the doors. There are chairs, round couches and all employees in uniform. We stayed in a deluxe room with a view of the Sandia mountains - gorgeous! Everything is new, it smells good, it looks good and it is so worth the money which is very inexpensive. Flat screen tv, floor to ceiling windows, modern bath, and very very nice and friendly employees everywhere. Now, my reason for not giving this hotel 5-stars. I am very particular about fabrics being very soft and unfortunately the bed sheets were a bit scratchy, as well as the bath towels. The sheets and towels were clean, 100% cotton but without fabric softener. Don't let this hold you back from staying here, it is a great hotel, including free breakfast! read more

A year ago I stayed at the hotel for a conference. Had numerous issues. I contacted the General Manager and was told that the next stay would be on them to make up for the multiple issues. So my conference was there again this year. I called to see about using the promised room. I was told that they had no idea and that the manager I had spoke too was no longer with the hotel. As the conference was there and I needed a hotel room went forward with a reservation. Again there were issues with the room the bedding was covered in hair and the trash had not been thrown. When I mentioned it they said they would not move me but have cleaning come and clean again. This never happened. When I went to breakfast hot items were cold and cold items were warm. There is a sign to wait to be seated. After waiting 5 minutes I went looking for some one and found the staff in the corner taking selfies. It is clear that they have not worked on issues and they seem to be getting worse. read more

Honestly for the price it is worth it. We stayed here at our stay in Albuquerque and I was nervous at first to stay at a casino and not entirely be interested in the casino, but it was great. There is easy access to the hotel which I was worried how far we would have to park. Then the rooms were very clean with tall ceilings and large windows. They have a flat screen tv, coffee maker and a small desk area. I loved it here and I think it is worth the price. I feel like this day and age you cannot find something for this price, so it is hard to complain. Oh ended up going to the casino anyway and had a lot of fun! They also have a pool and hot tub if you have kids and they want to go swimming. Worth it. read more

I had a problem at the end of my stay where my room key wouldn't work, so the staff gave me a new key and it didn't work. Housekeeping key didn't work, maintenance key didn't work, it took about 45 minutes for them to finally get security to use the master key. Then when we checked out they admitted that they have had problems with that room before, so why did they even give us that room in the first place, and why didn't they use the master key immediately? I risked missing my flight because of this. The rest of the stay was ok, but each of my family's rooms had trouble getting hot water, no microwaves in the rooms, and they didn't have an ADA room for my grandmother. Other than a couple of glitches checking in early in the afternoon, I really enjoyed my stay here. First off, all rooms do not have tubs which I found out after check in. Jaime, front desk, was remarkable in having my room changed for the remaining days. The rooms are spotless and well maintained, my only negative are the bath towels. They are natty and rough feeling. The rooms are extremely quiet and the window shades block out all outside light. This is one of the best therapeutic tubs I've ever seen in a hotel, deep and long, very nice. The complimentary breakfast is great but wears thin after the second day. The staff that maintain the buffet are hard working and pleasant to be around. I was shocked that most people don't tip the servers. Overall A++ rating for this property and I'll definitely be back. read more

My daughter had her wedding there this weekend . The hotel, the staff and the experience was absolutely amazing . They did everything they could do to accommodate us from our rehearsal , to the dinner, ceremony, and reception. The banquet staff was so professional and welcoming that all u had to do was ask and know that it was being taken care of . We did have a few problems with our hotel reservations but they seemed to have all figured out before we left . Thank u again for such a great event and what a wonderful surprise to find a note signed from their staff that was handwritten and signed by all involved to show their attention to details . BED BUGS and bad bed. First, I came home with bed bugs. I called the hotel, and asked to speak to a manager. They asked what was wrong so they would know who to send me to. I said I got bed bugs there. Was routed to Security, who had no idea why they got the call or what to do. They took my name and number bet never called back. Also had a horrible sleep because mattress way too firm, and pillows sucked. Also accidentally left my cell phone charger behind, still plugged into the wall. After 5 paid nights and thousands spent on dining and casino we were told to walk. Checking out, Kaitlin, had the worst customer service. We had a moving truck parked on casino side way out. Hotel entrance on opposite side. Casino was closed so we couldn't walk through. With two large suitcases we were told to walk. we would have had to roll luggage out to main road and through gravel. With two golf carts sitting out front. I asked for supervisor and got 5 security guards instead. One the guards escorted me through closed casino so I could get to truck while my wife waited with luggage. It's so sad having to beg for help. Not for this amount of money. read more

I'll be traveling to this area 6 days a month and had hoped to make this place my home while here, but front desk staff definitely seems to pick and choose who they extend graciousness to. The woman who checked me in while happy to flirt with the guys in front of me, was outwardly rude when I stepped up to the counter, giving me zero info about my room, parking, facilities, services, etc. I had to literally pull the info out of her. Wanting very badly to recoup my faith in the place, still intent upon making it my home away from home, someone pointed me to a supervisor the next day when my key wasn't working. I decided to give her a chance to make up for the night before by telling her how I was made to feel, hoping she would do or say something to re-earn my business. Just as rude, she outwardly refused, couldn't be bothered and left me thinking it was easy to see who the other girl had been trained by. No bigger... I likewise can't be bothered with trying to make an impression of how inhospitable they can be upon them. I simply won't be back. Clean with one of the better indoor hotel pools I've seen. Even had a bar with a small selection of drinks but it was great for getting a few brews while at the pool. One of the few places outside of Nevada you can bet on sports is right in this hotel so that was a fun deal too. Hotel was reasonably priced for last minute. I'd stay again. This is a beautiful hotel! I stayed in the Executive King Suite with a view with my boyfriend and had a wonderful time. Everything was extremely clean, organized and stylish. The swimming pool was sooooo relaxing after a long day along with the hot tub. The complementary breakfast in the morning was delicious and filling. There were parts of the hotel I didn't get to experience because of age restrictions, but I'm sure they are just as nice. It was an affordable rate of 114$ for the room. Love this property! It's beautiful. The staff provided exceptional customer service. Jamie at the front desk was great. She upgraded me to a suite (just because) and I absolutely loved my room. I decided to stay at the property because I was at the casino and it started snowing and I did not want to risk driving home. I didn't have any toiletries and the front desk agents gave me all the essentials. The bed was very comfortable and I woke up to a beautiful view with snow!
