My husband and I typically stay at a Hilton brand property during our travels, because of our points. We booked into the Days Inn Madison, FL, because we had family coming in to visit with my mother-in-law. So, we went off script, and stayed here to be near hubby's sister and brother-in-law. My first impression of the property was not so great. The lobby is tiny--the size of my dining room at home (keep in mind that's where the free breakfast is in the morning). The lady at registration was pleasant. When we got to our room, we noticed that lots of other hotel guests had rolled their desk chairs out onto in front of their rooms and were having an impromptu happy hour. It was just a bunch of men--at least a dozen men. If I'd been traveling alone, I would have been extremely uncomfortable. I asked the lady at registration to switch our room to one closer to our family our room had not been properly cleaned. There was a sticky drink ring on the night stand. A very obvious, sticky drink ring. She politely switched our room and we settled into our new room. The rooms--both the one we started with and the one we ended with--smell musty and moldy. They are in dire need of a complete revamp to bring them up to acceptable standards. I slept with my night shirt pulled up over my nose to stop my coughing from the moldy smell. So, if you find yourself between Tallahassee and Lake City, do yourself a favor and drive on to one or the other for a better property. If you must stay in Madison, they have a Best Western that may be better--I'm not sure. Anything would probably be better than this miserably sad hotel on the side of the road.

Horrible and filthy. Menstrual blood on the mattress cover, drool stains on pillow cases, filthy and sticky floors, bugs, pee around the toilet, couches were filthy, exposed wires in switches and outlets, short in the bathroom light, mold and dust on the vents...... and refused to give another room or refund us. I'd rather sleep on a gas station bathroom floor!!!

One of the finest & most expensive hotels in Thomasville, Georgia. Conveniently located in downtown…read moreand a walk away from churches, restaurants, shops, and attractions. It was close to all the places we needed to go in Thomasville. I loved the new furnishings and the spacious ambience of the hotel. At $110 a night, it is on the pricey side. We stayed two nights. We liked how impressive and clean our room was upon entering. The sensor light in the large mirror at the entrance was a nice touch. The bathroom shower was modern and the long shower there was a relief. There were very few to no concerns. I looked in the closet to use a spare throw blanket. I found spare bed sheets and a pillow with a blood spot. They have a Keurig coffee machine and coffee inside the room, a fridge, and microwave are free amenities inside the room, yet there is no free breakfast and coffee downstairs. They do have a small Shoppette to buy necessities and bistro to buy meals & drinks in the lobby. Two large hot coffees in the lobby cost us $18. The menu looked good yet expensive as well. We opted eating the snacks & food we had on us and buying a quick ready meal from Publix. If you want to stay a walk away from certain places and attractions in downtown, this hotel is very ideal & convenient.

This place screams luxury. Parking is awkward but the rooms are spacious and comfy. Extra seating…read moreand space. Small fridge did the job. Water pressure and temp was perfect. Bed perfect. Eating available downstairs and coffee costs but handy. Nearby most of your travel needs.
