To start my wife's goggles were so scratched she had trouble seeing, mine weren't much better. She tried a few and all were pretty low visibility. The jumpsuits were clean, but there was no neck protection. Multiple times glass was flying fast and hit us. Overall, we had a lot of fun smashing things, and had to purchase many other items to smash as one crate was not enough for our hearts desire!

We went in and were informed an online reservation could be made, so we dashed to the website, which is well designed and easy to maneuver, and made a reservation. Upon returning, we were paired with an "Axe Master", who was knowledgeable and guided us through axe throwing technique and etiquette. In no time, we were hurling axes with precision, jamming them into the bullseye of the wooded targets. What a delightful way to spend an afternoon!! Tomahawks 51, you are da bomb indeed!

The dance floor was utilized and my dad "shook his tail feathers". This space is adjacent to Four Points by Sheraton and I worked with Jennifer O'Neal (of Four Points). She made the entire process painless and was very accommodating. Parking was shared with Four Points, but also available across the street, at the church. Again, I highly recommend this space.

11/16/2019 Came on the last weekend of the fair (Saturday night) and yes it was packed with long…read morelines and hard to find parking. This is a good sign! Lots of people means it is very popular. We actually parked outside of the venue in a private lot for $5 which was an excellent value. The lines of cars and associated traffic jams were almost at a complete standstill and we only walked 1 block to get in! The line for entry tickets was super long and moving slowly as well. Another person in line mentioned that the North Florida Fair has a website with online ticket sales! So we logged in on our smartphones, filled out the necessary credit card information and were able to purchase $8 general admission entry tickets in a snap! (a small $1 service charge was applied per ticket) A barcode was emailed to us which was scanned at the gate on our iPhones and we were in! We cut our entry wait time to zero! Sweet! Once inside we were immediately immersed into the lights, sounds and smells that define a fair. It was euphoric. We visited the pavilions first to see the many various categories of Fair contests all competing for that coveted 1st place blue ribbon! Livestock, arts, plants, prepared foods, quilts, etc., all in a friendly competition judged by I'm sure impeccable non-biased judges with excellent palates and senses, and having the knowledge of what it takes to choose a winner. It is so inspiring to see the local and surrounding communities coming together to be a part of such a wonderful fair tradition! As we meandered down the midway it seemed everyone had smiles on their faces, the twinkle of glittering lights in their eyes, handfuls of foods and puppy love teens clasping hands. I wasn't surprised to see long lines for the more popular rides which seemed to move at a snails pace. There was an option to pay $35 which included main gate entry and unlimited rides. The fair was supposed to be open until the wee hours of Sunday morning and as the night wore on the crowds thinned out and the ride lines shortened. I'm pretty sure that those with the unlimited ride passes were able to get their monies worth as early birds departed. I am a big fan of distractions. Life's distractions. The fair provides a way to let go of your daily grind temporarily to enjoy some fun family time or just do a little thrill seeking. The North Florida Fair delivers.

When I went, it was to go see Fluffy live, and well, while traffic did not compare to big city life, for this small city, it was quite a lot. We had floor seats all the way at the back, so we could see the show rather close up, but nevertheless, we could have gotten better seats. At any rate, the show went off without a hitch. They even had a cart for some drinks, some of which we bought and partook in. I don't remember what I ordered, but it wasn't half bad. Would return to this venue no issue.

My boyfriend and I were greeted so nicely by the Owner, Kevin. He was delightful to talk to. My boyfriend being the talkative butterfly chatted with him while I browsed around the lounge. It is honestly like a Blockbuster! (Sad days...that Blockbusters are gone) HOWEVER, this Retro rental DVD place is the New Blockbuster in Tally hehe. Rental DVDs from classic to new movies & tv shows ! Before, I took pics about this place. I wanted to ask Kevin for his permission because I was not sure if Kevin would find it to be rude. He told me, "Nah go for it, but make sure to tag my business" So I went at it. I learned a coupe of things from checking his place out: - Renting DVD's varies -Theres a Rental Theater Room in the back of the place, it's like a secret door you got through! *** You can rent the place for 2 hours for $80; bring your dvd and bring whatever treats your heart desires*** [Oh!] The place even has sweets and freshly popped popcorn so you don't have to bring your own sweets & popcorn. Of course can't forget refreshers :) ---Kevin has it all! Overall, I am jelly that Tally has such a cool place to rent DVDs with such a cool Owner. If you want somewhere to watch marathons of any of these kinds of films for a small fee, or if you want to rent a title that isn't immediately available on Hulu, Netflix, etc. this is an amazing place to go. This is *the* go-to place if you want to see classic John Carpenter or Lloyd Kaufman flicks and sometimes more offbeat and obscure titles back-to-back. There is a bar counter here that is set up like an old-timey soda fountain where you can sit and make small talk with your fellow fans of obscure and cult cinema (of whom at least a few are bound to show up). Live music events for alternative genres like punk and death rock are also sporadically a thing here: sometimes featuring local acts, sometimes featuring small label acts on tour. And if you're a fan of the style of artists like TSOL and The Damned, this is definitely going to be one of your go-to places in town and absolutely will be your scene. Bonus: hopefully this doesn't cross anyone's boundaries, but I gotta say the couple who run this place are extremely cool and attractive, and always wonderful to be around!

The cover charge is $10 for singles on the weekends and it's well worth it. Couples are charged $15, so walk in with your significant other. The bands are exceptional. High quality with 5-7 members in each band. Quality crowd as well. You will not find any loud crowds or red necks here. The people and the workers are extremely nice. You feel at home here. The drinks are less about $3. The beer is $2.50 to $2.75 even for brands such as Corona and imports. The selection on tap is 5 or less brands. You walk up to the bar to get your drinks and it's fast and friendly service. There is also a restaurant on site in the next room. I will visit it on my next trip. Bands during the week are obviously smaller and not sure what the cover charge is, if any. There is ample seating and parking. On the weekends, the QUALITY band plays almost no stop from about 8 to just past 11. I like to review the military history on the walls and show cases as well. No smoking -- except on the big back deck overlooking Lake Ella.
