One of those things has been tooth pain and finding out I needed to have a root canal before leaving. I was referred to Uzzel Dental Group by a friend and they were able to schedule to see me within two weeks. Dr. Uzzel is the most gentle, kind, and exceptionally talented Dentist I have ever been treated by. He and his staff have been clear with all that is going on and how they would treat it. Dr. Kristy Bultema at Beavercreek Endodontics who he referred to perform my root canal itself was warm and comforting (even after having some not so fun side effects from the numbing agent) and did an amazing job. Then to top it all off due to some PCSing gymnastics I had to wait at Dr. Uzzel's office for a couple of hours after walking across the street from having my root canal done to put the permanent crown on and his staff has been absolutely amazing. (To reiterate the wait was not their fault it was due to PCSing fun. If anything it was a huge favor to squeeze me in before our out processing date.) His staff has taken care of me all morning. Treating me like family. Even giving me snacks and making sure I have been comfortable. Additionally, I had a beautiful connection with a fellow patient that was extremely encouraging. I would recommend Uzzel Dental Group and Beavercreek Endodontics to anyone looking for dental care in the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base area. **Dental "Lost" Disappointing Experience**…read more I had a very disappointing experience at this dental practice, TWICE! Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. First visit, Nov 2023- exam and such at Dental Loft and I'm told I have a cavity and need a filling. I pass on the filling at the time. March 2024- I go to the VA and through all of the poking and prodding and another set of x-rays, they cannot find any evidence of my tooth having a cavity or needing filling. My trust is a bit skewed now but I'm going to give Dental Loft another shot. For the Nov 2023 and May 2024 appointments at Dental Loft, the welcome to the office was great. The staff at the front desk were super friendly upbeat, and very welcoming. They appeared to be glad to be there and exuded a great vibe. They are truly the gold standard for welcoming to an environment like a medical or dental practice and should be commended. Unfortunately, that's where the positive ends and the negative begins. The equipment is clearly outdated, making me question the quality of care. I am a biomedical equipment technician and have done extensive maintenance and repair on literally hundreds of dental chairs and equipment- while this wasn't the worst I've seen, it is definitely in the bottom 50% easily. From the aged look of the equipment, to wires being visible (not dangerous, but very poor aesthetics). Drop the prestige of being at The Greene and go somewhere else where rent is less and update your equipment! It looks like the equipment was installed 20+ years ago and hasn't been touched since. When I finally was seen, the dental hygienist cleaning felt mediocre. She merely checked the box for polishing each tooth, incredibly rushed and not thorough at all barely touching many of them. If you are polishing the teeth, POLISH them, not just barely run across most of them. I think a retraining is in order as it was incredibly lackadaisical. There is probably a time quota which she had to blow out of the water because it was so brief. $149 for the "prophylaxis" was a waste.

They were billing 2 different dental insurance companies we had and not doing coordination of…read morebenefits. The 2 coverages we had did not know about the other companies so they were both being billed as primaries. This dental company was collecting more than the original bill amount. This company had to pay back money to the secondary insurance company. If you have 2 insurance coverage companies, watch the billing. A woman in that department attempted to gaslight me and make me feel like I was the one making a mistake. It was clear who was in the wrong when they paid the secondary insurance company back what was owed back to them. When I transferred to a different dentist, I requested records from this fraudulent dental billing. I was then once again gaslighted and was told I would have to pay for the records to be transferred. I threatened to turn everything over to the Ohio State Attorney General's office. Needless to say I did not pay to have those records transferred. And no, this is not my real name. I am choosing to use an alias to protect my anonymity.

I am new to the area so I rely on the list from the insurance company. I secured an appointment at…read more8 AM and was told to arrive 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork. When I arrived (10 minutes early) there was a gate blocking the entrance...that should have been my first clue. A nice black lady (worker) came over to open the gate. I parked my car and walked to the door and it was locked ....hmmmmm (mind you, I was instructed to arrive early.) 3 minutes to my appointment time, I tried the door again and found it open. I walked in, announced my name and was given forms to fill out in exchange for my ID and insurance card. The forms asked for my date of birth and SS# as well as my husband's SS# and date of birth. I didn't provide the SS# because who knows what kind of system this company has. The person behind the desk told me she needed this information to process insurance (um, really!??) I offered to provided my credit card for the charge but she didn't want it....she wanted out SS#! STAY AWAY!!!!
