This made eating very difficult and painful. My dentist recommended dr Monga at this location. Tmj is expensive and difficult to try and fix. Medical and dental insurance dont cover it. So it was thousands of dollars. Needed physical therapy. If tmj is your issue highly recommend insisting on Chris for therapy. I tried several other therapists and the only one id recommend is Chris. After alot of time and money my tmj is finally much better. Nice to be able to occasionally eat popcorn or steak. Great to not have daily pain. Dr monga was very kind. Really liked her. I guess not many places know what to do for tmj so if thats your issue highly recommend her. Wish I would have dealt with it earlier so things wouldn't have gotten so bad..

During that exchange, in my presence, my thoughts were; I have never witnessed that type of treatment of an employee in the presence of a patient... very unprofessional. I have since changed doctors.

I had my cleaning and an additional treatment was recommended. I was told they would check with my insurance and "get back to me." After two months and hearing nothing, I contacted them. At that point I was told they hadn't done all the x-rays they needed to and could I get the old ones from my old dentist. Say what? They didn't do what they were supposed to, never got back to me and I have to do the legwork to resolve it! Although I asked twice why the x-rays weren't taking, they refused to answer. Basically, they dropped the ball, blew off their commitment to follow up and now tell me they can't do anything unless I get the x-rays they neglected to take. Well, I can do something and have: I can get a new dentist.

In the middle of the chaos of PCSing from WPAFB life has been a bit more stressful than our typical…read morePCS crazy. One of those things has been tooth pain and finding out I needed to have a root canal before leaving. I was referred to Uzzel Dental Group by a friend and they were able to schedule to see me within two weeks. Dr. Uzzel is the most gentle, kind, and exceptionally talented Dentist I have ever been treated by. He and his staff have been clear with all that is going on and how they would treat it. Dr. Kristy Bultema at Beavercreek Endodontics who he referred to perform my root canal itself was warm and comforting (even after having some not so fun side effects from the numbing agent) and did an amazing job. Then to top it all off due to some PCSing gymnastics I had to wait at Dr. Uzzel's office for a couple of hours after walking across the street from having my root canal done to put the permanent crown on and his staff has been absolutely amazing. (To reiterate the wait was not their fault it was due to PCSing fun. If anything it was a huge favor to squeeze me in before our out processing date.) His staff has taken care of me all morning. Treating me like family. Even giving me snacks and making sure I have been comfortable. Additionally, I had a beautiful connection with a fellow patient that was extremely encouraging. I would recommend Uzzel Dental Group and Beavercreek Endodontics to anyone looking for dental care in the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base area.
