I really enjoyed getting annual cleanups from Becky, their dental hygienist. However they're overbooked. Despite scheduling with them months in advance, they moved me. It's disappointing because the dental hygienist that left wasn't even my dental hygienist and they rescheduled me. Anyway, I would recommend this branch for a cleaning but not sure for anything else. I recommended Aspen Beavercreek to a friend whose tooth got chipped. After it was filled etc, she said it chipped again the next day. It was kind of a embarrassment to refer them only to have my friend have a terrible experience. She was really shy and didn't come back so she paid hundreds of dollars and still has a chipped tooth. Money grab only quoted 1752.00 just to pull bottom teeth, amazing my dentist is doing for 111.00 spent 10 min ex rays and maybe 15 min sitting in a chair not the dental chair either. Had an infection which nothing was done was in excruciating pain! Thank god he didn't pull it! Next day put on antibiotics by my real dentist thankfully. Regardless what the xray showed he looked in my mouth for maybe 10 seconds! Spent more time in the office discussing my plan! That would have been roughly 3700 for pulling 8 teeth and dentures for bottom teeth! Where was their 499.00 deal buyer beware! Never ever again! about 2 years ago I went there and got upper and lower dentures. I had a good experience and was very happy with the service. On 12-3-2025 I decided to get dental implants about a $30,000.00 investment that I was ready to do with Aspin Dental. My appointment was at 1pm. I arrived about 15 minutes early and got checked in. After 1 pm I waited in the waiting room as 4 other people who came in after me went back to be seen. As I was waiting in the lobby the desk staff was talking and laughing. When I finally went back, I got an x-ray of my jaw then they took me back to a room. As I waited, I could hear the staff up front talking and laughing even singing to the music playing over the speakers. I felt disrespected and that I wasn't important. I felt they did not want my business, So I walked out. I was not impressed with this visit after driving an hour one way to be seen. So, I decided to take my business somewhere else. I called this Location in April and they told me I had to call back after my son turned 6 to make an appointment. So I called back in June and got an appointment for today. When I got there the lady says she has to check if they can work on a 6 year old or not. She comes back 2-3 minutes later saying that they only had one hygienist and they were running behind and if I could come back tomorrow. I told her that we had driven 40 minutes to be there for his very first dental appointment and I couldn't come back. She then said her next available appointment would be in 3 and half weeks! I asked her why they hadn't called and rescheduled before I came in and she said she had tried the day before. I showed her my phone which had no call or voicemail from them. I called the Aspen Dentists in the Cleveland area and they didn't take my insurance, so when I moved to Dayton and scheduled an appt with them, I was surprised when I could see them. Anyway, I go to my appt and they said they didn't even had me scheduled! Luckily, they were able to reschedule for next week. When I gave them my insurance card, they didn't participate with them just like the Cleveland locations and wanted to charge me $269.00 for a CLEANING! I DON'T THINK SO! I am actually in Dayton Ohio. Tried getting into the Beavercreek office for a specific issue. Was told if you are a new patient (i've been there several times in past years), you have to have full X-rays, see the Hygienist and then the dentist for an exam and they would develop your care plan. Sounds like they are only interested is billing you insurance and making money. Called the corporate office, evidently these are franchised and each location makes up their own rules. Waiting on call back from both the corporate office and the Beavercreek Ohio office. They appear to have no interest in helping relieve your pain. What a shame. read more

This rating would have been Horrible if at all possible. I went to the Centerville OH office as I am on UHC for Medicare and the Ondodontist approved is at Aspen Dental Unfortunately. They said the xrays forwarded by my dentist were not good enough, so did a special xray, on their stand up xray machine, which I was told they were putting in for pre-approval by UHC. (THEY DID NOT) and actually turned in with wrong codes. Called my UHC ins, and was told that if it had been coded that they took this xray to see about a root canal (which they did schedule for me) that it would have been covered 100% - ASPEN collected almost $400 for this procedure, opened a care credit for the remaining procedure. I explained what UHC had said, and if they would turn it in with correct code, it would be refunded to me. I was told this will NOT happen (in many, many, many ways- this is how we do it, and will not do it again). Called UHC again, and again was told all they have to do is re-code with the real reason for the xray, and it will be covered 100%. At that time I asked if Aspen had turned in anything on the upcoming root canal, for pre-auth, and was told NO. UHC actually appologized for the way they were treating me, and said they will call them. I am 73 yrs old and have gone to the dentist for many, many years, and have dealt with Ins companies and claims for years. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE behavior by any Dentist. (oh, and I forgot, they will not do the root canal until I pay them another $179 - even though I have already been taken for almost $400.. read more

I went in to Aspen Dental to have a filling in a front tooth replaced. Ended up with a oral exam; x-rays; cleaning and a later appointment for the filling which they later called and canceled until 5 weeks later. They handed me an electric toothbrush and told me to use it, said it was all part of their plan. They did not ask me if I wanted it; they did not tell me my insurance would not be paying for it; they did not tell me it cost $150! When I tried to return it I was told I would have to mail it in to the company that makes it. That cost me over $12! I am still trying to get reimbursed for that postage. I had a first visit at another Aspen office, but then moved to Dayton. This office made me re-do the initial visit even though they were able to get all my records and x-rays from the first Aspen office. I have a tooth that needs filled that is causing me constant pain, so having to re-do this first visit was ridiculous. (I need another pulled but it's not hurting, so it's not the priority here). Then they said I couldn't even SCHEDULE the filling unless I paid what my insurance won't cover up front. So I called and scheduled the filling as soon as I got paid, and the woman on the phone knew the tooth number and everything, and I paid over the phone. When I got to my appointment, the Dr. said he was going to pull the tooth that needs pulling. I said no, I'm here for the filling on the other side of my mouth. He claimed he never even looked at that tooth (and he IS the one I saw on my first visit, who drew up the entire treatment plan-- how else did the woman who took my payment know which tooth I was talking about?) The Dr. looked at the tooth in question, said yes, it needs a filling, but I would have to get a cleaning first. THIS WAS NEVER MENTIONED TO ME BEFORE THIS POINT, AND WAS NOT ON MY INITIAL TREATMENT PLAN. I told him I was in constant pain, and he said to take Ibuprofen, which I've been taking around the clock for 2 weeks for this tooth. I have taken off work TWICE to go to this place and have NOTHING DONE. I asked for a full refund, which I have to wait a week to receive, and will be seeking a different dentist in Dayton. Horrible experience here. and not just because I was "going to the Dentist". I was made to wait back in the chair to get my teeth cleaned for about half an hour, no I'm not exaggerating. I believe someone at the front desk told me the dentist was eating lunch. Ok, THEN WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT DURING HIS LUNCH BREAK? idiots. I had to go back to get my cavities filled. This time I had a young Asian dentist. There are tv's in front of all the chairs...she was WATCHING TV while doing my fillings. Not only that but her assistant was also Asian, and they were speaking in some other language to each other across from me. I'm sorry, if I want to be around rude people speaking different languages while doing a service for me I will go to the nail salon. She didn't even do the filling right as my teeth still get pains in them when I eat certain foods. This same woman also did my friends fillings and one of his broke a month later. About a year after I went here I got a letter in the mail saying they had overcharged me around $800!!! What the heck! Came here because it was part of MetLife's preferred program and it was close. The first time we came for my wife's initial check it took about 30 minutes to be seen. Not terrible but when you have an appointment you think you'd be seen a little closer to your time... Anyways here we are for her first cleaning, first we were told we'd have to pay for the fluoride treatment out of pocket... Called up MetLife and they said its covered they just have to send in the paperwork. It thr cleared up and here I am in the lobby an hour after our appointment time and my wife only got seen after asking what was going on. At no time were we told why the wait was taking so long or how much longer it might be. The only thing they do have is a sign that says they only have one dentist working so be patient... This was up last time too. Maybe if they changed their appointment slots or stopped taking new patients they could keep appointment times. read more

Friendly people, and bottom line the dental care was great. I read some of the dopey reviews here written by people who complain about 30 min wait times (hey the guy before you was a difficult case -lighten up) and billing/insurance issues. Frankly, you should know what your dental insurance covers and doesn't, you're a moron if you blame the dental office for costs over your insurance. Its spelled out in your policy - try reading it. Anyway, I had a chipped tooth they fixed in 30 min, they warned me I had to be careful with it, but I wasn't. I was biting my nails and I broke the filling after only 6 wks. Stupid (on my part). They're fitting me in within a week. Great service; they deserve better patients than these yelp reviews indicate. read more

(Disclaimer: I am writing this review for her because she is still crying and in pain from this so called "professional dental procedure". She suffers from anxiety and was feeling very anxious about having the procedure, SHE WAS HAVING A FREAKING TOOTH REMOVED, and after expressing her fears the staff was completely unsympathetic and eventually the dentist just threw his hands in the air and said "I can't do this, she is going to have to sedated!" and walked out. They offered her NO solution to the situation and went ahead with the procedure anyway. I wont even get into how crappy they did the procedure. SHE COULD FEEL EVERYTHING THEY DID. Next, she went to see the financial guy because having a new tooth put in is going to be $4000. He was a COMPLETE DICK to her. Because she was just put through a SEVERELY traumatic experience, she was in the most pleasant of moods he told he "I don't have to help you." I think I have covered most of the bad stuff. I am sure I have missed many of the other horrible things they did and said. OVERALL, AVOID THIS PLACE. I'm must be a slow learner, but I just wanted this dental work done. After my horrible experience with Aspen of Huber Heights, I went to a new location expecting something different. The chick that is at the front desk who appears as if you are bothering her by checking in(for the record the woman who worked on 11/11 at the front desk Aspen Managers), put a nasty taste in my mouth but I decided to stay pleasant. This chick asked me for my insurance information and I smiled and said I just spoke with someone over the phone and gave her my insurance information and she was calling my insurance company. This chick asked me again for my insurance information as if what I said was not important! I just got finished working a 12 hour shift so I gave her my health insurance information, so I can speed up this process. I sit down waiting for my appointment and an older woman comes in and this chick acts the same way. As if this woman came to Aspen to bother her. The woman said I am here to get a filing fix that is coming loose and the doctor said this visit was on him. This nasty chick, replied I need your insurance information, I have you in the system responsible for your visit today so you have to discuss that with the doctor, to include you owe a balance for the filing. The woman asked how much the balance was and she said $300! At that moment I knew that all Aspen Dentals are the same so I decided to find another dentist! This ray of sunshine at the front desk is nasty to all customers. This dentist couldn't do a filing and she was going to have to pay $300 for a filing that has to be redone. I don't know how that situation ended, but as soon I heard that discussion I was in the waiting room, making an appointment with a dentist that my co-worker referred me to. I have been going to this office for years and had Dr Clemente and thoroughly enjoyed him. I went back yesterday and had another dentist, Dr Hlizadegan and he was very rude to me. I went in for a 5 pm appt and didn't get back for 20-30 minutes, had x-rays and then put in the room. I sat back and closed my eyes waiting for the dentist. I laid my head back and closed my eyes and waited for an hour. I finally asked and he shortly showed up and said, " I was at the door a couple of times and you were napping so I let you sleep." That alone is unacceptable. Then he looked at the tooth and said, "That had a root canal and you have to go to an endodontist. I can't do anything for you." I asked why they didn't just tell me that when I made the appointment and he said you will have to ask the front desk. I also couldn't understand a couple of words he was saying so another dentist stepped in and said it clearer. I was there over 1.5 hours to be told they couldn't help me and referred me. I have had many dentists over the years as well as a great deal of intense dental work, so I've had my fair share of dentists, but this is by far the worst place I've been to. I have had to return 5 times for broken crowns, damaged veneers, and just over all poor work. I paid over $2000 for cosmetic dental work and it broke is 17months, then they and the nerve to tell me that they didn't have to fit me in to fix it for over a week and a half...when it was their poor work that was the problem. I was not aware that a toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste from this office was 208 dollars, or I would have never taken them home. As the other reviewers said, another cookie cutter center with the sole purpose of getting rich quick. What is even more concerning is they actually put profits above patient wellness........ Point in case...They reminded me of time share sales where everyone follows a script and they think we are all so stupid to recognize lousy acting. I just moved to Beavercreek, Ohio and ASPEN is in network for my dental insurance plan. so why not, they are convenient and easy to get to. First, my appointment was 4:00 PM, and I had filled out all the forms ahead of time and took them with me. I signed in, turned in my forms at 3:50 PM. As I watched and listened in on conversations with other patients, I realized so much for privacy. I listened to the sales much from 4 PM to 5:30 PM before I was called in for X-rays. They were offering patients some creative payment plans to make their smile prettier. After X-rays, I was taken to a chair and waited another 30 minutes for a dentist. BY them I had texted my wife about 10 dentist memes, most not so kind. The dentist finally came over introduced himself, poked around my mouth, flipped through X-rays on a nifty monitor conveniently placed where one can kick it if you are in too much pain. He poked around for 2 minutes, told me all looked well, and the Hygienist will be over to schedule cleaning. PAY ATTENTION TO THIS CAREFULLY: Act 2 Scene 1 About 15 minutes later, Dr. Hygienist shows up with her assistant who proceeded to tell her that her mouth is in pain because she had not been able to get her cleaning done and now it is infected and she cannot wait to get an appointment to have it cleaned....... HMMMMHHHHHH ? you are a hygienist, work in a dental office, do not practice good oral hygiene, and cannot get a timely appointment. Okay then, let us see where this heads. Well Dr. Hygienist lays be back, and starts measuring my gum and rattles off, 3,3,4,5,5,3,3,3,.... Calcification and bleeding. She was really poking this sharp object into my gum. If my gum did not bleed from that then I surely have other issues. This continued top and bottom. All done she removes her mask and gives me the summary. We will have to get under your gum because you have bacteria. We will need to clean and put anti-biotics under the gum. We will need to get you back every 3 months until this clears up. We will also check for oral cancer. The pappilona or something like that virus is on the rise and the cases of oral cancer is on the rise. We will give you a solution to swish around and then shine a light to detect anything. Okay them. When do we start ? The office manager will come to get you to discuss scheduling. Act 3 Scene 1 In comes the office manager and asks me to follow him. His computer screen already populated and he shows me. The treatment that was discussed with you will cost you $5213 after insurance. We offer interest free financing for 18 months unless you default. So I asked, " Does that include replacing the cracked filling that really brought me in ?" Oh no, that is separate. Can we schedule a cleaning that the insurance covers and the filling repair ? No we cannot do that because it is not ethical to do a basic cleaning now that we know that there is more to be done. How about my filling. Well we will see, the doctor may not want to do it because of the infected areas. Well, I took a copy of my X-rays, met with a dentist just up the street from them. He examined my mouth and told me that all that needs to done is a cleaning, redo the filling, and FOR ME TO FLOSS MORE OFTEN.... BEWARE.... ASPEN SELLS TIME SHARE AND USED CARS. read more

I had around $8k worth of work done back in '14. My first couple visits were wonderful until the work they did started breaking. I had a bridge and Veneers placed. One of the tops of the teeth on the bridge broke and one veneer came off. I will say they got me in immediately and fixed them no charge, and because of that it makes me want to go back but let me tell you...these people can treat you like trash! When the veneer came off I actually went to another dentist and paid for them to put it back on but it came right back off in two days so I had to go back to Aspen. The man that repairs the teeth is phenomenal at what he does! If he repairs something it is staying in place! But unfortunately I can't bring myself to go back because the way they treat you. Starting at the front desk with one of the nasty young ladies that has been there so long she seems to think she's at her home the way she acts and treats people. I won't tell you not to go there but I will tell you to be careful if you do. I've known two other people that have been to this location since '14 and their experience has been similar in regard to the way they treat you. Too bad! I posted this review to the Aspen Dental website and it was deleted. Ok, first let me start by saying that this place doesn't even give you the option to leave a negative feedback category. That's that. Now, this place is a total rip-off. They try to sell you $150 toothbrushes, $50 mouthwashes and other expensive crap, telling you that you "need" it. I've heard that they were a cheaper dentist and that's a lie when all is said and done. There are so many hidden charges when it comes to getting something as simple as a cleaning. Of course all of the things I'm about to list are optional, but they make it seem otherwise! I went in to have a cleaning which, simple enough, I get there and they tell me they would recommend a 2 part cleaning, meaning they would thoroughly clean my teeth at 2 appointments. Normally, cleaning is 100% covered by my dental insurance, but no, not this time. Because I opted into the 2 parter, I was now stuck buying this mouthwash for $50. The cleaning itself took 1 minute and 30 seconds, I timed it!! She took the cleaning drill thing and scraped my 4 front teeth and that's it! Nothing else! No brushing, polishing, flossing, anything! On top of this, the person who assured me that she'd been doing this for years hurt me with the drill thingie, digging into my gums around the 4 teeth. On top of this insult, she then proceeded to take a needle and "irrigate" the 4 teeth. That involved squirting mouthwash into my mouth. And what did that cost me? $13.50 per quad (because she did one tooth in each section of my mouth). At the appointment I asked what I was paying for and was told that the $50 was for the mouthwash (Fluoridex Daily Renewal 8.5oz). When I got back home and found it online for less than half the price, i called them about it. At that point, I was put on hold and then told I wasn't paying for the mouthwash at all, but for the irrigation. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I usually enjoy getting a cleaning, but sadly not this time. read more

A cleaning later my mouth is a mess, the hygienist was so brutal with her treatments I'm bruised and in pain days later and they told me I had a terrible gum disease and needed my wisdom teeth pulled, checked with a real dentist and I do not. I agree with the previous review: cookie cutter dentistry who is all about the money vs customer service. I went in to have my teeth cleaned, but they took X-rays, told me that I had problems, that I needed to buy this $300 toothbrush & a special rinse. The dentists seemed as if they were straight out of college. At the end if my visit, the young girl put together some $500 plan that would include tests I didn't need. Not feeling good about it, I scheduled an appt with another dentist. I called Aspen to let them know that I needed to reschedule, & her response was "ok, I got you scheduled, make sure you have your money for the treatment plan" & hung up. She was extremely rude! I visited another dentist and she cleaned my teeth with no problems & told me that I didn't have any cavities or needed a special toothbrush. Based on customer service alone, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Aspen may be good for someone who doesn't have insurance because they have payment plans. That's about it. read more
