Gayle and I stopped here for gas before heading back home to Genoa from Dayton: CONS 1. There were no trash receptacles within the bays or next to the building. So if like me, you like to empty out car trash when filling up, you're SOL. 2. The pump just wouldn't take my card and even came close to eating it. So inside I went for fixed amount purchase. 3. Fox News was loudly on the TV during my short inside appearances. Yes, Lyon county is MAGA land in spots, but some of shouldn't have to hear it. PROS 1. Could be the cheapest gas in town. 2. Clean and well kept premises. 3. Reasonably pleasant guy at the inside counter. 4. Easy access from US 50 and back onto the road. read more

One of the essentials for a gas station is something called "gasoline," however, one thing that this gas station consistently lacks is the aforementioned combustible substance. In other words, this station may have gas - it may not have gas, depends on the day of the week. Same goes for diesel - however, more often than not - they're out. Oh yeah, you want premium? You're not gonna find it here - last time I drove around back, the tank was empty and the pump was out of order. Another negative is that the pumps haven't been updated since I was in high school, and I graduated in 2002. Want to pay at the pump? You're out of luck, Chuck. They've never had pay at the pump - and probably never will. Heck, they still have some of the 76 decals on the pumps. The store is like any other mini-mart, however, if you want a nice one - go down the road about six miles to Maverik, or go to Sinclair across the highway. read more

I stopped yesterday 8/21/2021 after looking for cheaper fuel prices and found this little market $.06 cents a gallon below everyone else. Filling up with over 50 gallons of diesel you understand my quest. Paid cash and the owner was very gracious for my purchase. He says he checks gas, fuel prices every morning and keeps his prices below others store. He says his customers matter, and he says he helps in all areas he can. Family owned. A seemingly decent gas and service station, much cheaper than Chevron across the street, but much much more run-down and inconvenient. No "plus" gas here, and the premium unleaded is in a separate, small tank around back. Very sketchy. If you are going for regular or diesel, this place is probably OK; but if you have any standards, I'd stick to the Chevron across the street. read more

So, back in April 2019 I took my car into this service station because although my car ran, it didn't have the power it should've had. I got my car back the first time on April first, however I had to take it back because it still wasn't running properly so when i got it back the second time on April 8th they had replaced the Ignition Control Module, plugs and wires and a coil pack. Now when they called me about the ICM they said it was available as a used part verses paying the high expense for the new one. Immediately I asked if the used ICM would be warrantied and they told me yes as well as they warranty their work. He completely convinced me that the used part would be the same as if I paid for the new one And If anything went wrong the part and the work was warrantied. On June 24th while I was driving down the freeway my car suddenly died. I managed to pull off to the shoulder and call my mother in law who paid for the tow truck the next day, which cost over $200 just to get my car back to my house. This morning I called them asking about the warrantied parts which he then tells me the used part was only warrantied for 30 days! So now after dropping a crap load of money to get my car up and running like it should be, which it still wasn't running properly, here I am without my car again! I only went with the used part because he swore it was warrantied and their work was too, he convinced me to go with the used part! Then, to completely top it off even though my car is only registered in my name and I paid for all the work they did they are so sexist (IMHO) that they put my account and records under my Husband's phone number! I Came in to do a simple oil change, came back a couple hours later and Brian told me that I need 4 new shocks and a tire rotation. He quoted me $736. I came back the next day and got the new shocks and rotation. The day after I picked up my car a sensor came up saying auto ride. I called Brian and could tell that the person that answer WAS him and when I said "are you sure this isn't Brian?" They said no. I told the "not Brian" on the phone about the sensor and they said that the shocks that I needed were $500 per shock because I have sensors in my shocks and he went ahead and put regular shocks on. When I came in the day before he never gave me my old shocks nor did he mention me needing more expensive shocks! Little did "not Brian" know is that while I was talking to him I was driving to his shop. I pulled up, he saw me and ran into the building. I walked in and "not Brian" I mean Brian said "oh hi I just heard that you called". I called him out on how he still had my old shocks and never told me about putting cheap shocks on my car in hopes of my cars sensor not telling me. He cried like a baby and said that he's so sorry and how stressed he was because his daughter was in jail. I told him that it wasn't my problem. I took my old shocks back and said that I was going out of town and would be back in 1 week to have my old shocks put back on. I put a stop payment on my check and the day after I put a stop payment he had the nerve to call me and demand his money. I reminded Brian of his bad business practice and said that I would pay him for the tire rotation once he put my old shocks back on. I took my old shocks to another mechanic to test the shocks and SHOCKING to find out that none of them were bad. 1 week later he finally put them back on in which he kept my car for 6 HOURS!!! I guess that was pay back to me for calling him out for his wrong doing. I urge anyone who is considering taking your vehicle into this shop that you stay far away from Brian and his business. He is a fraud, a crook and he needs to stop scamming his community. read more

Do not go to this store or shop! Brian Dyer, the owner of the repair shop, is a crook and a cheapskate. He uses cheap parts then charges you full labor to replace parts, while half assing the repair to save himself time. He holds on to vehicles a lot longer then needed. He also tells you that things need to be fixed when they don't. He pays his employees under the table wages, if at all. He has uncertified mechanics working there. His shop wreaks of marijuana and other chemical smells that don't relate to vehicle repair. While waiting for service or to inquire about services, customers have had to wait while Mr. Dyer goes out back to make a drug deal, then he comes back in, high as a kite. When you go back to complain about service, he starts crying and gives you a sob story about how things in his personal life arent going well. THATS NOT THE CUSTOMERS BUSINESS OR PROBLEM! The owner of the gas station, Howa, as well as his son, Amit, are no better. They condone this behavior and attitude and know all about the drug dealing but turn a blind eye as Amit is a well known supplier to Mr. Dyer. read more
