They don't just "teach to the test", but also teach driving skills that will keep your family safe. Their knowledge of the process in the county is remarkable. (the road test in this county can be tough) After each lesson, the instructors took the time to explain to me what my child needed to practice and focus on Their flexibility and availability was key for us and proved invaluable. We got a phone call after the road test checking in (that in my opinion is great over the top service) Needless to say, my daughter passed with a perfect score on the road test. As long as my daughter is happy, I will leave it alone. I suggested a new instructor but my daughter doesn't want one... let's see how this goes...... First impression. I arrive 15 minutes early for my first appointment. My daughter's instructor arrives 15 minutes late, pulls in the driveway and beeps the horn to summon us. She doesn't get out to introduce herself, there was no prior notification of her being late, and she has an attitude. The instructor drives off after my daughter enters the car and says she'll be back at 1pm. The facility has no waiting room or chairs. Luckily there is one metal bench my daughter and I shared while we waited. Unprofessional is a great way to describe my first experience. For the amount of money I paid to send my daughter to this school, solely based on reviews, I am highly disappointed. I can only hope the rest of the sessions go better since I purchased a package.

I purchased a lessons package for my daughter to make sure that her driving skills were polished and that I didn't totally teach her incorrectly. She certainly picked up a lot of pointers that I otherwise would not have realized to point out which is another reason I think this business is essential for anyone looking to ace their road test. Highly recommend getting ANY CDL here…read more.. When you're paying out of pocket you want a school that teaches you to pass your road test the first time. In comparison to other schools I've seen during test day Atlantic Coast keeps their trucks very clean and in much better shape than other schools and appear to have a much higher passing rate then other schools. Having to retake your road test can cost a student $500+ and I wasn't chancing it. Many thanks to Richard and Mauro who guide and explain everything in great detail making it effortless to complete a proper pre-trip, parallel park your tractor trailer (which I was dreading) and avoiding those Newburgh potholes (Richard joke) overall it was a very comfortable experience. Passed my road test Aug 21st and started work Aug 27th. Plenty of work out there READ and re-read the CDL book start calling out EVERY caution sign when you drive and you'll pass with flying colors.. She had finally been able to schedule some lesson, for them to be canceled last minute. He also said some of them had not been schedule, yet when we had scheduled them, he was onboard. Heres the kicker--called him to ask and see what the issue was, and he was very rude to my mother who had also paid for the lessons. He ended up saying he was going to just refund us. Would NEVER recommend this place to anybody who does not want a headache.
