The representative was very accommodating and gave me a 10% discount, so I was very thankful and excited for them to come out. The technician was a very pleasant man and came earlier than expected (although that did make it a little difficult schedule wise for me, it's much better than being late!). I went to check on the carpets later that afternoon and was a bit disappointed in the results. There was a gas like odor on my carpets afterwards, and the representative told me it was likely due to my tenants use on the carpet, and they may have had pets. My tenant did not have any pets, and the carpet was cleaned previously several times but has never had that smell before. I did not want to argue and went ahead and paid for the service I ordered, as they did come out and clean the carpets. I thought that steam cleaning uses chemicals along with water to steam the carpets and should have a more "clean" scent from the chemicals used and was told I should've purchased the deodorizer package along with it. I've had this carpet and other carpets steamed cleaned in the past and have never encountered this smell before. It's possible that it may have been from my tenant, but I honestly did not think so. All in all, I really appreciated their service but may be looking for a different steam cleaning company that uses different chemicals in the future.
