Turns out, my key didn't have a functioning chip. We tried another spare key and it started right up. They wanted $180 for their effort. Then "Rudy" told me I needed a new oil pan gasket, since the old one was leaking. They could replace it, as well, for $850, total. I knew it wasn't leaking because there hadn't been any spots on the driveway. Besides, I could buy a gasket at Autozone for $18, drain the oil, and do it myself in an hour at home. I paid them the $180 and picked the car up later. At home I tried opening the hood and found that both hood support struts had been broken, intentionally, I guessed. Crappy and childish behavior. These guy must make much of their money ripping off unsuspecting tourists, I'm guessing. Go someplace else -

Not only did Nick and his crew do an excellent job, but Nick also kept me informed of any issues they had with obtaining parts or things that may have broken during the process. I took my Dodge Ram to Sierra Blanca Collision for repair on May 20th 2023 after hitting a deer…read more They told me it would take two week to do the work. i called after two weeks and was told it would be another week before the truck would be ready. They had all the parts to do the repair but were running behind. This was repeated due to one excuse or another about doing the paint work until June 21st. Sierra Collision said they needed to finish the reassembly after painting the repair parts. I told them I was leaving town to visit relatives and would pick up the truck on June 26th. I called on June 26th and was told they needed another day because they had broken the passengers side rear view mirror glass. I received a call today that the truck was ready. When I arrived and inspected the truck, the replaced mirror was dangling by the defroster cord from the mirror housing. it was nothing more than a peel and stick mirror, not the OEM mirror I was told it would be replaced with. I refused delivery until the entire mirror assembly is replaced. I expect this will turn into a fight. I called USAA complained and warned them about sending their customers to this body shop. So BE WARNED about using this business.

He took my contact info and told me he would follow up with the price and availability. Nobody ever called. I ordered the tire off of Tire Rack. I brought the tire and the rim in to be mounted at 2:45 in the afternoon and was told they couldn't get it done. So what can you do? You can't follow up with the customers, you can't even look up when you can get the tire. Instead of offering to set me up an appointment for the following day, it was just a hard we can't do it. I'm fairly new to the area and was recommended this shop. But two times I've been there and they haven't been able to help. I'll find another shop.

We found it, and got rear ended in the process. It was a slow moving crash and no one was injured, thank goodness. My next concern was getting my car road worthy to make the trip home to TX the next day. I arrived at Copper Mountain at the suggestion of the police officer who worked the accident. They immediately patched up my car, being mindful of small details such as taping up my rear light cover and reattaching(instead of just disposing) my fender to help prevent road sludge from entering the gash in my car. In the end, he told us to enjoy the rest of our trip and drive safely home, and wouldn't take a dime. This a great place, with people who truly care. Thank you!

Her tire pressure reading in the car said one was low. I love this woman beyond words, but she doesn't know how her car works or what any of that means (and doesn't want to learn now). She was worried. I got her the address and sent her to AutoZone Ruidoso because I knew from the website they were still open. She was skeptical as to what they could do for her, but I told her. You must trust the ZONE. She arrived and went in where she met my peace of mind Named Daniel. He reassured her that all will be fine and grabbed a machine to test her tire air. 15 min later all her tires were filled, she was relaxed and on the road again as Willie would say. I can't thank Daniel enough, and while I truly expect AutoZone to always be there when I need it, being there for her when I couldn't be, made me appreciate them even more. They will always have my business and loyalty, because I know they always have my back. Thank you Daniel. Next time I am in Ruidoso, lunch is on me.

The new (since 2023) owners are way, way overpriced and will rip you off every chance they get. We needed to purchase a part for our RV and the man at the counter told us he had the part in stock , which we then paid for the part, he went to the back to retrieve the part and when he brought it to the counter it was the wrong part, when we questioned him about this we were told that we "could make it work " We asked for our money back and were told that they do not give refunds, only store credits. The sad part is that they now have $400 of our money and the correct part I ordered from Thetford was only $218 ! We have since talked to other RV'ers and ALL of them have said not to do business with these people. Beware these are bad people !
