The fuel leak was a injector. It cost me thousands of dollars to learn.

I ordered parts and we made plans to have an appointment for him to install after the new year (parts would arrive around Christmas Eve). Curtis arrived promptly for our appointment and got right to work. He was fast and thorough, diagnosing and fixing an additional problem as it came up. I had ordered one part wrong and it wouldn't fit, so he re-ordered it to come in about a day later and came back to finish the repair and get me back on the road. The men's bathroom was closed, so Womens was "unisex", there was urine in pools on the floor, and of course urine and feces everywhere imaginable. Disgusting. Guess since they're in the middle of the ride between El Paso and Ruidoso/Cloudcroft, they know ppl stop for gas anyway, so absolutely no incentive to keep the amenities usable. When I informed the ladies at the front counter, they just stared at me with a smirk. Just absolutely disgusting.

I went to the tool store and bought $200 worth of tools (that I have at home already) about $120 on oil and filters and I was rolling for just "few bucks less" it took me only 1 hrs and save over $1,000 bucks. Crazy they thought they saw me coming.... But nah they didn't get me.

Located in the Western portion/outskirts of the Las Cruces city limits. The staff is courteous, informative, helpful and friendly as the locals typically are. If no one is in the front then give them a ring. The techs/mechs in the garage won't be able to hear you as machinery and diesel motors are loud. Spot does repairs and sells parts. Not all parts are in stock as they are a garage first. Plenty of parking & easy to spot off the I-10. Safe travelings my friends.

I had been stranded in Deming, NM for 4 weeks trying to find an air spring for a 38 foot diesel RV…read more Firestone kept pull shipping dates out of the air, until they finally admitted the spring is not even in production, and they don't know when they will make it again...what the FLUFF?! I called Johnny Barnes Co to see if they would come to Deming from Las Cruces, and, if they could work on an RV chassis. Mike (Johnny's brother) assured me he could-he showed up with a full work truck, tool boxes, air compressor, jacks rated for loads bigger than my RV and a 'can do' attitude. The springs the engineers at Reyco-Granning said would work didn't fit. Mike took the blown air bag with him to El Paso the next day and managed to source an almost EXACT fit at Wofford. He then drove back to the state park I was at and installed it in about an hour & half. He had to re-seat the leveling jack foot pad that got knocked off, but he completed that in about 15 minutes of muscling it onl. He arrived both days, focused on the task at hand, unlike the first mechanic in Deming I called that showed up with a pickup with some tools, no way to lift the RV, and kept calling his girl friend to bring him more stuff from home. This company works on the suspension and engines, lighting systems of commercial trucks at the roadside, quickly, to get you going again. Their rates for trip charge and labor were reasonable and he gave me the invoice for the air bag he purchased. I bought a second airbag to replace the other side later. To recap: call these guys for anything related to the drive train, engine, suspension, etc.. If you need RV 'house' things repaired, go to Jimmie's in Deming

Mike took the call even though he was in El Paso and could have easily passed on it. He drove all over, took apart the hub, figured out what parts we needed, drove all over to get them, got us fixed enough to get into town and unload. I left trailer with him and he completely fixed and made trailer bulletproof. Had a great attitude, risked his life on the side of the highway, and overall took care of getting us back on the road. We needed quick repairs and other diesel repair shops had longer waiting list. This diesel repair shop not only fixed everything to my husbands satisfaction, who happens to be an auto-mechanic but didn't have the tools to fix everything on our list.
