Dana has hands of an angel!! I'm really picky about the way a stylist touches my head and moves me around. And lemme tell you.. this is beyond the best I've ever been treated! She took so much care on me you could feel the love she has for what she does. No water in my ears while shampooing my hair, no yanking my hair when brushing, no hairs falling on my face while cutting, and the heat for blow dry and styling was not hot ... just wow. I went there roughly about a month ago (or so) and had my hair cut by the most incredible hair stylist ever (Cristina)...I was so happy I went there!!! And of all the years I've had my hair done this is by far one of the best places I've ever gone to. It was a welcoming, comfortable and elegant place, but the customer service is beyond amazing. And I love that they follow-up (except I didn't complete the "survey" because of a technicality problem - my own not theirs)?! Yelpers, if you could feel how amazingly soft my hair is right now, you would think I am a newborn. I came here for a much needed cut... Dana appeared before me as a hair angel sent from stylist heaven. I walked in with split ends and damaged goods and she was able to reincarnate my hair into its new life of goddess hair. The studio is SO cute that it makes me want to Instagram.... It's delightfully clean and there's a bar cart with all the essentials - coffee and liquor (don't judge me). The salon's vibe really adds another dimension to the satisfaction of getting your hair done by a seasoned stylist. Where do I begin?! I'm obsessed with this new salon studio in Park Ridge. I was in need of a change and booked an appointment with Dana. She did an amazing job on my keratin treatment & cut. I have been getting compliments left and right ever since...needless to say she definitely makes this place worth a try! Dana & Christina make such a great team! Their studio is so cute but more importantly they both do AMAZING work! Dana has done a great job cutting and styling my hair and I even had her put in extensions! Loved them! She does great work! Followed my favorite stylist here, Dana! The new space is beautiful, clean, and stocked with all of my favorite Moroccan Oil products! I work in Park Ridge and you can't beat the convenience of the location (Starbucks is a must have for every hair appointment!). There is parking in the Uptown Parking lot behind the Sola Salon Suites. Dana has always done an incredible job cutting and styling my hair. I recently came in for baby lights looking to lighten up my look and WOW! I have never been so happy with my hair color. I received so many compliments about the color and how natural it looks. Feelin myself is an understatement. Don't forget to ask for Olaplex! Dana will always offer it, but I was so happy to learn that DC offers this incredible add on to your hair coloring. I started getting my hair done by Dana when she was at Salon Prospect and she has always done a fantastic job! Her and Christina's new salon is so cute and extremely clean! The last time I went in was for a full head of extensions. I had never had extensions before but Dana explained the process and maintenance of them so I understood exactly how to take care of them. Just an FYI....the number listed here isn't the number to the salon! It rang to one of the stylists cell numbers who was on vacation! She was out of town and wanted to give me a number of another stylist to call?? Very confusing...I just wanted to call the salon and make an appointment! I mentioned to her that I simply dialed the business number that Yelp provided, but she wasn't terribly concerned! Great reviews - so they are doing something right! Must be more of a "word of mouth/established client base" place....because they aren't making it easy for new clients. She was nice, but just too much hassle! I found Dana through Yelp and cannot say enough about her services. She is not only the best hair stylist I have ever had but also the most professional. The salon is absolutely my favorite. I recently had my hair colored, highlighted and cut. I cannot tell you the looks and compliments that I have received from both men and women. I have truly found a hairstylist for life. Love this place! I went in for a haircut with Dana (her brother highly recommended me to try her out) and was very satisfied. During my visit, I wanted to knockout two birds with one stone so I ended up getting my girlfriend a gift card for a Brazilian blow out for her birthday.
