After receiving another roofing estimate which was about $4500.00 cheaper I decided that due to the lack of service on repairing a minor window lock, there was no way they would respond if a roof were to develop a leak. As of this review I have not received any correspondence from Allgood with respect to repairing my window. I can not with a clear conscious recommend this company to anyone searching for home remodeling or repair as they do not honor their warranty.

Several times I was told the crew would be out the next day and they wouldn't show, and no call to let me know they couldn't make it. Suffice it to say once the job was completed, my boyfriend and I had several concerns about the appearance of the roof (looked like there were several places susceptible to leaks) that were repeatedly waved off with more promises that it would not leak, rather than them just fixing the problems. I'm still fighting with the company to get the job done right and after all the hassle I feel like 8 grand is way too expensive for a rubber band-aid that looks like crap.

The job was done quickly too. Then, we had had them install engineered flooring in a living room, two bedrooms, and a hallway. As I write this, they are working on the staircase to the upstairs, installing the same flooring there as well. As often happens, there was a mix up in the delivery from the store and there was not enough of the stair nose. James was flexible and was able to come back as soon as the correct pieces were delivered. I appreciate that he takes the time to explain what he is doing as well. I recommend James and his crew for similar projects.

He glued wood pieces on my floor and didn't listen to our previous conversation of needing to match the kitchen floor up with the extra in the basement. To add to that I saw one of his "crew" leave with my ladder on my garage camera (came in with no ladder and left with my $100 ladder) I did not confront this until I arrived in person because i was trying to give the benefit of the doubt. It was in my sunroom with all other belongings so they went in there when they should've been no where near there without my permission. James told me he would ask said worker and then radio silence after that. They left a huge mess and was in my floor refinishers way even though I gave clear instructions not to be there at that time (construction dust and floor refinishing don't mix) I'm still mad at myself for being conned. When it came time to fix the ceiling, we could not get the previous company to return our calls so we turned to MXCP Construction. We had a consultation over the phone and I agreed for them to start the job the following week. They arrived promptly, assessed the damage in person, and talked me through the repair and patch process. They got to work right away and finished the repairs on the same day including the texture. The ceiling repair had to dry so it could not be completed on the same day. The crew cleaned up and took all the debris with them. The price was reasonable, they were timely, and the ceiling looked good!

We had been dealing with a leak in our roof that was starting to come into the kitchen, so we were looking for someone who could start the project sooner rather than later. Also, to complicate matters, we wanted new siding on a portion of our house and the back patio suddenly needed be addressed due to wood rot from all the ice/snow this past winter. We interviewed and received quotes from 9 different roofers/companies. Tim, by far, offered the best combination of price, value, solutions, communication and expertise for all of the work that we needed done. Once we agreed to the contract proposal, Tim and his crew came out a week later and got all of the work done in 2 days with the roof portion only taking 1 day of work! It was unbelievable how efficient and effective Tim and his crew were at completing all of the work. Tim also took the time to answer all of our questions and concerns (which were plenty) and was flexible and understanding when we changed our minds and added another job (we wanted the front of our house sided to match the second story portion). Tim and his crew also did a fantastic job protecting our bushes around the house and even our lawn, as recent rainfall had made it quite swampy. Cleanup was very thorough all around our property as well! We consider it quite a blessing that we were able to find Tim to complete all of these projects for us! Tim was the last guy we sat down with. Luckily he did my mother's roof a few years back so she referred him. This is crucial since he doesn't have much advertising and otherwise we would have never known about him. He came out the same day he called me back to take a look at the roof. He put together an estimate and we were pleasantly surprised! About 1/2 of the most expensive bid and almost $1,100 cheaper than the cheapest bid which didn't include an additional roof to be installed over an outdoor structure. We thought we sure hope this isn't too good to be true. Tim and his crew started the job the very next week. The job went off without a hitch! Tim and his crew took just two days to rip off my entire roof and replace it with quality Owens Corning shingles, and put a metal roof on my outdoor structure. They came early, about 7:15 and worked until the job was done. They cleaned up everything and even cleaned our gutters while they were up there! I can't say enough good things about T. Harrer Roofing and Remodeling. They are a young company, but what they lack in age they make up for in professionalism, quality work, and value. Excellent job.
